Don't miss the chance to plan a dream vacation in this incredible log home approx. 30 minutes from the Wisconsin Dells. Sunset Lodge is also great for anniversaries, family reunions, and weekend getaways. Enjoy picture-perfect sunsets and the following amenities: 4 bathrooms, 6 bedrooms, plus 2 full-size cribs, a youth bed and a sofa sleeper. The lodge consists of a 2-story great room with a fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the lake, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, game room with a pool table and a 2nd floor roof deck. Sunset Lodge sleeps up to 10 adults and 8 children (total of 18 people).

The master suite features a fireplace, private sunroom with and poker table. Master bathroom features clawfoot bathtub, custom walk- in shower, his and her vanities. Sunset Lodge also has satellite flat-screen TV's in the bedrooms, sound system with a CD player, DVD players, satellite internet service and unlimited long distance phone service. An pier, 6 new kayaks, trampoline, picnic tables, grills , an outdoor firepit enhance your outdoor fun and 100s+ miles of UTV/ATV Trails.

Patrick was great at communicating before and during our stay. The house was great for our family get together to celebrate our parents' 50th wedding anniversary. The in-house pool was the huge hit with the kids and kept them entertained the entire snowy weekend, while us adults really enjoyed the outdoor hot tub overlooking the frozen lake. Great stay!

We had the best stay at this cabin. We have stayed once before and are so blessed that the property owners share their home. We traveled with our large family with ages from baby to mid 60's. The property manager has top notch customer service and we felt right at home in their space. Thank you for an incredible stay.

Very comfortable and beautiful place to stay. We went in the cold weather and the view was just as amazing! Pool was warm and fun! Had a blast with a volleyball match. They supply us with towels and everything you need. We didnt know how to use the thermostat and the owner was supper polite and came right away! Would 100% come back curious to see what the summers are like!

We had a great time staying at this place! Plenty of rooms and plenty of beds for our large family. The kitchen is well-stocked and we appreciated the big dining table. The weather was cool and cloudy so the pool was a big winner!!

All we wanted, host provided what we inquired about. Property could use Maintenance on many doors & creaking floors to prevent disturbing multiple guests on the levels below. Enjoyed the stay overall.

We stayed here with our seven children and their families. We loved that there were different gathering spots in the house. The pool was a hit! The beds were comfortable. And Patrick was an amazing host! He responded so fast when we had questions and was so friendly and kind! We are already planning a return trip next year!!

Our family had a great time at Sunset Lodge. Great sleeping arrangements. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots & pans. Plenty of bathrooms. Well stocked with towels, paper towels and toilet paper. The water trampoline and water slide were enjoyed by all, young and old. A great place for a family gathering. Thanks Pat!

Our stay was wonderful! Easy check-in, and well apportioned kitchen. There are enough plates and utensils for a large group which was much appreciated. The property did not disappoint- it had plenty of room and was clean and inviting. The pool was a real hit with the family- it allowed us to have water activities even when the weather was bad. The owner was helpful and attentive when we had questions. The lake view is beautiful, and the dock was convenient for our 2 boats. We will definitely consider it again for a family vacation.

Magical cabin on Lake Petenwell. This large beautiful cabin was wonderful, the six bedrooms were roomy and more than enough for our family of six adults and four children. The property has a dock which you can fish off of, a trampoline and a slide in the water which my grandchildren enjoyed for hours each day. Pat, the owner, lives next door, and he was a terrific host. We were there over the Fourth of July, and he entertained everyone in the area with a fantastic fireworks display. For any family with children this is a great place for your vacation.

This is our 3rd time staying at the Sunset Lodge. Easy check in. We have 3 young ones 2-5 and 8 years old, and they love the indoor pool. It's nice that it is close to Wisconsin dells, that was a nice little road trip.

Family Christmas

This is our second time of staying at the sunset lodge. It is perfect for our family. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of games, beds very comfortable. Owners very responsive and checking to make sure if there is anything we need. Indoor pool a winner!

Fun Property for the family

Wonderful cabin!

Our stay at this Vrbo property was absolutely perfect! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. One of the biggest highlights was the indoor poolā€”it was clean, warm, and such a fun bonus for both kids and adults. We spent hours swimming and relaxing without worrying about the weather outside.The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful, providing clear instructions and great local recommendations. The location was peaceful but still close to shops, restaurants, and attractions. We truly didnā€™t want to leave and are already planning our next visit. Highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with the added luxury of a private indoor pool!

All the space you could ask for

We enjoyed an extended family get together here, and had room to spare. There are plenty of beds for a large gathering. Kids enjoyed the trampoline and indoor pool. The latter was especially helpful as there was pretty heavy green algae in the lake during our stay, although it got better at the end of our time. Kitchen was well appointed, and we took advantage of the grill and firepit outside. Great location for a peaceful stay on the water all year round.

Home away from Home

This was our 3rd time we rented for a week for family vacation. The best place we ever stayed at. Even if you have rain, the day is not spoiled you can swim and enjoy a game of volleyball in the pool, visit an arcade at the Dells or just hang out at one of the spacious areas and play games. A great addition to this rental is the poker room, hot tub and pool table. The hosts are so attentive to any questions you might have. An awesome place to make those memories

Fantastic rental

We loved our weekend stay. Plenty of comfortable beds for everyone. The kitchen was so well stocked. We had everything we needed for preparing meals. The extra refrigerator downstairs was very convenient for holding beverages. The pool table was a hit, plus there were plenty of games and puzzles for us to use. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and the fire pit. The house is beautiful, but the biggest hit was the indoor pool. The kids and adults all enjoyed it. We had so many fun volleyball games. It was a perfect rental for our family end of summer getaway.

Log Cabin in Arkdale

This was our annual family vacation which included 8 adults and 3 kids and is the one time a year we are all together. Home was exactly as pictured, well stocked and right on the lake with beautiful sunsets. As expected pool and the lake with its inflatables were a big hit with all. Most of the group headed into the Dells just one day preferring to spend time at the house. Pat was a great host and readily available for questions. We have never gone to the same place twice but all agreed they would be happy to come back here! Thanks again Pat for a great family vacation, Lynn

The host would not reach out. To be completely honest the home was not worth the money. Everything was damaged. Cold seeping through the walls the sliding doors had a stick and some broken up pieces of a gameboard to hold it shut. One of the sinks clogged in the master bedroom. NO PRESSURE IN THE TOILETS. BOILING kitchen sink water had to get the hang of it because we kept burning ourselves. The stove doesnā€™t heat up properly and 1 broken button. Master bedroom tv never worked thats were the sink clogged and freezing in there. ALL THE COUCHES ARE HOLDING UP WITH BLACK TAPE AND VERY DIRTY. THE DOWNSTAIRS BATHROOM IS VERY DIRTY AND URINE SMELL THE SHOWER WALLS ARE VERY YELLOW understandable that looks to be because the water BUT a magic eraser will get that off! we honestly tried to just make the best of it and not bother the host for example asa sink clogged day of arrival while just washing my hands I let it go and said we can use the other sink watever then my mom was not able to sit one the couches because there the worst i have ever seen so we just sat her on a chair not a big deal then THANKSGIVING freaken oven not working blew my mind cherry on top my parents were so cold in the master with no tv. It was just one thing after another and another and another and another. Im not trying to bash you guys BUT come on knocking on almost 7 grand for 5 days and all these problems is sad. Positive is having the pool but besides that nothing and this home has so much potential
