First, we are definitely sorry about any issues you experienced during your stay.  We would like to clarify communication in your review. We did respond to you and we did call the certified appliance when you reported the dryer.  He did come out, but he told us that whomever answered the door told him that they had kids sleeping and did not want to be disturbed and that he should wait to come back to check the dryer after the check out.  You also had said a neighbor had let you use the dryer in their unit.  We had sent an email to let you know that he was coming.  We would have had the appliance repair person come back the next day, but based on what he told us about his interaction with you, we thought you did not want to be disturbed with the service call and you were scheduled to leave the next day.  When appliance repair checked the dryer the day of your exit, he found that the dryer was, in fact, working, but the start button was sticking and he believes that must have been what caused you to have the issue.  He said he tried numerous times to duplicate the issue of it not actually working, but was unable to replicate it, so he only charged a service call for diagnostics, as he told us there was no repair to make.  The dishwasher was brand new and installed immediately prior to your arrival.  When you contacted us on the 6th day of your stay to say the dishwasher did not seem to have power, after you had used it successfully in the past days, we did contact the appliance repair person again.  He said he did not want to go back because you had already told him to come after your exit.  When he checked it, he found that there was a faulty control board part, not allowing power to the user interface - a warranty issue.  That part was ordered, but has not arrived yet.  He is prepared to install the minute it arrives. Again, we are very sorry that you any encountered issues during your stay.  Service on the Cape is not always a quick turnaround.  There are only two reliable certified appliance repair vendors in the Port St Joe/Cape San Blas area and they can be stretched pretty thin, but we got them there as soon as possible.  It was very unfortunate that he could not check the dryer when he came out the first time. Additionally, when parts have to be ordered, it only adds to the timeframe for a repair.  In a rental, we realize that any interference with time away is not preferable, and we do everything that we can to minimize interruptions to our guests.  Being in business on the Cape for more than 11 years, and managing multiple units, we take every concern seriously and try to communicate and address any issues as quickly as possible. We understand your concern and wish you had contacted us during your stay.  The items you mentioned have been addressed and our cleaning company has addressed the cleaner involved.  We also address propane in our check in instructions that we email. Over the last 15 years with numerous units, what we have found with propane is that if we leave a "spare" full tank at a unit, they disappear.  Further, if we replace the tank at each turn, we are throwing away too much propane, so we developed the policy to notify guests in the check in's that we will reimburse the charge to replace it with the receipt.  We take every guest concern seriously and want to make sure that every guest has a wonderful experience! Hi, We appreciate your concerns and are sorry that you experienced any issues. The cleaning schedule was confused and the unit did not get cleaned. The cleaners reported to the unit within 30 minutes of your call and cleaned the unit. The laundry is done offsite and new linens for all beds were brought in by the cleaners. Due to this issue, we did refund the cleaning fee to you. The dishwasher is not new, but we have not had complaints prior to or after your visit, so we are sorry for any confusion. Propane refills are not done until the canister is empty and we note in the check in instructions that you will be reimbursed for the refill, if needed during your stay. The Cape water did go out the morning of your visit. The issue was Cape wide and was addressed quickly by the water department.
