Perched on a sun-drenched bayfront meadow, this family-friendly, east-facing home located on Camano Island, WA is an idyllic escape for families or friends looking for an adventurous getaway. Outdoor enthusiasts will fall in love with this location, which offers great opportunities for everyone. The Cama Beach Historical State Park, Camano Island State Park, Camano Island Staircase, and Camano Island boat launch are all within six miles of the home. You are also within a quick walk to the beach with a kayak and canoe dock!

Enjoy beautiful sunrises and gorgeous views of the majestic mountains and the serene bay from your wrap-around deck and lawn, where you can also dine alfresco, grill to your heart's content, and watch the sun dip below the horizon while you revel in the cool evening breeze. There is nothing like starting your day with a cup of coffee on the deck in the morning! The fully-equipped kitchen offers everything you need to whip up delicious home-cooked meals during your stay, including a beautiful Keurig coffee maker. The open floor plan and its wall-to-wall windows allow you to admire splendid views from the comfort of your sofa. Spread out comfortably in the living area and stream a favorite series or movie on the smart TV while munching on your favorite snack. This property is also ideal for snowbirds looking to bask in the year-round moderate temperatures of Camano Island.

THINGS TO KNOW
This home does not offer beach access. There is a high/steep bank waterfront, which does not allow guests to walk out to the beach right away. There is beach access less than 1/4 of the home.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

Beautiful view

Very comfortable stay. House was clean and had everything we needed. We were visiting family on Camano Island and this was perfect. Our two teenagers loved it. The view was spectacular.

A home away from home

This house was great! Beautiful views, comfy beds, and plenty of space for our group of 5. The only thing that we said was that it would’ve been nice to stay longer so we could’ve really enjoyed the space as we were only there for two days. It was a great stay!

Great place to stay

Very comfortable beds. Beautiful view. Lots of great restaurants close by. The only bad part was one shower had a very slow drain, the other did not have good water pressure. All and all very comfortable stay. :)

The house was just as described. Any little issues that we had were taken care of promptly. Stores are convenient and the beautiful view of the water was enjoyed as often as possible.

It’s an old house that has been maintained very well. Three spacious bedrooms, a nice kitchen with everything you need for cooking and more. And a nice living room, dining room. The deck is gorgeous too. AC works perfectly

Bayfront stay

The property was beautiful overlooking the lake and had all the amenities we needed. The only disappointment was that the property was not cleaned from the last guest when we arrived and we expected two double beds in one of the rooms but found it had a bunk bed instead. The cleaners were only able to come in and clean the following day.

Camano Island August 2023

The property was as described. The inside was nicely furnished. The view from the deck was spectacular - the Sound and Mountains and sunrise were visible while sitting comfortably on the deck. The only hitch was a light problem in the master bath, which was addressed the next day. I would return to Camano and stay here again.

The view was worth the subpar house

The view is wonderful and makes up for the house not being that great. It is old and not updated. The master bath had holes in the walls and mismatched paint and wallcoverings. It was also very small. I might consider staying here again in the summer. We spent time on the large deck even thought it was winter.

Property needs a little love.

Property is in a great community and has a great view. There are a few problems with this property. Half of the house's foundation is sinking so lots of broken tile on the floor, the exhaust vents in the bathrooms don't work and there is a bad ant problem. I wasn't going to post a review for the property but Vacasa has sent me 5 emails requesting a review.

However, we sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced during your stay. Please know that the homeowner is aware of the flooring issue and are scheduled to replace the broken tiles by the end of September, after the summer season. Regarding the exhaust fans in the bathrooms, we were unaware of the problem, but we will arrange for someone to assess and fix them promptly. We appreciate your patience with the ant situation. Pest control was conducted during your stay, and it can take a day or two for the treatment to show full results. We can assure you that there are no ants in the home now. Thank you again for your input, and we hope to welcome you back for a more pleasant experience in the future!

Not bad for a long weekend....

The house is old, in a very quiet area, with a gorgeous view and very peaceful. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking, thought very old from pots and pans to cutlery. Needed extra washing in order to use them. Very disappointed to not have a coffee maker. They have a keuring machine, but no coffee for it. That was a major problem to not have coffee for 4 days. And was difficult to get in touch with someone to discuss late check out.

Laid Back Location

Our family was looking forward to having a great stay especially with all the positive reviews. The house itself was large and comfortable enough for the five of us. I just wish there was better attention to details such as cleaning. The chairs and table were greasy, one of the seats had old dried up food, fruit flies all over the kitchen, and one of the cups actually had a lip print on the glass, and no one cleaned under the sofas. Instead of being able to relax, my husband and I drove to a nearby Walmart and picked up cleaning supplies as well as blue tape (there was a panel in the bedroom wall that was not secure and the screws would not stay in). We also went to the nearby hardware store for fruit fly traps. I did more cleaning than I thought necessary for what is supposed to be a chance to just kick back and relax.

Beautiful Getaway but too many insects

The home is old but the view is priceless! I had to clean immediately when I entered including sanitation and insect spray. There is a horrible ant infestation that even after I thoroughly cleaned and sprayed, they would return in abundance. The outlets and tv in the main room are ancient and the water pressure isn’t great. The tv is smaller than a child’s, no lamps and scarce amount of outlets to utilize. Oh did I forget to mention how relentless the ants are in the home? They come through open cracks and holes in the wall. Especially in the bathroom where there is trimming missing around the outlet, they literally come out like a whole farm regardless of spraying. Beautiful views and gorgeous community
