This 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath townhouse in Barrier Dunes is ready for you to come and enjoy the beach! Unobstructed views of the Gulf from the 2nd and 3rd floors means waking up with a great view even from bed. This home was completely renovated after Hurricane Michael.

The first floor has an updated kitchen and 1/2 bath. It also houses the dining and living room areas. Step out onto the porch with dining table and chairs and listen to the waves while grilling that fish you caught just steps from where you stand.

The 2nd floor has 2 bedrooms- each with en suite baths. Each bedroom has a king bed and 2 built in bunks. Each bedroom has a balcony with Gulf View...

The 3rd floor houses the master suite. King bed, glass enclosed tile shower, dorm fridge and coffee maker means you can start your day on the deck overlooking the amazing Gulf of Mexico.

Super easy check-in, rooms are nice and had room for all of us and the kids. The house is right on the beach so super easy access. Looking forward to staying again in the future

Great family trip!

The unit was very clean upon our arrival and the location was wonderful. We essentially had 3 families staying together and everyone had their own en-suite bathroom which was beyond perfect. The sleeping arrangements were also so wonderful with each room having a king bed. We were very close to the beach and pool which we loved! We would definitely stay here again, no complaints!

Sea Ya, Loved It!

Overall the property was very clean. Beach was only a short walk away as well as the ocean view pool. The gulf views from all of the upper decks were amazing! Stargazing from the highest deck was wonderful! We explored the area more this visit and went to the Forgotten Coast Sea Turtle Center and also the Cape San Blas Lighthouse. Our granddaughters also loved St. Joe Peninsula State Park where they caught and released hermit crabs and live sand dollars. What fun!

Lovely get away!

Beautiful location and great accommodation overall. Loved hanging on the shady deck. Host was clear to bring certain household items in the welcome letter. However, even basics like a sponge or an extra trash bag was not offered. So be sure to bring everything or plan to run to the local store. Home was clean and kitchen was well stocked. Views of the beach, sunsets, and ocean. We would definitely come back again!

Dirty, needs work

Arrived to dirty counters, food crumbs and trash in cabinets. Heavy smell of mildew and black mold viable on air vents. Floors were dirty and showers had mold in them as well. One shower is not updated and bathrooms were very disappointed overall. Linens were old and below par. We washed the bath towels on day one. Furniture had stains and dirty. Carpet on stairs had stains and dirty. Kitchen dirty with stains and rust on fridge, buttons on dishwasher were worn and difficult to operate . Decking was rough with all outdoor cushions torn, old and dingy. Management was nice and great communication but would never rent this unit again. Not worth the price based on interior being filthy. Needs a deep clean and need to be stocked.

great property location but overall cleanliness & kitchen were disappointing.

The location of unit at Barrier Dunes was excellent...just steps from the beach & short walk to the main pool. unfortunately, we got off to a bad start and ate out often. HERE'S WHY- The unit was not clean at check-in (beds unmade & slept in, soiled towels on the floors & counters, sand on carpet and on stairs, and the dishwasher was dirty. So we had to wait a couple of hours for housekeeping before we could re-enter. I honestly don't know what they did other than make a few beds. We had to wipe down everything in the kitchen, and the bathrooms. The first night we ate out because we didn't have time to clean and prepare meal with kids. When we got back to unit we discovered that 2 of the bunk beds did not get clean sheets. On night 2 we also discovered the dishwasher did not work. All the information for operation buttons on front is removed (presumably from years of use) we tried to find a youTube video for help. The kitchen supplies are ok, frying pans were awful. The fridge has broken/missing shelves. Beach chairs found outside under carport were old & rusted. (glad we brought our own) The grill was filthy, propane tank was empty. PARENTS: Bring baby gates for stairwell to ground floor, a high chair/booster, and disinfecting wipes. The water shut off at 9:30 am on check out day was the last straw for me. Pack your car early if you want to shower before you leave. We won't be booking this unit again. I hope they keep their word and refund our cleaning deposit.

Hi, We appreciate your concerns and are sorry that you experienced any issues. The cleaning schedule was confused and the unit did not get cleaned. The cleaners reported to the unit within 30 minutes of your call and cleaned the unit. The laundry is done offsite and new linens for all beds were brought in by the cleaners. Due to this issue, we did refund the cleaning fee to you. The dishwasher is not new, but we have not had complaints prior to or after your visit, so we are sorry for any confusion. Propane refills are not done until the canister is empty and we note in the check in instructions that you will be reimbursed for the refill, if needed during your stay. The Cape water did go out the morning of your visit. The issue was Cape wide and was addressed quickly by the water department. Again, we take every concern seriously and we continuously work to use all feedback to improve our guest's experience! Sincerely, Cindy Trubee Knot Forgotten Vacation Rentals
