This newly renovated house is perfectly located in the serene cove of Lookout Shoals Lake in Catawba, NC. Whether you are looking for a leisurely getaway or an adventure-filled family vacation—this is the place for you! Lounge by the shore on the covered dock, explore the surrounding coves and observe the various wildlife from the seat of a kayak, or enjoy swimming and sliding from the dock into the calm and refreshing water. Make sure to pack your fishing rods and tackle box as the lake is home to various species of fish. If you are a water sports enthusiast and would like to bring your own boat or jet-ski, there is a boat ramp that offers public access located just a short drive from the property. The dock at the house is equipped with cleats allowing you to dock your watercraft during your stay. While there are plenty of ways to enjoy the quaint Lookout Shoals Lake, it does not offer access to a marina or any watercraft rental companies. After enjoying all that the lake has to offer, you may choose to participate in a little friendly competition with a game of air hockey, poker, foosball, or billiards in the fully stocked game room. What better way to wrap up a perfect day at the lake than by relaxing next to the stone fire-pit and grilling a perfect meal to pair with the stunning view?

The Dreamy Lake Lodge was designed for families, groups, and couples alike. The main floor offers an open concept living and dining area that features an unobstructed view of the lake. In the chef’s kitchen you will find ample counter space, cookware, and dishes. You will also find a full range of appliances including a four-burner range, two convection ovens, and a stainless-steel refrigerator that are sure to appease any culinary expert or to simply store the take-out and left-over meals from one of the local restaurants. Off the kitchen and dining area, you will find a sunroom that is perfect for your morning coffee or enjoying the evening sunset. The main floor also boasts a large master bedroom with a king-size bed and a private deck that provides a breath-taking view of the water. The ensuite bathroom offers a walk-in shower as well as a large vanity and back-lit mirror. If you have young kids, you will love that the kid’s room houses a set of twin bunk beds with a slide and is also located on the main floor of the home. There is also a half bathroom located off the main living space. Two additional bedrooms are located upstairs and each comfortably accommodates two queen beds and a dresser. A jack-and-jill bathroom is perfectly positioned between the two bedrooms, with each bedroom containing its own vanity area. Adding to the tranquility of these rooms is the clear view of the gorgeous lake. The beautifully finished walkout basement is sure to be one of the favorite spaces in the home! From card games to classic arcade games, everyone is sure to find a game that they love in the newly furnished game room. If participating in games is not your thing, then enjoy the beautifully-crafted wet bar while watching your favorite sports team on the large screen TV!

Interested in shopping, dining, or spending a day being pampered at the spa? The proximity of I-40 allows for quick travel to many nearby attractions. Rock Barn Country Club & Spa is only a short drive from the house and offers a beautiful golf course and relaxing spa area. Boxcar Grille, Marely’s Pizza, Pop’s Old Company Store and Tavern, Rustic Rail Café, and Catawba Creamery are all local dining options within a ten-minute drive of the property. There are also various dining and shopping attractions located in the nearby towns of Conover, Hickory, and Statesville.

Please be aware of the gradual slope and natural uneven terrain in the rear of the property and use caution for guests that are not independently steady and mobile. Life jackets are available and are advised to be used at all times by anyone around or in the water. Use extra precautions when visiting the property with children due to the property’s proximity to the water. When enjoying the lake, please also be aware of any surrounding watercrafts visiting the cove.
