Watch fog roll in from nearby Lake Persimmon, creating a magical start to your day.

The main floor offers a fully equipped chefā€™s kitchen, a welcoming living room, dining area, and a queen bedroom with another full bathroom. Step outside to a wide open-air deck with plenty of seating, a gas firepit, and stunning mountain vistas.

Adjacent to National Forest land for privacy, the property boasts a fantastic outdoor dining area with a gas grill, wood-fired pizza oven, seating for six, and picturesque views of forests, mountains, and wildlife.

The lower level is the entertainment hubā€”play pool at the bar, enjoy a movie in the cozy living space with popcorn and DVDs, or roast marshmallows at the outdoor fire pit with s'mores supplies. Another queen bedroom, full bathroom, and a queen sleeper sofa accommodate guests comfortably.

Great Place!

This was a great house/cabin with everything you could possibly need. Quiet neighborhood a bit outside of town. Made us feel like we were really on vacation but close enough to run in to Murphy if we wanted. Great downtown also! Would stay again!

Our 4th of July Getaway

Our stay was wonderful!!! The cabin was very clean, well decorated and sticked with things we might need. My best part was the area around the kitchen and livingroom. No TV or radio, so there was no distraction........ family stayed in that area and played cards, laughed and ate.Had a great time playing 8 & 9 ball down stairs also. Great place for great memories and will definitely go back

Cozy, Spacious Mountain Cabin

We loved the location, the view and how spacious the cabin was. The owners were informative prior to the stay and were always available if we had any questions or needed anything once onsite. It was a very enjoyable stay and we will consider staying here again in the future.

Fantastic cabin and hosts

We had a blast! The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed and then some! We played pool and watched movies and i can not say enough about the gorgeous view from the bed every morning and evenings.

Spring Glamping trip

Beautiful cabin in Murphy, NC. The views were amazing, the cabin had wonderful amenities including a popcorn and sā€™mores bar area, a pool table, hot tub and fire circle. The kitchen was very well stocked in regards to pots and pans and the beds were extremely comfortable. We had a wonderful time!

2025 Spring Break - MI and MASS to NC

We had an amazing stay. Directions and communication from the Matt and Dana were perfect and the house was just as it looked in the pictures, the view morning, afternoon and evening was stunning. Pictures don't do the view justice. The amenities like the Hot Cocoa bar, Smore's bar, hot tub and pool table were perfect. If we are ever back in the same part of the state, I'd opt to stay again. :)

A Great Cabin - Can't Wait to Stay Again!

This was a great place to stay for a romantic weekend, but I'm sure families would enjoy it just as much. Everything was as described in the listing, so check that out - great views, plenty of cooking areas, a comfortable hot tub, fire places, and a well-stocked kitchen. Me, I'm hoping to come back when it is decorated for Christmas, as it already looks halfway like a Christmas Cabin in a Hallmark movie - I can't wait to see it when fully in Christmas mode!

The Perfect Getaway

My family loved the amenities of the cabin, the proximity to fishing, hiking, and rafting, and the sense of privacy offered. The view from the property is spectacular, as advertised. The hot tub is nice, but the real fun was had around the pool table on the lowest floor and on the rapids of the Ocoee nearby. Loved our stay and loved the property.

Great honeymoon!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon. We had a wonderful experience. The place was represented well online and was very clean compared to other rentals. The host was responsive and accomodating. Check in was a breeze. This was the perfect spot for us and we plan on visiting again with the rest of the family.

Peaceful Retreat

This property has stunning views and includes all the little extras to make you feel right at home. We were amazed at the cleanliness and the attention given to guestsā€™ needs. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated for the season. The large decks allowed our family to gather and enjoy the beautiful mountains. We loved sitting around the gas patio table. The hosts were extremely responsive to our questions and provided great trip suggestions. Our family would be happy to stay here again.

Perfect cabin

We had the best time. The cabin is so spacious and well stocked and the view was incredible! The hot tub and fire pit were great as well as the pool table. The owners have thought of everything. Kitchen well stocked and the kids loved the numerous movies and popcorn maker. Beds were so comfortable. I highly recommend this cabin.

The views at this location are truly spectacular! We really enjoyed the wraparound deck. The hot tub was great. The kitchen was usable and it had a lot of wonderful counter space as well as lots and lots of gadgets. We loved using the fire pit on the deck. We also loved sitting at the outdoor table. Itā€™s currently decorated for fall and itā€™s so adorable. This home has plenty of space to stretch out both indoors and out. Itā€™s also set up well, with a bedroom and bathroom on each floor.The hosts were very easy to talk to and checked in on us without being intrusive. They definitely supplied everything that we needed, and more!The property itself is gorgeous and relatively remote. We did hear some construction noises from the neighborhood behind us, but it wasnā€™t too loud and theyā€™re definitely werenā€™t people around near us. The trail off of the driveway goes down to the lake and thatā€™s a wonderful journey.The town of Murphy, North Carolina is really cute. Itā€™s been growing, and thereā€™s a restaurant under new management called Poor Parsons Pub, that was spectacular! Their steaks are amazing and their service is too. I also canā€™t write a review without mentioning Crafted Dough. Itā€™s a donut shop in downtown that is only open for a few days a week in the mornings. 100% worth the trip.Overall, this yearā€™s mountain cabin was our favorite and we do, every year! You should definitely take a look at this cabin if youā€™re wanting something special for your next vacation.

Excellent getaway spot

We very much enjoyed our stay. Exactly what we wanted, middle of no where, place to relax and enjoy family time. Loved the pool table and corn hole and of course the view. Only small suggestions i have would be warn people there is no filtered water for drinking. and maybe leave instructions on how to use the indoor fireplaces. Also hot tub may need some maintenance, would not stay above 94Ā° with cover off. Other than that was perfectfireplaces. Wa

Beautiful, peaceful, secluded, luxury cabin

This cabin has 3 floors and everything you need to enjoy your time away from the hussle and bussle of life. Whether you want to enjoy a bonfire or the hot tub, a game of pool, or a movie- grab some pop corn from the pop corn bar or make some smores using stuff from the smore bar or play a game of pool or cook a beautiful meal. 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms makes for plenty of space plus a pull out couch and full size cot. It does get chilly downstairs and warm up stairs but that can be adjusted with fans or blankets. The outdoor firepit is a little rusted because of exposure to the weather but those are little things in comparison to the beauty and peace you can experience here. We will be back and we loved our stay and the owners were very nice and responsive!

Breathtaking Views and Vibes

Matt and Dana were excellent hosts! The cabin was clean and spacious, inside and outdoors! We loved the starter stocked kitchen, it worked well for making dinner one of the nights. We enjoyed eating outside at the dinner table on the porch. The location was a great hideaway but lots of neighbors to not feel alone, and not far from the downtown area. (Downtown Pizza Co.was a great choice). Wifi was perfect since cell service was spotty. The kids loved it and enjoyed loft bedroom, hot tub, pool table, and fire pit for smores, just as much as we did. There are many things to do and Matt and Dana made sure to give us plenty of ideas and options. We will visit again! Thank you for sharing your lovely home!

Access to property review

The property/house itself was nice! The access to the property is one way in and one way out down 1.5 miles of large black gravel mixed with NC clay before arriving to the house. The driveway is so steep you need an all wheel drive vehicle or 4x4. No trailers over the size of 10-12 ft will be able to reach the property. Barely any room to turn a car around let alone a truck at top of the hill by house. Not motorcycle friendly at all unless you have a enduro style motorcycle! Beautiful house and scenery just with limited access!

Every room was decorated for Christmas even the bathrooms.The views from the Loft bedroom were spectacular and I loved how there was no tv in the living room and only in the loft and downstairs game room.We actually watched our kids unplug for a few days!The Game room was great place to watch foot ball and shoot some pool and of course the Hot Tub was great!.Linens being provided was a big plus.The town is about 30 minute drive with ample stores and dining.The only issue we had was the gas grill had seen better days so we had to switch our dinner plans a little.The management company was attentive but not intrusive with just the right amount of "checking in".We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely view and amenities

The home is very homey and has absolutely gorgeous furnishings and decor. It was decorated for fall and am sure it will be for all holidays. There is a lovely view from the main floor and from the back deck where there is a small fireplace. There are lovely gas fireplaces on lower and main level. The only disappointing problem we encountered was that the propane tank was dead empty after 9 days of our 14-day stay so by the time our family arrived for the second weekend we had no use of either of them for their whole stay. We contacted the owner on Friday but he said he was unsure propane people would come on weekend. Said he would send his handyman to start it who did not come till Monday night ( immediately confirmed empty) and our family was gone and we had to leave the next AM. The owners were concerned about our comfort but our favorite part was the lovely fireplaces we could not use. We knew the tank was empty. The weather was warm when we were there so we used the outdoor deck a lot as well as the grill and outside dining table. We did not use the huge hot tub or outside fire pit. Pool table is nice and on lower level which has popcorn machine and s'mores fixins as well as games and movies which is a great touch. No TV on the main floor. Has kid-friendly things like railings and chairs in the main floor closet for families as well as a roll-away bed and blow up mattress on the lower level. The gates on the porch were nice for keeping our dog contained.

This property truly is our second home, and we are so honored to share it with others. The views and the peacefulness are a balm to the soul. This is the quiet side of the Smokies- 180 degrees different from the tourist bustle in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We do everything we can think of to make our cabin a wonderful experience for our guests, and we hope you love it!

We have fully equipped the house with everything we want in the comforts of home. We are foodies, so the kitchen has everything you could think of including all pots and pans, baking dishes, muffin tins, marshmallow roasters, mixing bowls, tupperware, air fryer, crock pot, Keurig and regular coffee makers... everything. There is also a propane grill, a wood fired pizza oven, hot tub, pool table, board games, cards, a wood fire pit, a gas fire pit, 2 gas fire places, corn hole, and outdoor dining.
