Hello! For future guests who may read this review, there are a few things to note. Yes, this stay was less than perfect. We had recently switched cleaning crews and had some growing pains during that process. Immediately upon the guest’s reaching out to notify us of the issues, we returned to try to make things right. We always try to do the right thing for our guests. It’s disappointing to me that our efforts were not reflected in the review as speaking with the guest she indicated satisfaction. Until after her stay when she requested a refund which, now, appears to have been leverage for a better review. Regarding the construction, the city of Helena was replacing the storm water drainage system and let us know a month prior that the work would be happening, but didn’t provide a start date. They started a day (maybe two) before this guest’s stay and as soon as we were aware they began work, we reached out. Unfortunately her flight from New York City was delayed or cancelled and in all the confusion with her flight I believe she did not see the notification until closer to her arrival. All of that to say, yes, there were problems and we tried to remedy everything to the best of our ability, including delivering more cleaning supplies which, I also noticed, didn’t make the review. Please know that we try hard to please all guests. Unfortunately some cannot be pleased and that is regrettable.
