Great property, in wonderful shape, killer Mt Adams view, great sunsets and alpine glow, elk grazing outside the house, lots of birdlife, owners graciously helped us w last minute reservation changes, I’d definitely recommend the place,

This cabin was even better than I expected, and the view was stunning. The big decks were great for picnics/yoga/stargazing, the kitchen was *very* well appointed, and there were thoughtful touches like long charging cords at the nightstands. The one mood killer was the bathrooms/showers could have been cleaner.The place was easy to find and access, and Glenwood is close by for supply runs. Shout out to the woman working at the general store (maybe the owner?) — she was very friendly and welcoming.

Birthday Trip

I took my wife here for her birthday weekend, it was great! The house is well stocked with pretty much anything you could want and more. Highly recommended for the relaxation and views.

This property was amazing. The view of Mt. Adams out the front window and from the hot tub was undescribable. There were elk, deer, turkeys, and so much wildlife wandering through the property. Very peaceful.

If you are looking for a place with a beautiful view of Mt. Adams. This is the place for you.Cabin has everything you need. Plus after a day of hiking or driving around the hot tub is just awesome.

Well maintained home with lots of space, beautiful view, and plenty of outdoor adventures for kids. The only issue we had was the thermostat schedule overriding our comfort preferences.

Incredible cabin

We were looking to leave behind our inboxes for a couple of days and just relax. This cabin was quiet and free from the distractions. The views are amazing, the cabin was comfortable and spacious.

Stunning views & great cabin

Our family of four loved this cabin. Similar to other comments, the pictures can't quite show how beautiful the view is. Very well stocked and practical while still feeling like a cabin. Highly recommend!

Beautiful peaceful retreat

We had a wonderful relaxing stay and the owners had thought of everything. We loved the ever changing views of Mt. Adams and especially appreciated the hot tub after long days of hiking. We were lucky enough to see both elk and deer from the window at sunset. Highly recommended.

Beautiful cabin with an amazing view!!!

Absolutely loved our stay at the Glenwood cabin we didn't want to leave!! Very comfortable with epic views and elks in the field everyday! The hosts were kind and inviting! Can't wait to return!! 🏔️😍

Secluded Getaway

Had a fantastic experience. The view of Mt. Adams is amazing and there was a huge herd of Elk that came through on our second morning. Also, loved the peace and seclusion. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to unplug.

Magical weekend

Thank you so much for sharing this gem of a place with us. I couldn’t take my eyes off of Mt. Adam’s which is dramatically framed by the large windows. The photos of the view just can’t do it justice, you have to see for yourself! The cozy details, the fire the hot tub and the kitchen were all exactly what we needed.

Very nice overall stay, the kitchen had a lot of nice appliances, the best view ever on Mt. Adam’s for morning coffee, bbq…. We used the hot tub in the morning and late in the eveningl, clean and cozy. All the rooms were very nicely decorated and good to sleep in. Everything needs for a long vacation was present and in great shape. Very cozy and comfortable house, similar to a Swiss charlait style house. The owner was there when needed, also for tips and advice. Deeply recommend this super nice, quiet, and comfortable house.

My travel buddy and I thoroughly enjoyed this lovely cabin and its spectacular views and surroundings. Mt. Adams, when it made its appearance, was big as life and breathtaking, and the scenic drive we took to nearby Trout Lake in late October was pretty as a postcard. We appreciated the host's good communication and helpfulness. Everything was terrific, except the beds were too soft for us. If not for that, we would definitely be repeat customers. Starry night skies, peace and quiet, and plenty of local wildlife (elk, bald eagles, etc.!)--wonderful!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cabin! The location near the wildlife refuge was peaceful and full of nature’s sights and sounds, and the view of Mount Adams was nothing short of breathtaking. The cabin itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and stocked far beyond our expectations—every kitchen utensil, pan, or gadget you could possibly need was there. They even thought of the little things: extra charging cables for every type of phone and device, backpacks to borrow for hikes, and thoughtful touches for our dog, including toys and cozy beds. It’s clear the owners have put so much care into making guests feel at home. We left feeling relaxed, recharged, and already planning our next trip back!

* Absolutely Perfect Getaway*

Our stay at this beautiful cabin near Glenwood, WA, was nothing short of amazing! Nestled on the edge of a nature preserve, the location was peaceful and breathtaking, with stunning views of Mt. Adams right from the property. The cabin itself was cozy and well-appointed, featuring a fantastic fireplace that made for the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring. The hot tub was a dream—especially under the stars! One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible wildlife. We saw so many elk right from the cabin, which made the experience even more special. If you're looking for a serene retreat surrounded by nature, this is the place to be. We can't wait to come back!

Men's Group, Post-Hike Retreat.

Our Men's Ministry Group does annual hikes on the Pacific Crest Trail. This year, as we finished up near Trout Creek, WA, the Glenwood "Cabin House," as I like to refer to it, was the perfect "go rest and celebrate" gathering place. Our group of guys found comfortable places to sit and talk and gaze at Mount Adams. The kitchen was just right for making a serving meals, and we tried to be extra careful, since the place is so special. This would also be a perfect place for a gathering of one or more families, subject to space limitations of course.

This has been a family home that we've recently opened to short term rentals in order to share the beauty and tranquility of nature and rural life. You'll escape traffic except for the occasional elk, deer and turkey crossings. Enjoy the panoramic view of Mt. Adams and the Glenwood valley from the comfort of the hot tub or sitting next to a fire. If you're an early riser enjoy listening to the elk call or for night owls watch enjoy the stars away from city light pollution. During the day explore the area with hikes, climbing, natural bridges & ice caves or bird watching.
