This peaceful, waterfront home has all of the bells and whistles that you have been looking for. This 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home is great for family gatherings, a romantic getaway or simply wanting to enjoy a peaceful moment. Our clubhouse pool is available! The master bedroom has a king bed and the other two bedrooms have 2 twin beds in each room. If necessary, the master bedroom is interchangeable and could have two twin beds. This request must be made 2 weeks in advance and at time of booking. Enjoy views of the lake as you eat breakfast, enjoy family time in the living room, while entertaining at the bar or from two of the bedrooms.

Thanksgiving Getaway

The house offers plenty of space (the bedrooms are massive) - think early 70’s ranch layout - with an amazing view of the lake (plenty of deer, a blue heron, geese and ducks). Our host went out of their way to make sure that we were able to cook a full Thanksgiving feast! If you’re looking for a quiet home to rest and relax, you’ve found it.

Nice Neighborhood rental property needs work!

We stayed here for Darlington race weekend. Location was great not far from the track and in a very nice neighborhood. The property itself needs some work. I would not recommend this property in the current condition.

House on a lake

This house was awesome! So spacious! My guest and I enjoyed ourselves so much! The house was so responsive and took care of our needs. We loved it!!!!

The home had no fire alarms or fire extinguisher. They were pulled out in kitchen and tv room. Lights did no work in master room blinked like crazy. Many other lights did not work. Dishwater leaks Fridge could not work well at all. Has to buy coolers and ice to keep our stuff cold. Two major doors would not open and were damage. Mold on ceilings in bathroom awful. All should have been fixed prior are arrival.

Great neighborhood

Great neighborhood honestly , few false advertisement stove not working and the shower in the master bedroom only hot water works. Last the wifi is not good I spent 7-10 days here no wifi.

We appreciate your feedback and was unaware of the issues with the wifi and stove. We checked after you left and rebooted the system and resolved the issue with the stove and hot water. A guest should feel welcomed to tell us if something is not going right with their stay and we wish we could have resolved while you were there. We hope to host you again.

Family baseball trip

We travel to Florence for the state baseball tournament( sadly didn’t win). The house was fit my family of 6 well even with 2 pets. The cleanliness so below par and the ac didn’t not keep the house cool. We did call the property manager and she was great and sent someone over the following day.

Wonderful Location

Three siblings and spouses and a small dog traveled from different states for a 6 day vacation. We chose Florence as it is close to the race track at Darlington. Finding this amazing house was a bonus! The house is very spacious with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It is on a lake in a golf course in a county club. No traffic and only one neighbor on one side. We took long walks in the quiet neighborhood Our host was very responsive when we had some minor issues come up. She works hard to make the house comfortable and is making ongoing improvements. Thanks, Xavier, for the great house for our family reunion

Cancelled because is safety issues. Exposed electrical wiring throughout and unable to secure doors

Cancelled upon arrival. Requested another property/was told none available. We requested refund under Book with Confidence Guarantee. Not safe . Traveled 11 hrs to spend hours on phone trying to get refund and a place for is to stay, Had to book two rooms for 6 adults for 4 nights. Very disappointing and I am still trying to get the rest of my money back,,,,

Horrible Rental Property -- Avoid at All Cost

We arrived at the property on check-in day and immediately checked out. Here is a list of reasons why. I contacted the owner/rep about checking out immediately, and it took days to get a response. No apology or anything was given. We were there for the race weekend and had to find a hotel for that night and a new VRBO for the next 4 nights. 1) Mold/Algae on the front steps 2) Dirty Windows 3) Exposed wiring sticking up in the walls and floors 4) Very Dirty grout on the floors 5) Found dirty napkins still on the floor from the previous rental 6) Wash machine had never been cleaned 7) Dirty towel in the bottom of the freezer unit of the fridge 8) Places for smoke detectors but no smoke detectors present 9) Advertised as one king, one queen, and a twin room. Arrived to find one king and two twin rooms 10) The floor was unlevel where the kitchen table is 11) Lots of damaged tile in shower/tub of the 2nd bathroom.

Nice area but property needs work - disappointing!

The home is in desperate need of a few cosmetic repairs inside and out. The property is beautiful and the area is gorgeous for nice walks. There are many exterior doors in each of the bedrooms and it appears the doors do not lock from the inside but they are locked on the outside, these definitely need to be repaired. There are many rooms where wires are just hanging out of the wall and floor, they do not appear to be live, but it looks awful and makes you feel very uncomfortable. Many of the shades in the bedrooms are broken in multiple areas, which meant I put towels over the windows. Speaking of the bedrooms, I believe the room descriptions mentioned one king room, one queen room and one room with two twins, the king room was correct and then the other two bedrooms had two twin beds, we made out okay but many families would be disappointed with the description. One of the biggest complaints that we had was the cleanliness of the home. For example, the tubs were not clean, luckily we brought cleaning supplies with us, but this should not be our responsibility to take care of for the money you are paying to rent the home. Two of the bathrooms had trash in the cans, this should have been taken care of by the cleaning/maintenance crew. Also, the rules of the home state that you should run the dishwasher and make sure all dishes are put back in place before leaving. There are areas where smoke alarms used to be, but they are gone and the alarm system does not work.
