The space
Follow @SongbirdStudioVT on IG for video tour, perfect day itineraries, local tips, and more on the history of the Music Recording Studio. The studio is a standalone 400 sq. foot guesthouse/tiny cabin tucked away on the backside of Lake Eden.

The Bed
Relax in a cozy queen-sized Bear mattress (Non-toxic, certified clean mattress- made in America), rated best for athletes by Sports Illustrated. Fall asleep on 400 thread count cotton sheets.

By booking your stay at Songbird Studio VT, you'll be supporting the local economy, as we use professional, local cleaners & laundry service. In addition, 5% of proceeds from your booking go towards the local community (split between the Lake Eden Association to help protect Lake Eden & the recovery fund for Vermont towns impacted by flooding). Eco-friendly soaps and cleaning products provided, in addition to recycling and composting bins.

You have access to the studio, your own private lakeview deck, & lakefront area.
Other things to note
No Pets Allowed
A dog lives at the property next door. You may hear her bark in host's fenced-in yard next door.

Temperature:
There is no air conditioning in the studio, however northern Vermont usually stays pretty cool during summer nights. There are two ceiling fans (one inside one out). There is heating in the winter.

Best for:
Comfortably houses two people. Not suitable for small children nor animals.

Shared Space:
The Songbird Studio VT has a shared driveway with the main house which is approx. 150 ft from the studio. There is space for up to two cars.

Lake Access:
The studio is all on one level but there is one step on the porch. In order to access the lake you need to go down a steep hill.

Internet:
The Wifi is usually more than enough to stream (around 40 Mbps), but this is a rural area so it cannot be guaranteed.

Cell Service:
There is a cell tower at the end of the road. Service can be spotty throughout Vermont, depending on your service provider. Turning on WiFi calling is recommended at the studio. Downloading Offline maps is recommended for getting around.

Road:
The studio is about a ½ mile down a dirt road; winter tires or traction tires are recommended during the winter.

Fire:
During burn bans issued by the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks & Recreation, the firepit will not be available.

Early/Late check-in/out:
During the busy, summer high season we are not able to offer early check-in/late check-out.
