Great weekend with girlfriends

Spent the weekend with girlfriends and attended a bread making class at Kjng Arthur’s. This home was great….we all had our own bedroom, the place was clean and was well stocked with necessary kitchen essentials. Would stay her again!

The property should not be booked for families with young children or family members with mobility issues. The spiral staircase leading to the upstairs bed and bath is not sturdy and the pony wall overlooking the area from above is very short so it would be very dangerous young children. There is no way to access the property without using stairs. The property had a broken window, several burned out/missing light bulbs, none of the screen doors worked properly, the downstairs shower wouldn’t drain and there was something wrong with the electrical wiring to the microwave making it inoperable. It was also difficult to obtain the correct code to the garbage area and WiFi information. The host was responsive to text questions but we ended up having local staff show up at the door twice to look into issues without any prior notice. Overall the stay was fine but the ongoing issues did not lend to a relaxing stay for a family reunion.

We understand why these features could be a concern for families with young children or guests with mobility limitations, and we’ll share your feedback with our team so we can review how these details are communicated to help guests better understand the home before booking. We’re also very sorry for the maintenance issues you encountered, including the broken window, missing or burned-out light bulbs, screen doors, downstairs shower drain, and microwave. These are certainly not the conditions we want our guests to experience, and we’ll make sure these concerns are addressed. We also apologize for the difficulty obtaining the correct garbage-area code and Wi-Fi information. We understand how frustrating it can be to spend time trying to track down basic information when you’ve just arrived and are trying to settle in. Regarding the local team coming to the home, we’re sorry that they arrived without prior notice. We understand how important it is for guests to have privacy and advance notice whenever someone needs to access the property, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Thank you again for your honest feedback. We truly appreciate you choosing to stay with us.
