You can also visit Nelson County's 7 wineries, 5 breweries, 3 cideries, and 2 distilleries. Wintergreen has it all!

Three best friends came for a weekend get away. We enjoyed the quiet and comfortable condo. It was a great time to relax, sit by the fire, play games and enjoy friendship.

Unfortunately, there were major issues with the unit: no heat that wasn't repaired while we were there for 3 nights, internet that was not working (issue within unit wiring) with repairman having to return twice as he didn't have needed equipment meaning we had to be present and one of the afternoons the hot water going out. Other minor issues like light bulbs burned out in master bathroom, hair dryer not working in master bathroom and hair dryer holder pulled out of wall, just hanging in 2nd bathrom and light over stove entire casing missing. Felt like we were having to contact host office to try to get things satisfactory really taking away from the beauty that the mountainside had to offer.

The place was nice, very clean. But we had no idea we had to go down 40 steps to even get in there. My friend has MS and that was very hard for her. There were some issues with the building that the owner had no control over, but worked hard to make things ok for us. I read some other notes from past visitors and they commented on the steps as well, that should be included in the description of the condo. We were thankful for a place to stay, but would not go back.

Thank you for such a nice stay. Plenty of room for everyone. Loved having 3 beds and baths. Condo was well kept and had all the necessary items for a comfortable stay. Especially enjoyed access to Chestnut pool. It was immaculately kept.

Great Wintergreen Getawa

We came up over the Independence Day holiday and really enjoyed our stay. First, the hosts are so responsive. Had a couple minor issues to deal with, nothing that could have been anticipated or prevented, and our hosts were quick to respond and get things set right. Could not say enough about their responsiveness. The unit is very big, compared to others in the area. We had four adults and could have accommodated four more. Didn't even use one of the three bedrooms. Very well equipped property with a walk-out patio overlooking the golf course. Great place to bring a pet. The neighbors were so friendly as well. The unit has everything you could want and more. Someone else advised us of the number of stairs required to access the property (55 steps in all), but it was not bad. We felt like it was a good warm up for our hiking outings! Loved the location, good proximity to Wintergreen Village, area wineries and distilleries, lots of hiking paths, and such a beautiful area. we would definitely come again.

Relaxing weekend stay

Great place to stay for a relaxing weekend in the mountains to escape the heat. Greatly appreciated the fully stocked kitchen! It is truly fully stocked, unlike so many rental places which only claim to be.

Awesome place

The condo was very clean, cozy and well appointed. The view of the golf course was beautiful and the mountain was quiet that week, which we were in need of some peace and quiet. My wife and I are already talking about our next trip to Wintergreen and we will likely stay here again.

Perfect Weekend

We had the best weekend! Loved Lake Monocan and Devilā€™s Knob Spa. Also visited Three Notched and Devilā€™s Backbone. Condo worked very well. Beds were so comfortable and we lived kicking back on the patio. Will definitely rent again since itā€™s so close. Thanks for great communications!

For the price point and location. It was a very cozy cute condo. It was very clean, which is a huge priority in my book! This was not a disadvantage to my family because we actually enjoyed it, but there are quite a few steps to get to the condo. So in the event mobility is a challenge I wanted to make sure people knew. The host was extremely kind and responsive. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much!

Very nice get away

Very nice get away, great location! Everything we needed, only downside we got there and the place was 50degrees!!!! It was freezing!!!! Took it about a day for it to get to 65, thankfully they had a space heater. Otherwise place was clean, and I would recommend it.

Enjoyed our stay in this condo. Comfortable beds and furniture. Well stocked kichen made cooking meals easy. We especially appreciated the convenient walk or short ride to the shuttle for sking. You will definitely get your steps in with the stairs from the parking lot to the condo.

The host was very responsive and stay was extremely comfortable! Plenty of room and amenities. :) Was like a home away from home. Thankful we could have our fur babies join us on this weekend getaway. They seemed to enjoy it as well. Only thing would caution is due to the location on a hillside/mountain side donā€™t underestimate the amount of stairs to get to a from the retreat. There were three sets of steep stairs and a walkway exposed to the elements. Plus additional three sets of steps to get to Rosieā€™s retreat. This was difficult to bring luggage and groceries to and from which was a challenge several of our group members. And we had a beautiful snow fall the night before we left making it difficult for the dogs to return to the vehicles. So just prepare accordingly. This was a beautiful location nestled along the hillside with so many warm and cozy amenities make the stay enjoyable. Appreciate the home owner sharing their getaway with us!

Perfect place to stay for skiing ! The accommodations are cozy and impeccably clean, making it the perfect home away from home. Ben was very responsive and kind. This is definitely one of the better VRBO bookings I've stayed at. It was well stocked with all the necessities for cooking. Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying here!
