The house was clean and served the purpose we needed but really not ideal for 4 people and tall people. The king bed is in the dining room wide open to the whole house. Only 2 spots to sit in the kitchen so cooking and eating at the house wouldnā€™t have worked for the 4 of us. The bathroom was small with no counter space and my husband and I are over 6ft and couldnā€™t sit straight on on the toilet as it was extremely close to the tub!The neighborhood is sketchy. We were there on NYE and the amount of gunfire we heard was unbelievable and we are from STL. Also every night after at around the same time multiple police cars down the street with lights and sirens. Also had to use our own hotspot even though the owner did try to fix that issue but couldnā€™t even get it to connect on their end. We didnā€™t spend a lot of time in the house but when we did it would be nice to watch a movie or something.

The place was very clean and reasonably priced. Make sure the address numbers are correct. Driving instructions had different number. Need to replace metal railing outside with something sturdier

Everything was in order, we only used the home to get ready for a concert and stay the night, but it was perfect for what we needed.

Property was clean and looked as pictured. It was an older home being upgraded some. Could have used more bedding - the were no extra blankets for cold natured people. It had all the basics no extras. We were there 2 nights for a chiefs game and it served our purpose.

The house and property were very clean and nice! It was a cozy little house for just me. I was in KC for the week for work and it was the perfect size. Being new to KC I had no idea of the area and that's my only down about my stay. It seemed to be in a really rough part of town. It worked out great for me but would probably not trust my family to stay there. I made sure to bring all of my tools in at night. No fault of the host, they were great and the house was perfect.

Overall good. Location would be a downside. If only there were a way to know that before booking, but the experience was good. Cute decor and setup. I couldnā€™t get hot water for a shower or turn on the dishwasher or shut the bathroom door. The seal in the kitchen door needs replaced before winter, very clean.

We would stay again! It's not in the best area and the back door was wide open making it hot when we first arrived. When we messaged host, we never got a response. That being said, the place was clean, decorated nicely and had everything we needed. We love concerts and go to starlight often and it was a perfect location for this!

One bedroom was really the dining room, so that was odd. Several properties in the neighborhood were in disrepair, and cars were razzing up and down the street at all hours. It was a quick drive downtown. I messaged the host about a cat pee smell remedy and got no response. The cat pee smell fades fast enough, but you definitely smell it every time when you walk in the door as the undertone to the very strong plug-in air freshener. The place had comfy beds and was clean. I didnā€™t love the mandatory property insurance.

I wouldnā€™t stay here again

The pictures are far nicer than the property actually is. First, being listed as a 2 bedroom is misleading, there are two beds, but one is in what would normally be a dinning room. So there are no doors to close to get any privacy. The floors were extremely squeaky, to the point that it will wake up your partner if you get out of bed at night. In the actual bedroom, the floor vent for the HVAC was too tall so the door would not open, so instead of buying the correct vent cover, it was just flipped up against the wall, leaving a large hole in front of the bedroom door. And it got worse in the bathroom. The bathroom door is not square in the frame, so it would not close all the way. The water from the bathtub ran brown for the first second, the towel rack was not properly installed and was ready to fall off the wall, and the vanity was not actually attached to the wall, so it would wobble if you bumped it. Needless to say, I would skip this one.

Nice place conveniently located near attractions and excellent restaurants especially LC BBQ and Niece's Restaurant. We had weak phone signals and couldn't access the wifi but our host quickly answered our phone call and gave us the check in information we needed and tge redt of tge stay was very nice

Great place

My fiancƩ and I stayed here for a concert in KC at Uptown Theater. The place was clean and accurate to the listing. My partner and I didn't have to drive much longer than 15 minutes for many of the places we decided to visit during our stay, so location was great for us. Communication with the host was clear and easy. We are very happy with our stay here!

Cute but not comfy

The house is very old but cute. It was very clean and super cute decor. Itā€™s listed as a 2 bedroom but itā€™s a one bedroom with the king bed in dining room. The double bed in the actually bedroom felt like a board. I slept 3 hours out of the 2 days. The house is super tiny and not the most comfy. The oven barely worked so it was challenging to get our meals made that we brought. The bathroom was so small and challenging to maneuver in. Also no storage space or anywhere to put toiletries. The stairs to the front door were very steep and hard to get luggage up. The neighborhood was very iffy. We had no issues but itā€™s definitely not the type of area we would normally stay in. It was also loud at night with cars flying through the neighborhood. Overall it was very clean and adorable decor. I think a few things changed and it would be a great option for younger people to stay. Anyone over 40 would have same comments and concerns.
