Lindon House Ā· Enjoy Mountain View 4 seasons Basement Apt

Utah is SO beautiful with its 4 seasons and big mountain range, and Lindon is right in the middle of the valley! It is known to be quiet, cozy, safe, and very family-friendly. We have 2 canyons that are full of parks within a 10-15 min drive. These canyons are loaded with hiking, biking, and walking trails, fishing or tubing along the river or lakes, campfire pits, and waterfalls! Including the famous Sundance Mountain Resort.

This basement is very spacious, with all the amenities you need! There are 2 bedrooms with queen size beds. Brand new mattresses, furniture, and appliances! Full bathroom with 2 sinks. This house was built in 1957, we gutted the entire home though it was in such mint condition! Before the remodel it was very retro, with wood paneling walls throughout the basement, yellow floors, and blue carpet upstairs with popcorn ceilings! They even had a funky carpet wall! It was a sight to see.
So for the remodel of the basement, we wanted to bring back a little bit of retro by adding quite a few colors throughout the basement and fun design shapes. The yellow chair is my personal favorite!

Guest have their own private entrance to the basement and a little space fenced off for the pets to use in the backyard.

1 car is permitted on the driveway. Please park as close as you can to the fence. Additional cars can park along the street, recommended to park across the street as there is more room.

-We ask that you do not eat on the couches or beds
-No animals allowed on couches, blankets, beds, bathroom rug.
-DO NOT flush- feminine hygiene products, paper towels, baby wipes, cotton balls, Q-tips, tissues. We have smaller pipes as it is an older house.
-The backyard is off-limits. We do provide a small patch of grass for your pet to use the restroom, and ask that you clean up after your pet.
-No parties or events are allowed, including family gatherings.
- Unplug any space heaters, any heaters remained on after check out will be charged $25 per heater.

Pet Guidelines
We love welcoming well-behaved pets, and we want to keep this home comfortable for every guest. Please remember this is a home, not a doggy daycare, so we ask that you help maintain the space during your stay.

Pets are not allowed on any furniture or bedding. Please bring blankets or covers if your pet prefers soft surfaces.

Excessive pet hair or additional cleaning beyond our normal turnover may result in an extra fee. A broom, vacuum, and cleaning supplies are provided for easy touch-ups as needed.

If your pet will be left unattended, we strongly recommend calming treats (like the ones available on Amazon). Many pets experience anxiety in a new environment, which can lead to barking or accidental damage. Your help in keeping the home peaceful and well-cared for is truly appreciated.

It was a very nice place. Clean, beautifully updated, and bright. Basement apartments can be very dark, but they had plenty of lighting that kept the place very bright.

The rooms were not as clean as I would have hoped. There was pink stuff under the bed in the room next to the bathroom, it kind of smelt like laundry detergent. There was also leftover hair from someone in the bathroom and in the kitchen. We truly appreciated your help during our stay. The WiFi kept kicking on and off. We only got Hulu to work. I forgot to logout, sorry about that. Great space for our family of four and location was perfect for all our events. We will be in touch if we come back and need a place!

Clean basement

Great, very clean basement apartment. Close to BYU. Close to State Steet. The only negative was lower water pressure in the shower than I'm used to. Despite that, I would 100% stay here again!

Quaint Relaxing Apartment

This property was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all the pots and pans and dishes to cook and prepare our meals. All the cleaners for the dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, and any where else in the apartment. It is in a beautiful neighborhood where it is lovely and peaceful to take morning walks in the summer, and walking distance from the Lindon Temple.The biggest issue we had was the staircase getting to the basement apartment. The staircase didn't have railing and my septuagenarian mother-in-law struggled to get down and up without one.

Great stay, very pet friendly!

Katie and Spencer are AMAZING. They care SO much about your comfort and enjoyment while staying with them, they checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed, asked if our wifi connection was strong enough (which it was) because they were willing to gst a repeater if it wasn't. They gave us tons of recommendations on places to go for food and activities. They allowed our two dogs AND cat to stay with us and let us check in a bit early since we were traveling with pets. The space is clean and had a washer and dryer, tv, full kitchen, full bathroom, amenities, a small private fenced space for our dogs to do their business, etc. We stayed with them for over a month and while they were always kind and chatted when we bumped into each other, they were respectful of our privacy as well. I can't enough good things about this place. Do just remember it is a basement stay, so it doesn't get too much natural light but that just comes with the type of stay that it is and nothing the owners can really do to make it not a basement. I highly recommend

Noisy, Smelly, Unclean

First I was greeted by a rotting smell in the stairwell leading to the apartment. Once inside it was very cute, but I instantly noticed that it lacked cleanliness. There were dirty cabinet faces, appliances, dishes with stuck on food, baseboards and needed dusting. Lots of spider and beetles. Things go worse when I sat on the sofa which reeked of animal urine as did the room I stayed in. Expressed this issue to the owner who offered to spot clean the sofa. This would have caused a stronger initial smell of urine and left me having to sit on a wet sofa. Since the smell in the bedroom was in the air, it would have done nothing to alleviate that. I told this to the host via text, who never bothered to respond. The host should have offered a refund so that I could have found somewhere clean and healthy to stay. Since this did not happen, I was forced to sleep on the floor my second night since it was the only place that didn't smell like urine. Last, the owners who live above the unit are VERY loud. I stayed for two days- the first night I could hear them all day and until about 10pm. The second night they were using a power saw, hammering, drilling and stomping all over the floor until 1:00AM! Was very upsetting since I could not sleep with all the noise and the point was to get away and relax. Would not recommend!
