Our Story: The Breathtaking Views Difference

We purchased our resort property a few years ago with a clear vision: to completely redefine the Gatlinburg group travel and wedding experience.

The property previously operated under the name "Almost Heaven," functioning as an all-inclusive wedding venue where outside services were bundled and marked up. When we took over, we changed our name to Breathtaking Views Resort and completely disrupted the traditional business model to put control back in the hands of our guests.

We converted this wedding pavilion into our spectacular, highly popular 4-bedroom wedding/family/reunion cabin. Instead of forcing guests into expensive, rigid packages, we only charge for lodging. This allows you to handpick your own caterers, photographers, and florists directly—saving you thousands of dollars by paying actual vendor costs.

Booking our flagship cabin allows up to 14 guests to stay under one roof with weddings up to 50 people. When the lodging costs are distributed among the group, the per-person cost drops dramatically compared to booking separate cabins all over town—making your actual event space practically free!

Want a formal catered dinner? Or a casual pizza night by the deck? You have the complete freedom to design your your wedding your way. For larger groups, we also own additional cabins within short walking distance, allowing everyone to stay close while giving some guests a bit of extra privacy.

This cabin is located on a scenic mountain road with beautiful mountain views. It's about 16 miles from downtown Gatlinburg. It is located just minutes from the major attractions, shopping, and dining.

Enjoy any of the several local wineries, or make it an adventurous vacation by taking advantage of all the outdoor activities the mountains have to offer from biking, hiking, tubing and rafting, to scenic driving, shopping, or visiting one of the location events, amusement parks and more!

If you decide to leave your mountain paradise you will find you are not far from the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Hiking at Greenbriar, or all downtown Gatlinburg has to offer. You are also a short back road drive away from the heart of Pigeon Forge where you can enjoy Dollywood, Dolly's Stampede, or Beyond the Lens. So no matter what you are looking for in a vacation.

You will go directly to the cabin to check in.

The kitchen is stocked with what you need to prepare meals and create lasting memories. A romantic spot for stargazing or unwinding after an exciting day is the jetted hot tub on the private deck, which is perfect for cool mountain nights.

The town of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are both easily accessible from this cabin, which is only a short distance away. Enjoy one of those nearby wineries, or turn your trip into an adventure by taking advantage of all the outdoor pursuits the mountains have to offer, including biking, hiking, tubing, and rafting, as well as scenic driving, shopping, and visiting one of the nearby events, amusement parks, and more!

It is possible to book an Uber or Lyft but not guaranteed. You can also find taxis in the area.

Another easy and fun way to get out and see the city is by renting a scooter!
