A Classic Waterfront A-Frame on Rowley’s Bay

This Door County a-frame is perfect for hosting 2 to 3 families. Enjoy 3 bedrooms each with a queen bed as well as a loft featuring 4 twin trundle beds offering 11 beds total in the cabin. There are 1.5 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, fireplace, sheets, towels, wifi, grill, stocked with family games, a washer and dryer, smart tvs, firepit, kayaks, and the best part: dogs welcome — everything you could ever need or want for the perfect Door County getaway.

You’ll find shallow swimming and sandy shores for kids and a spacious deck to enjoy watching your kids make memories looking out on one of Door County’s most epic view of Rowleys Bay. Enjoy coffee and a stunning sunrise each morning as you start your day.

Built in 1969, this waterfront a-frame is not short on charm from the wood-burning fireplace, to the lofted a-frame ceiling, there’s just something extra cozy about this cabin you need to experience to understand.

The Point: Our first cabin on Clark Lake that started it all.
When the best Clark Lake property on its own peninsula became available, we knew we had to find a way to make it ours! We couldn't be prouder to be the owners of The Point and share this slice of heaven with you. Think of it as high-end cabin comfort, with more than 1,200 feet of lakefront land and plenty of room for larger groups. Sleeps up to 15.

Porte Haven: Luxury waterfront cabin in northern Door County
Set on a Lake Michigan bluff at the very tip of the Door County Peninsula, Porte Haven feels like you're actually on a boat with views that are beyond spectacular: you see 4 islands, and the Washington Island Ferry goes by every hour. Enjoy an upscale cabin built on top of an old boathouse and hosts groups with a maximum of 6 adults (kids welcome too) and feels very private, but there's also an energy and vastness to all that's happening on the water surrounding it.

Just 10 doors down from The Point, The Bay is warm and inviting, with cozy-chic interiors, a pellet stove and fire pit, shallow swimming for kids by the dock, and an amazing and spacious deck with a farm table and patio furniture to enjoy one of Door County's unbelievable sunsets. Authentic, charming cabin on the beautiful lakefront. The property was clean and cozy. Easy jaunt to town for lots of activities.

Winter at Rowley’s A-Frame

Rowley’s A-Frame is a quaint and cozy cottage in a grand setting. The shore of Lake Michigan provides an incredible view and the cottage with its wood burning fireplace does the rest. The A-Frame has all the modern amenities but does not lose the feel of being a cabin up north. The hosts are the best and make sure you have everything you need. They are incredibly responsive and will even recommended dining an entertainment options if you inquire. Jeremy recommended we rent a wood burning sauna that was delivered and it made the entire weekend! If you ignore Door County as a winter travel destination you are making a big mistake and these hosts will prove it to you!!!

Perfect Lakefront Getaway with Rustic Charm and Modern Comforts

This was our third stay at the A-Frame, and it continues to be the perfect blend of modern comfort and rustic charm. The location is unbeatable, private and peaceful, yet just a short 10-minute drive into town. We've now experienced the cabin across three seasons, and while each one has its own magic, winter might be our favorite: cozy nights by the fire, quiet snow-covered mornings, and that serene lakefront view all to ourselves. The owner, Jeremy, is wonderful — friendly, responsive, and always happy to help without ever being intrusive. If you’re looking for a relaxing Door County escape where you can disconnect, unwind, and soak in the beauty of the surroundings, we couldn’t recommend this cabin more highly.

Relaxing Family Stay in Door County!

We just returned from a peaceful and memorable stay at a cabin in Door County, and we truly loved every moment. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well taken care of, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing family trip. One of the highlights was the kayaks provided—we had so much fun paddling around and taking in the beautiful surroundings. The location was perfect: just a short drive to Sister Bay, but still tucked away enough to feel quiet and serene. The host was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth stay. It was the perfect setting to slow down and enjoy some real family time. Highly recommend!

Great vacation rental

We absolutely loved staying at this property! The hosts were very helpful and responded quickly when we had questions. The beds were so comfortable too. Our family so enjoyed enjoyed the kayaks and the sailboat. We hope to come back soon!

Rowleys A-frame was amazing!

We stayed in the Rowleys A-frame for an adult weekend and had a great time! The place is just what we needed and the view was stunning! Jeremy and Caitlyn have thought of everything and communicate everything you need to know before, during and after staying here. We will definitely be back!

Great trip

We had a wonderful time at Rowley’s A-frame! It’s a charming home with a great outdoor area. It’s a great place just to hang out and enjoy some time by the water while still being only a short drive to Sister Bay. The hosts were very responsive and helpful too. Great find!

Magic moments

Cozy getaway on the lake

My husband and I visited for our anniversary just as the weather started to warm up in the spring. We had a wonderful time in this cozy and private cabin right on Lake Michigan. The view is outstanding, and we were lucky to have our dog with us to wake us up to enjoy the sunrise. The fireplace and lakeside fire pit added to the ambience and kept us warm in cooler temps. The location was very convenient to parks and short hikes to take in the views of northern Door County.

My family came up for a two night stay at the Rowley's A-frame to celebrate my birthday. What an incredible place. Sunrise was second to none. Private beach. Kayaks. Accommodations were excellent, and the owner's were responsive and attentive throughout our stay. We brought our dogs who loved it all as well. Highly recommend!

Awesome A-Frame with an Amazing view!!

Very well kept A-Frame inside and out. Our visit was in February and the beautiful natural fireplace was perfect! The bedrooms and living space are a nice size. We were graced with a bald eagle perched in a near by tree every morning! The lake view is amazing. Lots of great amenities nearby - quick drive into downtown Sister Bay. The owners had great communication throughout our stay. There would be no hesitation rebooking this Awesome A-Frame!

A Beautiful Home Away from Home

Porte Haven is a stunning home with tremendous views and access to many of the coveted Door County activities. It is so close to the Washington Island ferry that you can walk there. The home is very well appointed and has some very nice modern touches that make it comfortable and inviting. Catch beautiful sunrises and sunsets at the Porte Haven. Good access to the lake, too. The host is very friendly and attentive to your needs. Their communication is superb. They have everything you need. All you have to do is show up and relax.

Wonderful and comfortable stay at Rowley's A-frame!

We loved our time at Rowley's A-frame! Jeremy was incredibly responsive and committed to ensuring that we had a great stay. The house was comfortable and just right for our group. And the recommendations in the welcome book were spot-on! This was our first vacation that included our 2 dogs and Roweley's A-frame was the perfect place to bring them. The outdoor area was equipped with two long tie-out runs for tethering the dogs. We humans enjoyed the sailboat, the kayaks, the deck table with a view, and the comfy Adirondack chairs by the water. This is a serene, comfortable, and picturesque spot located just about a 10-minute drive from the bustle of Sister Bay. I can't say enough good things--thank you!

Our new favorite after 30 years of Door County visits.

It’s all about the water...and the quiet! Your A-Frame at Rowley’s Bay is our new favorite for time in Door County! The warm interior wood and beams by the massive fireplace are the way to watch the waves roll in and across Rowley’s Bay. And for the perfect backdrop there’s the classic boats of the fishery on the far side. It’s relaxing just to relate it. As always, Caitlyn & Jeremy have everything smartly appointed and pristinely clean with really everything anyone in the family may want. They really go out of their way to make everything work and us RELAX. Anything we did need was just a few minutes away by Mustang in Sister Bay. Thanks again for your hard work and our spectacular rest!

Perfect Getaway

As a longtime veteran vacay rental person, this one would make Scott McGillivray* proud. The needs of the renter are anticipated and the setting has been honestly presented online. No unexpected "sharing with neighbors" was a nice surprise. The tech is comfortable and appreciated, but not over the top. The towels, linens and kitchen supplies were comfortably used yet fresh, clean and coordinated. The décor was spot on, just enough interest without being overdone (thank you for minimal tchotchkes and lack of themed overkill.) Room size is decent, furniture was comfortable and the view was priceless. Location is fantastic for people who don't want immediate access to the shops and restaurants. Just the sound of the waves and the road to the town park and beach, my cup of tea. Solitude, nature, lake. Owner is available and helpful. (I have never been limited to one sentence, so pick the best one.) *Scott is host of Vacation House Rules on HGTV.

A home away from home

This was one of the best vacations I have ever been on! I went with a group of five friends, and we had the best time, arriving at the A-frame. It was just so beautiful. All the rooms were taken care of so wonderfully, and the view I can’t get over the view if I could live somewhere like that all the time I would! Being right on the water was wonderful, although it was a little cold we did a cold plunge one of the days and it was pretty chilly but lots of fun. The home itself has everything you need to have a wonderful trip so you can cook and not have to worry about things like towels and toilet paper and paper towel towels literally everything is there you need. The first morning the coffee maker didn’t work and it was determined that it was broken, there was a French press in the house, which was fine and did the same purpose, but Jeremy made a point to get us a new coffee maker and replace it, he first offered to Venmo us money for a new one if we went into town and pick one up, then he got one ordered through Amazon, and when it didn’t arrive, he had his cleaner pick it up from the post office and drop it off. I’ve never seen such good customer service ever because in most places it would’ve been like well too bad so sad. I would just say that this is a wonderful place to just come with family or friends and just have a retreat be on the water have a fire have long talks and lots of laughs! Me and my friends are already talking about coming back next year 💜

Rowleys A-frame is a GEM in Sister Bay!

What a gem! This place was a dream! We had a great winter weekend at the A-frame! Perfect setting, amenities, communication and location for our sister bay getaway. Jeremy and his family clearly work hard and are great hosts. Would 100% recommend!

Another amazing cabin!

This was our 1st girl's weekend at Rowleys A-Frame, but as we've already stayed at The Point, The Bay and Porte Haven, we knew we'd love this cabin as well...and we were not disappointed. It was so warm, cozy and welcoming and had all the special touches the other 3 cabins have. We loved our quiet coffee time in the morning, sitting around the fireplace, and looking out at the lake. The location of this cabin is so perfect for going into Sister Bay, Bailey's Harbor, Fish Creek for shopping and dining. But we spent as much time in the cabin as we could as it was so comfortable we didn't want to leave! Our only complaint is that time always goes too fast. We are already planning our next visit...now just need to decide which Door County Cabin Collective cabin we will stay in, as we love them all!

Perfect Door County Getaway!

Rowleys A-frame offers the perfect Door County getaway. The interior was very clean and felt so cozy, yet there is enough space to host multiple families if desired. We loved the rustic yet modern feel of the cabin. The working wood fireplace was a huge plus for us since we stayed in Winter. It is located near many restaurants, wineries, and small shops. However having a fire and enjoying the amazing view may make you want to stay in. The cabin also had working WiFi and a smart tv in each of the rooms. It was a little chilly outside since it’s January in Wisconsin, but we bundled up and enjoyed listening to the waves crashing on the shore, it was my favorite part. We didn’t bring our dog this trip, but love that dogs are able to stay as well and hope to bring her with next time! Jeremy and Caitlyn were great hosts and checked in with us throughout and even after our stay to make sure everything went well and see if we needed anything. Don’t hesitate to book this lovely property, the view alone is worth it!

There’s no place on the planet I love more than Door County. I’m Caitlyn, wife to Jeremy and mama to two girls, Liliana and Addison. My extended family has been vacationing in Door County for more than 100 years, and I grew up making some of my all-time most-cherished memories here.

It’s an absolute dream to now get to share this place with others... Door County is something special—it’s driving distance from Chicago and several Midwestern metropolises, but it’s remote enough to feel like an escape from the regular fast pace of life. You can cozy up by a fire in one of our cabins, spend your days on the water, or explore the specialty shops, unbelievable restaurants, outdoor activities, and delightful wineries Door County has to offer. There’s truly something for everyone in Door County.
