Loved this home. Kris is the perfect host. House was extremely clean and comfortable. Kris goes above and beyond to make sure her quest are comfortable and happy. The lake view was awesome to wake up to. Kris, Thank you sooooooooo much!!

Our 2nd visit here and we would love to go back again! The house is adorable, clean, and the view is beautiful. Every amenity you could think of is provided. During our 4-day stay, the lake had very heavy algae so we were not able to swim, but kayaking was still doable. Kris is a great host & very responsive to our needs.

Beautiful home and we had a wonderfully relaxing time. Everything was spotless and very well equipped with towels, kitchen supplies and outdoor water toys. The coffee bar and cocktail counter was super convenient. We will definitely be renting this house again!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lake home, fully stocked with everything from s’mores kits to robes & slippers. We appreciated the technology features such as bedside charger cords, sound machines, and Alexa speakers. The coffee station and wine bar area were lovely, and we delighted in the outdoor accommodations including the boats and fire pit with plenty of firewood. This is an incredibly well-equipped VRBO. We loved the lake with marvelous sunset views and the darling town of East Hampton, central to all of Connecticut’s best. Thank you, Kris! We hope to return next summer.

The house is charming, very c!ean and very well stocked. Owner thought of everything. The lake looks clean & beach access is 4-5 houses away. Very much enjoyed kayaking in morning when lake is calmer. An eagle came to visit! The many outdoor areas are lovely. Note for those with mobility issues: stairs in house are steep but there is a railing. Downstairs bath's shower is in a high soaking tub. Downstairs bedroom (2 twins or combined) has no windows but excellent A/C.

This is our second stay at this beautiful Lakeside home. Because it is a HOME.My family is spread out and we all block off some days to come and be together. No outside distractions. We bring our dog, we swim, we kayak, we fish, we paddleboard. We play games (of which there are many), We BBQ and cook and prepare meals in one of the most well stocked kitchen and bar areas you could imagine.The first night, I put on a pair of the comfy slippers left for us, cuddled up on the couch and enjoyed every moment of family time. No TV, although there are many to use and you can connect your accounts, we chose to just “be”. We all need that sometimes. It was lazy days of hanging out. I brought my watercolor art supplies and we had a little fun. Toasted marshmallows and s’mores by the fire. Everything you need is close by. Thank you again Kris for making our trip a special one!

Amazing rental property!! Super clean on our arrival and everything labeled well so easy to locate anything needed very quickly! Host thought of everything to make the stay so comfortable from coffee bar, s’more bar, lots of towels, and a very informative welcome book! Shed filled with life jackets, air pump to blow up our inflatables we brought, and lots of paddles for the paddle board and kayaks. Our whole family and 2 dogs had a blast in the water staying cool from the heat! Air system thru out the house kept it nice and cool to get out of the heat and sleep well. Grilled out every night and so many out door areas to sit and relax! The view of the lake was so peaceful! Even saw the eagles flying over the lake! Our host was very reachable thru the VRBO app as far as questions ahead of our stay and more specific things about the house during our stay! Highly recommend this lake house and we would return with no hesitation in the future!

The lake house was in a perfect setting, right on the lake and the house was fully equipped. Kris thought of everything. The house was very clean and well kept. We had a great family getaway!

Fantastic Property

The cleanest house I’ve ever been in. They thought of everything — coffee station, condiments, plenty of dishes and utensils, large grill, firepit. All around a really great space. This would be my first pick to stay again next time I visit.

Family weekend at Wesleyan Universy

House was beautiful, clean, great location with amazing g views, comfortable beds, great kitchen filled with so many amenities. Stayed with family and friends and suited our group of six very well. Communication with Kris was easy. We will be back!

Fireworks and kayaking

Many family members enjoyed several days of kayaking, while my relaxation was reading lakeside. The 4th of July was a delight, beyond all expectation, with lengthy displays both up into the sky and reflecting on the water, from many nearby properties. We have been renting vacation homes for over 25 years, and this was the most stocked with everything a family could need. What a treasure for a lakeside vacation.

The amazing Lake house

Wow! This was by far one of the best VRBO’s I’ve ever stayed at! The house was beautiful, very clean, and had great amenities. The outdoor area was amazing right on the lake! Fire pit was perfect to relax at and watch the sunset. Kris the host was great, she suggested many local eateries and other activities in the area. If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would. Can’t wait to head back to the Lake House!

A gem in East Hampton, CT

Delightful lake house with great water view, very tastefully decorated in and out. Two beaches very close by and water gear provided. Great lake for fishing, boating and swimming. Lots of outside furniture on several levels with a great Weber grill for cookouts. Our stay there was very pleasant for our group of two adults and two teenage grandkids. We hope to return there in the future and would highly recommend this home.

Great stay on the lake

Loved our stay at this bucolic lake house! My friends and I were visiting for our college reunion nearby, and this lake house was the perfect home base. The lake & kayak/paddle board situation was perfect for those of us who wanted a chill adventure. The house & its amenities were comfortable & offered great relaxation. And the kitchen & coffee area was well stocked. The fire pit was a perfect way to end our evenings just chilling and enjoying the serenity of the lake at night. I’d love to stay there again next time I’m in CT!

The Perfect Getaway!

This was a great location to relax with a view! Although we didn’t have great weather, the house was perfect and we can see the lake from many areas inside! The details in regards to the amenities were impeccable. Loved the bathtub downstairs along with the ability to play spa music on the Alexa which made for a very relaxing bath. Looking forward to coming back in the summer to enjoy the outside amenities. Definitely recommend this location.

Perfect and relaxing retreat on the Lake - Absolutely Beautiful

This was a well equipped gem overlooking the lake. My family of four adults rented this for two nights in order to attend a wedding. The whole place was elegantly decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could want - coffee bar, expresso machine, sparkling wine in the fridge,, and even a station for creating S'mores - yum! The views of the lake were outstanding. We've rented many VRBO's and this was probably the best yet. We will definitely be coming back. Beautiful place.
