ā€œSalt & Battery Portsideā€ is St. John's newest waterfront luxury vacation home that offers guests front row access to the first sun rise of North America and breathtaking views of the city, the harbor and the narrows of the Atlantic. This stylish and modern home is situated where the city meets the sea and is walking distance to everything that St. John's has to offer and more. Sightseeing, hiking, dining, entertainment and shopping are just steps away. As our guests you will have full and private access to this newly renovated and fully equipped home. The open concept floor plan and oversized windows floods the space with natural light and offers undescribable views. With a top-of-the-line kitchen you can have the option to cook at home or sample Newfoundland cuisine at the array restaurants within walking distance. In addition, the third storey deck is the perfect place to sit and unwind all while taking in the breathtaking views of the city, the harbor and the narrows of the Atlantic (out-door seating available from May to October). With 3 bedrooms (Queen Beds) and 2 full bathrooms this house can very comfortably sleep 6. We can also accommodate parents travelling with small children. Pack n Play and Highchair available upon request.

At Salt & Battery Portside cleanliness is our top priority. Our home is professionally cleaned and all bed linens are sent out to our local laundry to be washed. Our check-in and check-out process is both efficient and convenient. With a keyless entry system you are free to come and go as you please. A unique code for the house will be assigned to you during your stay. Our caretakers are minutes away and we are available 24/7 via phone or email to answer any questions or assist you with your stay in our beautiful province.

Amazing location on the harbour. We loved sitting in the living room watching all the ship activity.Very comfortable beds, great shower, lovely lay out. So easy to walk downtown or hit the signal hill trail.

The location is perfect for view and proximity to walking around St.Johnā€™s Newfoundland. It is beautifully decorated, very clean, and Tracey and Paul are wonderful hosts, and create a wonderful ā€œhome away from homeā€.

Lovely and accessible

This is an amazing property, you can park your car and walk all of St. Johnā€™s as well as hike all the way up to the lighthouse. It is, like the pictures show, right in the harbor, which is wonderful. The boats are running all night, which means the lights are on too.

Wonderful Amenities

The owners of this property have thought of everything! From the Keurig coffee pods to the extra toothpaste, not one thing has been overlooked. The place was beautiful, very clean and had gorgeous views of the harbor. Proximity to downtown St. Johnā€™s is great. Thank you for a wonderful spot to stay on our adventure in Newfoundland.

Amazing House and Location

We loved this house! No detail was overlooked. Plenty of supplies like water, coffee, tp, soap and shampoo. Very nicely decorated, clean and perfect location for walking to downtown. We have stayed at other properties on the battery and this house was our favorite. Nice blackout shades for the bright harbor lights at night. We would love to come back and stay here again!

Well equipped and lovely home

Beautiful spot right at the water. View changes everyday as new boats arrive. The owners are generous with coffee, water etc and have everything available you might need. Iā€™m a senior and was able to walk from George st to this home. Very well equipped. Pictures are correctā€” owner prompt with replies. Great spot.

This is a beautiful home! The house is meticulously decorated. You have everything you need at your fingertips. The kitchen is fully equipped and has coffee, spices, snacks, paper towels, etc. The view is spectacular, looking over St. John's harbour! The location is great! Food/coffee a short walk away and the Signal Hill trail start right there. We were lucky to meet the owners who are so friendly and kind. Excellent!

Wonderful

Special accommodation, great location, felt at home from the first time I stepped in. Fortunately we had great weather and were able to use the deck overlooking the harbour. Everything about the week was perfect. Owners happened to be in the neighborhood that week and helped us with one issue, although they do have back-up if not there. Stocked with everything if you happen to forget something!

Unbelievable place. Beautiful spotless, gorgeous views, everything plus for the things u need. Five stars not enough to express how fantastic the rental house is. Newfies Come Home

What a spot! What a time! It doesnā€™t get any better than this home if you want a breathtaking view of St. Johnā€™s, walking distance to downtown AND the best hike at your doorstep. The home is in mint condition and the layout works perfectly for up to 3 couples. We so appreciated the complimentary coffee and the basket of snacks. The bedding is lovely (bed frames are a bit squeaky though). The bathrooms are immaculate and stocked with basics in case you forgot. We would definitely stay here again. Itā€™s perfect. Thank you so much to our hosts Tracey and Paul.
