Immerse yourself in serenity. The lake house sits on 33 acres of friendly forest that can entertain all. Complete with a six-person open-air hot tub, a grand fire pit, wooded trails, and a private 1.5 acre lake with island and floating dock for fishing, exploring, or bird-watching, this is the perfect location for your romantic getaway or family adventure. This hidden escape is only a short mile from the gems of West Baden, the French Lick Resort & Casino, and golf courses.
The space
Construction completed in 1/2023, this "Barn-dominium" style two story home has a stunning three-tiered glass front that embraces the views of the lake, forest, and wildlife. Accomodating up to six guests, there are two upstairs bedrooms and a cozy loft with a panoramic view from above. Bedroom 1 has a Queen bed, Bedroom 2 has two Queen bunk beds, and the loft has a convertible euro-lounger. This peaceful retreat has all modern and top tier amenities to enjoy in total comfort and unique style. All-new furniture and mattresses, gas and electric appliances, gas fireplace, fiber optics internet w/mesh WiFi throughout. The forest is certified by Indiana's "Classified Forest & Wildlands" program. Enjoy the 3/4 mile hiking trail with benches at scenic stops along the way.
Guest access
Guests are welcome to private enjoyment of the home and walking trail surrounding the aprox. 1.5 acre lake. Note that a downstairs bedroom (un-occupied) is not included in the rental.

The house was beautiful inside and out. The property is perfectly tucked away, but less than a 10 minute drive to the grocery store. The host made all the preparations so everything was beautiful & ready for our arrival, was even kind enough to leave snacks & smores.

The house was very clean, everything needed was provided plus extras like sā€™mores, snacks, coffee, fire starter, laundry products, etc. They thought of everything.The house & property is a beautiful, secluded place. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking to visit this area. You wonā€™t regret it.Itā€™s conveniently located to the winery, stores, restaurants and casino.Jason was great to work with, very responsive and quick to address any concerns.

We absolutely loved our stay! The secluded location felt whimsical and peaceful, perfect for a family getaway. We enjoyed so much relaxation between the hot tub, the beautiful scenery, and fishing right on-site. It was also a great locationā€”close to all the French Lick and West Baden attractions while still feeling tucked away. We will definitely be back!

Exceptional Property

This property was one of the nicest VRBOs we have yet to stay at with great attention to detail. Itā€™s a great combination between a cabin and modern living. The location is perfect with less than a 4 minute drive to the French Lick hotel. We will be staying here again in the future.

High end stunner

The property took full advantage of the spectacular setting with stunning views. Every detail on both the interior and exterior was masterfully executed. Luxury in convenient but secluded location. The home was immaculate with high end finishes and appliances (w/d was a great blessing). We loved the lake, except for the aggressive little fish that nibbled too much for us to enjoy swimming. It would be nice to have a second full bath, but having the 1/2 bath on the main floor and one in the garage helped. Our host was extremely helpful and obviously takes great pride in this stunning property.

We loved the place that we stayed in. Our kids got to feed fish right in backyard and watch them jump. Both my sons caught and released a fish for the first time! The place was perfect. It was clean, very accommodating, and had everything one would need for a getaway. We will book again for sure. We made great memories. Thanks for sharing your wonderful place with us!

Beautiful house

We had a wonderful time celebrating my sonā€™s 10th birthday on a long holiday weekend. House was beautiful and host gave us a list of many recommendations in the area. The only problem we had was that there were only 2 bedrooms. It was listed as 3 bedrooms. The third bedroom is locked and inaccessible by guests. There is a den with a futon on the second floor which worked, but was looking forward to 2 separate bedrooms for my 4 children. Otherwise, wonderful property !

Worth Every Penny

The location is perfect. Just a mile or so from the casino and hotels, but in a remote slice of natureā€™s paradise. I will go back and would recommend this to anyone considering a trip to the area!

Amazing secluded property

Jasonā€™s communication with me was awesome, super responsive. The house literally took my breath away, you donā€™t realize how truly big it is till you get inside. It was very clean. Lots of amenities and goodies. Beautiful backyard space. Jason and his wife are amazing and Iā€™m so grateful we got to book the place!

Wonderful and relaxing getaway.

We had an amazing experience! We enjoyed the hiking trail, fishing in the lake, using the putting green, relaxing in the hot tub and sitting by the fire. The property is extremely well kept and the hosts thought of everything- they even left us supplies for sā€™mores and campfire popcorn. Jason is very communicative, responsive, and helpful with ideas for things to do in the area. We highly recommend this property and definitely want to stay here again in the future.
