New Earth Treehouse Studio with Full Kitchen & Own Deck

Relax in this stylish studio surrounded by trees, keyless entry, full kitchen with island doubles as a work-space, wireless internet, filtered water , shower, 1 queen bed, 1 single bay window bed, own deck. The studio naturally stays cool during summer months.

This is a chemical free space. Our cleaning products are vegan and free of harsh chemicals. Cotton bed sheets, comforters and towels, down comforter and pillows. Organic coffee, tea and sugar.

The studio is walking distance to a cafe by the creek and an organic farm stand. 2 minutes drive or 15 min walk to a great Indian restaurant, as well as an Italian restaurant. 8 min drive to downtown Fairfax, 30 minute drive to the beaches. Lots of walking and hiking trails in every direction.

Building has 2 floors. Listing is on the 1st floor. Guests have the studio to themselves, including the deck where the entry is. However please note that we live in the same building and would like our guests to be mindful of noise levels. Our studio is not suitable for partying. If you would like to play music please either play it very softly or bring headphones. Quiet hours between 10pm-8am. A lot of our guests are nature enthusiasts and some of them visit Spirit Rock Meditation Center.

Parking is on a narrow street that requires you to back into a driveway to turn around. There are 54 steps going up to the studio.

The charming ā€œtreehouseā€ was just that. We had a delightful time observing the stars at night. The kitchen was just perfect for what we needed. The neighborhood was a lovely place for a morning walk.

Summer vacation 2025

Love this studio! Aneka was a gracious host and we had everything we needed for a quiet, relaxing getaway. We were visiting family & friends in Marin where we lived for many years ourselves (now we're in New England). So it was great to be back in the area and to stay here which was near everything we wanted to do and see - just a beautiful location and property. It was a bit challenging to get up the stairs but that wasn't a big deal and gave us some exercise lol. We highly recommend staying here and thanks Aneka for a wonderful experience!

Marin Getaway

This property was immaculately clean, private, and very comfortable. Everything felt very new, as well. I loved the proximity to Point Reyes (where I hiked to my heart's content every day) and also Samuel P Taylor park (also some great hikes there). Sitting in the window seat to read, and, on the last day when the weather was warm enough, out on the deck was a real treat. It did feel like a treehouse - great views, lots of green outside the windows, and completely private. I had all I needed in the kitchen for simple meals and enjoyed the French press for morning coffee. I had a great stay and would be very happy to return - thanks!!

Very nice property, clean, pictures are accurate and studio was as described. Comfortable space, comfortable bed and pillows. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Host communicated well with instructions, as well as providing phone number if needed.

Quiet comfortable forest retreat

Quiet sweet space

We planned a 3-day weekend to hike in Point Reyes National Seashore and loved our stay in this quiet and clean space. The decor is thoughtful and there's plenty of space to unpack and store clothes, food, toiletries etc. The shower is a tight squeeze and a small challenge, but otherwise we loved the setup of the studio apartment, especially the window seats. Mattress is quite firm. Comforter and pillows are cozy. If you find you need any essentials, the host is responsive and helpful!

Enjoyed our time!

My partner and I greatly enjoyed our time at the treehouse studio! It was a beautiful and quiet place to relax, work, and think. The studio was clean and well-furnished, and we found everything we needed. We enjoyed the local farm stand, cafe, and restaurants as well.

Modern elegance

The studio gives the impression of modern elegance. It is comfortable in every respect with a state-of-the-art kitchen area and shower. The host(ess) was extremely accommodating, even purchasing a powerful fan (there is no AC) for relief during a record-breaking heat wave. I arrived via public transportation and was relieved to find a roadside fruit/veg. stand (with wine and liquor, frozen foods & other groceries) at a 5 min. walk, a "down-home" cafƩ with excellent coffee practically around the corner, and a grocery/deli with prepared food at a 10 min. walk. You should know there is a 53-stair walk up to the platform that houses the room and deck (with table and chairs). The State Park is about a 10 min. drive. Highly recommended.

Wonderful experience!

My friend and I stayed with Emrys for three nights to hike and kayak around Tomales Bay. Our stay could not have been better! The studio was exceptionally clean, the views of the surrounding forest are spectacular. I especially loved sleeping on the window seat and waking up to see deer on the hillside below. There are several restaurants, a market, and a fruit stand nearby, and the neighborhood is very walkable. Bonus: wild blackberries abound! Check in was easy. and Emrys is a most gracious host. I would definitely stay at this little sanctuary again.
