Beautiful Newly Renovated Farmhouse with Great Mountain Views

Don't miss this newly renovated farmhouse. Located near the town of Stanley, Va, and just 10 minutes to the town of Luray, Va. Centrally located to all major attractions such as: Luray Caverns, Luray Zoo, Massanutten Four Seasons Resort, and the Shenandoah National Park. The farmhouse sleeps 6 comfortably with 3 separate bedrooms and all linens are included. The panoramic views of the mountains are breathtaking from the hot tub or the front porch rockers. You can enjoy the outdoor campfire area right from the hot tub. Don't forget Fido! Pets are welcome for a small nightly fee.


This property is centrally located within twenty minutes of all major attractions in the area. If you just want to get away and not worry about any of the local attractions this would be a great place to relax. This is 'Mayberry'. We don't even have a stoplight in this town.

This house is located on a farm. Guest are allowed to walk over any part of the field but no motorized vehicles are to be in the fields.

Guests are expected to leave the house in the same condition as it was in when they arrived. Guests are not expected to wash linens, towels, etc.

No ATV's and no shooting of any type of fire arms. Please do not move furniture or curtains.

Easy access, clean and comfortable. The house is very cute and there’s a nice view of the mountains across the field. My family enjoyed the fire pit and just sitting on the patio and front porch.

The house was clean and exactly as advertised. My family of 5 plus our dog were perfectly comfortable. My kids especially enjoyed visiting with the neighbor's goats. We had a great time hiking in Shenandoah National Park and exploring Luray Caverns. The Hawksbill Diner was a great breakfast option the one morning we didn't feel like making breakfast.

A beautiful farmhouse in a quiet setting. Though we were only there for the weekend we enjoyed the amenities of the house ( hot tub) and the surrounding areas. Gary was a great host. The dogs enjoyed the spacious yard.Hope to return when we are in the area in the future.

I really enjoyed my stay. The house was situated in a beautiful peaceful valley with mountains all around. There were Mountain Views from the porch, hot tub and dining area. Gary was very helpful and available. There was no WiFi which we hadn’t realised but it was not a problem for us. The one bathroom was downstairs off the kitchen which may be a problem for those sleeping upstairs.We loved soaking in the hot tub on a rainy afternoon. I would stay again as it was comfortable, peaceful, clean and had extra touches like the hot tub, outside fire and outside dining table with a view.

Very comfortable beds. Loved the old house atmosphere. Frying pans could be updated, all but 1 was in pretty bad condition and unhealthy. Shower head could use some attention also. If we ever come this way again we would stay again. Owner is very friendly and kind. We also enjoyed the hot tub.

Beautiful farmhouse is an understatement! The house is immaculate while being as cozy as a home can possibly be . We loved visiting with the goats often whom reside across the street, Gary and his family are the type that make you feel like you are family. The area is stunning, the caverns are a miracle of nature and a must see! Will be back!

Great location close to the national park and Luray Caverns. Communication with Gary was easy and he got back to questions very quickly. He also had a lot of recommendations for activities and dining in the area. The house is in a very peaceful setting with great views, and is in good condition with comfy beds. Lots of area outside for the kids to run around and they enjoyed seeing all the animals at the neighboring properties!

Wonderful!

Beautifully maintained farmhouse in a cute town. It had everything we needed for our long weekend in the area. We were there to visit the national park and hike so the hot tub was a welcome sight for aching muscles.

Great weekend

We had a great weekend at the farmhouse! Great fireplace and hot tub, everything was working. Beautiful hiking in the national park close by. Very cozy and nostalgic.
