Stylish Home, Great Location

Have fun with the whole family at this stylish place. Recently remodeled, this Mid Century home has much to offer. The property is ideally located in Glenwood Springs, close to all activities, trails, shopping, restaurants and the bonus of a huge park within steps.

This vacation rental has been recently remodeled and is updated with stylish new furnishings, new linens and colorful dƩcor. The owner has paid close attention to details, so the home is well stocked with kids in mind.

Main Level:

Living and Dining Room:

The living room offers a beautiful leather sofa and 2 stylish chairs. Watch TV or cozy up with a good book in front of the candle lit fireplace.

The dining room is nearby with additional seating for 8, both areas having access to the 55" Smart TV, which includes basic cable. Guests may access their own NETFLIX and Prime accounts.

The Kitchen:

The cozy kitchen is a colorful delight! New stainless steel appliances, dishes and cooking utensils are included to help cook up a delicious meal.

Upstairs Bath:

The upstairs bath is remodeled, contemporary and clean, offering fresh bath and pool towels.

Upstairs Bedroom:

This bedroom is beautifully decorated and offers a comfy king bed, dresser for clothes storage and a large closet.

Upstairs Bedroom:

This bedroom is also beautifully decorated and offers a comfy queen bed with storage drawers underneath and a large closet.

The Game Room:

This fun space was deigned for families to gather. We have included a Foosball table, a game table that seats 6 and lots of board games to make family time memorable.

Downstairs Level:

Downstairs bedroom:

This space is really special. It is a large bedroom that offers a comfy king bed, storage dresser and 65" Smart TV. It also has its own seating area to watch TV in front of the candle lit fireplace.

Downstairs Bedroom:

This bedroom is very cozy with stylish dƩcor. This room offers a comfy queen and twin bed, both with storage drawers underneath.

Downstairs Bath:

The downstairs bath is shared with both downstairs bedrooms and offers a combo tub/shower.

Laundry Room:

The large laundry room is located downstairs. We offer a iron and board, folding table and an assortment of hangers.

Outside:

The large back yard is a nice space surrounded by lilac bushes and beautiful mountain views. The back patio includes a BBQ grill and dining table.

Across the street is a large park for kids to play, there is even a sledding hill, (sleds located in garage), volley ball and horse shoes are also available at the park.

This property is idea for families or couples traveling together. It is very cozy, well equipped, beautifully decorated and close to Downtown Glenwood.

Everything was great except for one thing. The basement king bed was unreasonably soft and unsupportive. It was like sleeping on a trampoline. All the other beds seamed great except that one. Becase we needed all the beds, my wife and I spent the weekend with a back ache.

This house worked well for our group of 5 adults and 3 kids, especially with a park just across the street. The swamp cooler (not really a/c) didn't cover all the rooms, but ceiling fans cooled the upstairs bedrooms enough for sleeping. Overall, we were very happy with our decision to stay at this rental while visiting Glenwood Springs.

Overall, the listing was accurate. The space was mostly clean and checking in was an easy process. There was someone's leftover take-ouy in the fridge, and mildewed towels left behind in the washer. When I alerted the host, she quickly apologized and arranged to have the mildewed laundry picked up immediately, which I was thankful for. However, I also alerted the host that I thought the ice maker was not working. I later learned that it was working, it was just slow to produce and only dropped small amounts at a time. The host responded to this pretty rudely, in my opinion, stating "well, what would you like me to do about that?" And that she couldn't control how fast or how much ice was produced. I just wanted her to know in the event this was abnormal for the machine. And lastly, in the middle of the afternoon on Wednesday, while the kids were resting/napping, a male showed up and entered the backyard to landscape and mow the lawn. He didn't come to the door, it wasn't stated in the listing that lawn care would be performed while we were there, there was no communication from the host about him coming whatsoever. It was extremely off-putting.

Great house and location!

This house was perfect for our 3 children, their spouses and my granddaughter. Everything was extremely clean. We loved sitting in the backyard in the mornings before we set off on our adventures. Our granddaughter loved the swing in the backyard and the playground across the street. The house is located very close to downtown and the hot springs, adventure park and bike rental shop we used was a short drive over the bridge. Everything was in working order and very clean. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Glenwood Springs.

Nice Location, Most of the Basics Covered

The property was clean and pleasant. The location, right across from a small park and a short drive away from downtown was great. The kitchen is quite small, but functional. Oddly, there was no toaster (which was kind of disappointing when making breakfast). The advertised air conditioning is actually a swamp cooler -- but after giving it the usual 10-15 minutes a swamp cooler takes to start to actually cool it works very well. Our only real gripe was that the downstairs "master" bedroom is that you can hear a pump of some kind running which is loud enough to be annoying when trying to get to sleep.

Wonderful family home!

We had an amazing 5-day stay at this retreat and loved every moment of it! The home was spotless and well-maintained, and the kitchen was a highlight. I stayed with my wife and two sons, aged 24 and 17, and it was important that the home be comfortable for all of us. We love cooking together, and the fully equipped kitchen, top-notch appliances, spacious sink, and outdoor grill made meals a pleasure. Although compact, the kitchen was incredibly functional and had everything we needed.The linens were pristine, and the beds were some of the most comfortable we've ever slept on. We spent quality time playing games and reconnecting as a family. The weather was unpredictable, with temperatures ranging from nearly 60F to 18F, but the home stayed comfortable, and we adjusted the heat as needed. The dining table was another spot where we spent a lot of time together. A fun quirk was the mid-century style chairs with legs that kicked out, and we all tripped over them at least once, which became a funny running joke. The location was perfect. Glenwood Springs has a charming vibe, and the park across the street was always busy, adding to the lively atmosphere. This retreat was the ideal place for our family to unwind and reconnect. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a cozy, well-equipped home in a prime location!

Would stay again!

My only complaint was that on checkout one of the requirements was to wash all towels-which we were fine doing but the people before us did not. They folded them up dirty and put them away. So when we arrived we had to wash all the towels they were still slightly damp from use and covered in brown stuff? Other than that the house was bigger than it looks in pictures it was so close to everything and very well stocked. The yard is huge. Thank you for the stay we will definitely be back

Great spot

The location on this is perfect. The pictures honestly do not do the place justice. We had 9 people staying in the house. Our kids loved playing in the backyard and the park across the street. We loved that it was close enough to the store we could walk there. What we didn't love was that the downstairs bathroom is small and it was difficult for 5 people to share it. We also didn't love that the downstairs isn't ducted for any heating and cooling and it got stuffy at times while the upstairs was quite cold. We would consider staying here again if we find ourselves in the area.

This property was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was perfect for our ski weekend at Sunlight. Short drive to downtown restaurants and hot springs. Kitchen had everything we could need. Will absolutely be booking again! Thank you!

Great House for Groups

Great location, 20 minute walk to downtown. Decent amount of beds and rooms for people. We liked how there were multiple tables for board games and how functional the place was for our stay. If we go back to glenwood springs we would stay here again.

GREAT Family Vacation House

Our family stayed here in July 2023. There were eight people total and there was plenty of room for us all to be very comfortable. The house was very clean and Andrea had all of the extras to make our stay nice. The location was wonderful, close to the grocery store and the shops/restaurants were only about a 3-5 minute drive. We had a wonderful vacation spent at the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park, with the WhiteWater Rafting LLC, biking along the Rio Grande trail, and hiking the Hanging Lake trail. We highly recommend the cute town of Glenwood Springs and staying at Andrea's house (the home away from home).

Every detail was lovingly thought of from the kitchen to the bedrooms, bathrooms, patio. Very nice bedding, towels and kitchenwares. Our host was very thoughtful and attentive/easily reached. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it. Thank you!

We will definitely be back. This place is perfect. The host has thought of all of those little things that we appreciated. Well stocked kitchen and the whole house was immaculate! We and our guests all remarked about how incredibly comfortable the beds were. The towels and linens were plush and soft, and we all felt a little pampered by our stay there. The house interior design, furniture, paintings all felt a step above other homes. We wanted to stay and live there. There's a park across the street and we took walks around the park each evening of our stay. Highly recommend this place.
