Great spot for couple

Great stay at Nauti Mermaids. Unit was very clean. On the small side, but perfect for couple that doesn't need a ktichen on vacation. Small pool out back was wonderful, very relaxing, and great setup for a couple or two person situation in OBX.Thanks Liz & Steve!

Excellent spot for a couple's retreat

This was a glexcelpent central location according easy access to the beach, Kitty Hawk, and the town of Duck. Property is clean and well stocked and the amenities are even better than advertised.

Awesome room with great carpet and decor. 5 star clean and perfect location. I'm hoping at our next sta y there, we will be able to rent the whole house. Also our host had a fensed in yard with heated pool and interchang lights. It was amazing and beautiful . ******

Relaxing stay

My husband and I made a last minute decision to get away and found this property was available and it was just what we needed! It's truly the cleanest property we have ever stayed in and the property owners couldn't have been anymore accommodating. If we could give it more than 5 stars we would.

Wonderful Hosts

Liz and Steve were the best hosts. The King Suite is absolutely beautiful. The pool was great, we had such an amazing experience with the whole vacation getaway. We will definitely be back.

Awesome time

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Liz and Steve are great host. Even brought us a great plate of cheese, crackers and strawberries. Very clean and well taken care of property. We’ll definitely be back.

Felt like home!

Nauti Mermaid was the perfect place to spend a couple of nights visiting my daughter. Liz and Steve have thought of everything! They were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The location was excellent and accessible to dining, beach and recreation. I would highly recommend staying at this property. It really felt like coming home!

The BEST Beach Getaway

If we could give Steve and Liz 10 stars…we absolutely would!!!! This is the cleanest, well kept VRBO we have ever had the pleasure of staying at. Steve and Liz have thought of everything and then some. We had a wonderful time and look forward to many more returns!

Family Beach Vacation

It was such a cozy stay here. Everything was so perfect.The backyard is beautiful as well as the room. Liz and Steve were amazing hosts. They both were so nice. Thank you for making our first time to the Outer Banks amazing with this beautiful place of yours. We highly recommend to stay here. It was perfect for myself, my fiancé, and my 4 year old.

Mama & Me vacation

The property was so clean and Liz & Steve provide everything and anything you will neeed for your stay. The communication was great, Liz was there to greet us when we got there and gave us a tour of the property, my daughter loved the swing set & the pool, was so happy we got to swim when ever we wanted, as a single mom taking her daughter I felt super safe and welcomed. 100/100. We will be back!

Perfect! 🌟🌟🌟🌟

We had the best stay at this property. The pool was amazing and crystal clear, which is where we spent the majority of our time. The backyard was so inviting, the room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed as we forgot a couple of things. This was a quick anniversary trip for us and they left us a bottle of wine and card, which shows how much they appreciate their guests and how thoughtful they are. We hope to be back and meet you guys! They deserve all the stars and more!!!!

An Outer Banks gem!

If you’re planning to travel with just yourself or another person, the Nauti Mermaids is perfect and I cannot recommend it enough! Liz & Steve are easily the best hosts I have worked with - they are very attentive to their guests and do all they can to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible! The house is located in a quiet neighborhood, yet close enough to the main road for easy access all kinds of restaurants, attractions and beach accesses. The suite was very tidy and had all the amenities (plus some!) that you’d need. I am so glad I found this gem and am already looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Honeymoon Bliss

Entered Nauti Mermaids to find a congratulatory card, bottle of wine, and rose petals spelling out “love” on the bed. The room was as advertised: clean, and welcoming. It included many brochures to local attractions & restaurants. A guest book provided reflections of past guests who recommended different sights to see. The heated pool was an awesome bonus. Liz & Steve are kind, generous, and thoughtful hosts. They are a delight to get to know. They thought of all of our needs before we did. We cannot wait to return.

Outstanding Long Weekend Getaway!

This property was immaculate! Everything you see in the pictures and more. The host Liz & Steve thought of everything and have everything on the property that you could need for a long weekend or for even a week long stay. Their place is so clean and quiet I really didn’t want to leave and go back to reality! My wife and I had the chance to meet both Liz & Steve and we could have talked to them all night. They are such nice down to earth people and really do care that you are happy during your stay and if you need anything else just let them know. We will definitely be booking again for next year and more to come. Thank you very much Liz & Steve for sharing your beautiful home with us! The Grudt’s.

We have vacationed in OBX since we were both young kids. We brought our children to OBX beaches almost every summer. We love the beach, river, boating and anything water related. We take pride in our rental units and hope to make our guests comfortable with amenities that will make them feel like they are right at home on vacation. We are available anytime through the VRBO app or cell. We are very responsive to guests and answer all questions promptly.

We want you to pack your clothes and swimsuit not supplies and beach chairs. Our king suite is in a quiet neighborhood with a 2–3-minute car ride to the beach. Walking distance if you choose to walk. Beach accesses are 99% free. We offer free parking at our house. We are close to the beach, many great restaurants, grocery stores, and activities.

We are always looking for feedback from our guests. We strive to help make our guests have a wonderful vacation.
