The Historical Carrville Inn sits on 25 acres in the Trinity Alps of Northern California. This rural and private setting is the perfect venue for weddings, family reunions, or corporate retreats. Your group will be the only guests at the property, with full access to our exceptional accommodations, including: 9 bed/8 bath inn and 2 bed/1 bath cottage. The Inn boasts a commercial kitchen fully stocked with essentials, a wet saloon, and a dining room that comfortably sits 24 people. The cottage (additional fee) next door has two more bedrooms, a bathroom, as well as a living room and kitchen. Enjoy the grounds including a private pool, lawn games, a firepit and bbq pad, and so much more!

We be Glamping

We had an amazing family reunion. The Inness terrific with a few exceptions. Pool was not available for use and we had wasps and bat droppings in screened in porch. Other than that it was perfect for our reunion. Lots of space to spread out and the bat and jukebox area were spectacular.

Best weekend ever!

I celebrated my wedding weekend with family and friends at the Inn and it was the most amazing time! The grounds and Inn were immaculate! Perfect for our family and friends to relax, party and get to know each other. Dave and Sheri are beyond nice and so helpful! I can't imagine my dream wedding taking place anywhere else! Thank You!

A fantastic place to stay!

Carrville Inn is a fantastic place to stay with a large group friends or family members. Our party had 39 guests. The place has 11 bedrooms in total (cottage included) and many sleeping mats for the young guests. The inn is full of surprises, with a fantastic kitchen (a chef’s dream), it is extremely well equipped, and the bedrooms are charming. The caretakers were fantastic, welcoming and very helpful. We will come back!

Clean and Well Loved

We used this lovely hotel for a corporate retreat. It was perfect! The location is beautiful and just as pictured. The kitchen was wonderful for a large group--there was plenty of refrigerator space and counter space. The beds were comfortable, plenty of bathrooms, and everything was very clean. My team all agreed this was our favorite location in the past five years of doing this event. I would highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a small corporate retreat.

BEST HOUSE EVER

This home is so very awesome with beautiful comfy bedrooms and livingroom with big screen TV and the kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked with everything! We had our family reunion with 13 people but easily accommodates 20. The hugh patio, bbq and 6 person spa were fabulous! Very comfy patio furniture and fire pit was a big hit. Very close to many fun activities. We definitely recommend this property and will be back next summer. Thank you Bob for sharing the Bunker we had a terrific time!!

Wedding weekend

We had our wedding here and it was PERFECT! The grounds are so beautiful we had lots of compliments on the location. Dave was great throughout the whole planning process and during our stay. He was willing to try to accomodate all of my (sometimes extraordinary) requests, and was very easy to communicate with. The caterer was over the moon with their fantastic commercial kitchen and large dining room. We had a great time and hope to come back in the near future!!

Best Wedding Venue in Northern California

The Carrville Inn exceeded all hopes and expectations we had (and we had toured it once before, so our expectations were high). With both families coming a few thousand miles to get to the wedding, we wanted a place for everyone to stay and have a bit of a family reunion as well. There is so much to do on the property that I didn't even explore the surrounding area like I would normally do. Best of all, Dave and Sheri are incredibly nice! They truly want you to love the inn as much as they do, so they go to great lengths to make your experience as blissful as possible

Wedding weekend at the Carrville Inn

My family stayed at the Inn for three nights and fell in love with it! It was quiet, comfortable, immaculate and surrounded by beauty. The bedrooms were charming and comfortable. We want to return for a family reunion in the near future. It it a perfect spot for large gatherings and those who enjoy clean mountain air and beautiful surroundings. We held the rehearsal dinner outside on the lawn and it was the perfect setting. You won't be disappointed if you plan an event there. I failed to mention that the kitchen is amazing too. Fully stocked with every possible thing you could want or need.

WEDDING PARTY

Excellent all around. The place was classic, classy, comfortable, and spotless. The kitchen was large, professional, and well appointed. The rooms comfortable and beautifully decorated.. The grounds were spacious and carefully groomed. The setting was serene. Our group included avid trout fishermen who did quite well. We had the best wedding ever. As father of the bride (and payer of the bill) I couldn't have been more satisfied.

Worth the long haul up there!

I attended my brother's wedding there. It is a trip I will always remember. The owners couldn't have been nicer. While we were there the Direct TV was not working and the cell phone connection was poor, but for my money that was a great thing, because we actually got to talk, communicate, Participate and even play games. They have plenty stored right under the flat screen in the bar. The kitchen was professional grade, the scenery was divine. It was just a great place to get together with friends and family.

A ONE OF A KIND PLACE - FABULOUS

If you are looking for a place for a family get-together, a wedding, or as in our case, a Memorial for my husband, you couldn't possibly find a better place. It is beautiful, meticulously maintained, both inside and out. You find yourself transported back to the days when it was a Stage Stop. All the rooms are beautifully furnished, a kitchen to "die for" as attested to by those who love to cook, has everything you could ever possibly need. You can even gather your own fresh eggs! The old time Bar was the gathering place in the evenings, and the old "Juke Box" got a real workout. The grounds are also beautiful; a large paved area with several big Bar BQ's and a large fire pit. All in all, everything was perfect, and David and Sheri were the ultimate hosts.

Our August 13-16, 2015

Our stay with our very large family reunion was exceptional, beyond our expectations. The Inn was absolutely beautiful, the rooms divine,the grounds gorgeous, the commercial kitchen a real WOW! Our family is comprised of many gourmet chefs and they were in heaven - and so were we as recipients of such lovely meals! Gathering fresh eggs every morning (5 dozen) fed our entire group. We picked bowls of fresh blackberries and apples and made two huge pans of freshly baked cobbler - a five star. I must say the amenities surpassed any 5-star resort or hotel. One must experience all of this to know the difference of bare essentials and lushness. We have already booked our stay for next year. There was a 28 thumbs-up vote of YES to return and we can't wait for next reunion. Dave and Sheri are most wonderful. The are great hosts who were there for anything and everything we needed. One word for the Carrville Inn - magical.

WOW - FANTASTIC - OVERWHELMINGLY AWESOME

We had a group of 40 age 1-60. This inn and cottage has entertainment for everybody. We went in mid July so the pool was comfortable. The bbq area is HUGE! It has 3 types off grill: smoker, propane, a large charcoal. A giant rectangular fire pit along with tables and chairs for about 50 people. The A/C is cold in all rooms while outside reached 95 degree. The inn keepers are friendly and really chill. Although Trinity lake water level is low, we were able to find a spot and two kids caught 3 lbs wild trout. The kitchen has everything. The saloon bar, with jukebox, beverage fridge, counter bar is so cool. The aesthetic decorations is from the western cowboy era which we all found very interesting (dope). It's a huge plus, there wasn't any bugs or mosquitos. This place is secluded enough to enjoy nature and privacy. The only thing that is missing is an air fryer (minor problem).
