Butler Manor Carriage House, Deluxe Apt on Historic Estate w/Spectacular Views!

Butler Manor Carriage House is situated on a mini -estate that is on the National Historic Registry. It is self-sufficient , Solar powered apartment surrounded by gardens, beautifully set-up for a professional retreat to work and play. This one-bedroom/one-bath cottage is a premier example of Elizabethan English Tudor architecture with approx 840 square feet living space. It is 15-20 minutes to Snowbird, Alta, Solitude and Brighton ski mountains -- 30 minutes to Park City, Canyons, and Deer Valley , 45 minutes to SUNDANCE. And Just 15 miles to downtown SLC.

Amenities include a large Deck with spectacular valley and mountain views, Fireplace, hardwood floors, gas range, stainless appliances, cable TV, DVD, wifi, BBQ grill, , Laundry facilities, free parking, outdoor shared Spa with Fire Pit in the garden

The carriage house is surrounded by a half-acre English garden with a fruit orchard and a 360-degree panoramic view of Salt Lake City and the Wasatch Mountains.

The home is within 1/4 mile of Cottonwood Recreation Center, where you can enjoy indoor and outdoor swimming pools, ice skating, racquetball, a fitness center, tennis, pickle ball, classes of all kinds and more fun things to do. It's also within walking distance of ski rentals, a grocery store, drugstores, and several restaurants.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE LOFT BEDROOM WITH QUEEN-SIZED BED IS ACCESSIBLE BY A PULL-DOWN ATTIC LADDER AND THE LIVING ROOM HAS A COMFORTABLE SOFA BED WITH A DOUBLE MATTRESS. The shared outdoor hot tub, in the garden is delightful for sunsets, and you will always privacy when using it; bathing suits are required. Finally there are two very sweet dogs on the property which belong to the main house and share the yard. If we have agreed to a dog prior to your arrival, he or she will need a leash and we do require that you clean up after him/her.

Additional services like in-house massage therapy, snowboard/ski coaching/guiding, housekeeping services and childcare, etc. are available. Please inquire and we will be happy to connect you with our favorites.

My wife and I spent our “mini-moon” here for the weekend and wish we had more time to stay longer! You’d be very hard-pressed to find a place with better views, more thoughtful accommodations, and cozier vibes! The host was very responsive and generous, and we were so impressed with the entire property!

We stayed at this location for a month and it was wonderful. It's a beautiful location with amazing, serene views. All appliances worked great and the location had everything we needed for a comfortable, long stay. Property management communication was excellent and helpful. Would absolutely recommend!

A Slice of Heaven

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay on the way to Boise. The place was immaculate and very cozy with beautiful views of the city. I will definitely stay here again when I'm passing through. Oh they have pear trees also, my dog really enjoyed those after she realized it wasnt a tennis ball.

Three of us fit comfortable and happy in this cozy mountain loft overlooking the Salt Lake Valley. We had everything we needed and the owner/manager were incredibly accommodating. Cant wait to return!

We hiked in several of the canyons outside Salt Lake City which were easily accessible from the apartment. Steps to bed in loft are unique but very doable!

Perfect location, great loft, great views

Spent 2 weeks here in August. The location is perfect if you want to run in cottonwood canyon like me. The loft was so beautiful, clean, quiet and Jennifer was so nice. I love view from deck. Can’t wait to book my next visit!!!

Peaceful, Clean Get-Away with Easy Access to Canyons

We enjoyed our stay at the Carriage House and would stay again if we are in the area. The unit is very clean, has everything anyone would need for a short or long stay. The views are beautiful, the property peaceful and safe, and the location is conveniently close to grocery, Target, coffee shops, and the canyons for hiking. Check-in and check-out were simple. Communication was friendly, clear, and Jennifer and Kathy were quick to reply to any inquiries.

Loved our Stay !

We really loved staying at Butler Manor, it really felt like a home away from home. We enjoyed the large deck w/bbq and its great views of the valley and the mountains. The furnishings are beautiful and comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The location is perfect if you want to ski the cottonwood canyons or want a central location with easy access to the 215 loop. Owners were on site at the time and were very friendly while at the same time respecting our privacy. Highly recommend this property.

Great Vacation

My 2 teenagers and I spent a very enjoyable month in Salt Lake City. The apartment was great--very comfortable and cozy. We had several great views of the mountains. We enjoyed some beautiful sunsets from the balcony. The location was great too. Very close to both Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons and our daily trek to the U only took us about 20 minutes. We will definitely check the availability next time we are in SLC.

This Carriage House is on a property that is on the National Historic Registry. We are located near the bottom of both Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons, extremely close to Snowbird, Alta, Solitude and Brighton Resorts for all winter and summer activities and just 30 minute fro Park City. Spring and Summer we have thousands of gorgeous flowers in bloom on our property and fruit trees to enjoy.
