This review was not for the correct property as The reviewer did not indicate any concerns during their stay. The family booked for this time was receiving a "COVID" credit as the original booking was in December 2020. The pictures on the website reflect the bedding and bed arrangements. The home has antique furniture as viewed in the blue room. The client was also sent pictures via text of the room configurations prior to the stay and did not indicate any concerns. As of August 4, 2022, the property has received over 100 hours of cleaning during our summer rental period.

Our home always receives a positive rating. The guests were notified at the time of booking that the oven was on a waiting list to be repaired as we were waiting for a part. A previous tenant in the summer had dislodged the oven door. We left a counter oven for the guests' use. The stove top is a induction cooking system and is a $5,000 appliance. We demonstrated how to use the magnets and the pots when the guests arrived. We notified VRBO during the summer and put in a damage claim. The oven was repaired this Fall and the technician explained that the door was pulled on to hard and disengaged the Gagganeau temperature system. We are happy to report that the oven takes an hour to preheat and we have enjoyed many cakes, turkey dishes and baking.

Our summer stay guests have enjoyed our accomodations as per our other ratings for 2021 and book our property for the uniqueness of oceanside living. As per our rental agreement for the last 5 years, clients remove their own garbage as our home is located in a rural area and we have pick up every two weeks. Guests are reminded well in advance of their stay. We removed the additional garbage and recycling items for this particular guest as per our arrangment. The return and garbage facilities are within 12-15 minutes of the home and this policy is very typical of island living. In terms of cleaning, a full changeover and COVID protocol cleaning of the property takes a 18 hours of which we have a team of 3-4 cleaners on changeover days that has a timeframe from 11 am to 4 pm. Even further we use natural COVID products and a use HEPA vacuum on all our furniture including the mattresses. We also have a variety of seating on our deck including very comortable patio furniture that have fabric cushions that include two lounge chairs, two rocking chairs, two bar stools and two benches. We also offer a large number of other items. We always appreciate feedback, especially, in a private manner as per the VRBO protocols of our subscription. In the future, we encourage guests to notify of us in advance and during our stay of any concerns so they can be accomodated during their stay.

We appreciate feedback from our guests about positive aspects and areas for improvement. Our cleaners work diligently to clean all items and we will double check their cleaning lists as our home offers a lot of speciality appliance items. We provide extra covers for all our beds and blankets. We strongly recommend to clients to communicate during their stay if they need something that is not up to their expectations. We bought all new pillows for COVID 19 cautions as well as covers for the twin size beds. As per our welcome email, our clients are asked to put the towels in the wash before they leave as a part of exit procedures as our COVID 19 cleaning procedures require us to spray all our rooms with our environmental cleaner and then wash them. Clients are always welcome to express their concern to us and we can accommodate. Our home is a beach house and offers many distinct features for folks looking for a relaxed beach house and beach style accommodation.
