Canyon Lake, 25 miles away offers crystal clear blue waters with approx 8 thousand acres of water. Put your boat in at one of the many ramps or marinas, rent a boat, swim, fish or kayak! New Braunfels also has the Guadalupe river in town where there is plenty of tubing, kayaking and paddleboarding. Schlitterbahn, a 70 acre water park is within walking distance from the house. Historic Gruene is also just 10 min away if want to visit the oldest dance hall in Texas, shop, experience some live music or just eat or drink in one of the many great restaurants in town.
