Ground Floor Unit on Beautiful Melbourne Harbor!

Melbourne Harbor Condominium is situated on scenic Melbourne Harbor in Melbourne, Florida. There are two restaurants on Melbourne Harbor, and the condo is only one block from Historic Downtown Melbourne, with shopping, entertainment, and restaurants.

Unit #103 is on on the waterfront, on the ground floor--no steps or elevators to negotiate. Parking is literally steps out the front and back door.

Unit #103 is fully furnished and is equipped with a small kitchen, 2 TV's, air conditioning, ceiling fans, sleeping facilities for up to 4 people, and over 700 sq feet of living space. It is comfortably furnished to give you that 'at home' feeling.

We have a beautiful water view of Melbourne Harbor, a small park out the back door, and several more parks within walking distance.

We have Spectrum cable TV with a large-screen modern HDTV, and dedicated high speed internet (cable) with a secure wifi router just for our unit.

This unit is great for a summer vacation, winter stay, or for business travelers in town for an extended period. It is also very close to Holmes Regional Hospital Medical Center and would be perfect for treatment or hospice situations.

Our rates vary by the season, and are very reasonable for the amenities and the location.

This condo is in such a great location! It is walkable to all of the restaurants, bars, and shops in downtown Melbourne, a short drive to the beach, and centrally located in Brevard County if you are visiting family. We have stayed here a number of times and really enjoy exploring all of the new restaurants on offer in downtown Melbourne. The condo itself is very comfortable, with a recently upgraded kitchen, a comfortable queen sized bed, and a small living room for lounging and watching TV. Aside from occasional nearby train traffic, it's a pretty quiet building - we have no issues sleeping here, despite being fairly light sleepers.

Disappointed

Husband and I disappointed at our stay. We are 77 and 82. Listing was not correct. Pool was out of service for our 2 week stay. AC was very poor. Temps were around 90 and AC was subpar. Marina across street was fine to look at from across the street but gate is padlocked and very little activity there. Would not go there again

Life Saver

Thi this was in the perfect location for me. Due to my father-in-law having a stroke and was in the hospital and then the Sea Pines rehab it was in a perfect location. Close to downtown the mall and lots of eateries. It was very convenient and made me feel like I was at jome.at home

Great Location with a view

Cute little place, nothing fancy but had everything for comfort! We loved the location as we enjoy walking to restaurants and around the river. Just what we were looking for,,, We will definitely come back!

We liked the location, the condo could have been cleaner. Bathtub was dirty, rugs should have been cleaned (they are the washable kind). The bed was very comfortable, nice sheets. We felt very safe.

Great location. Place was dated but clean.

We didn't like that we had to pay to use the shared washer and dryer. There was 1 washer and 2 dryers for 12 units. We had to pay to wash the towels because we were there 10 days

Cute condo

I stayed at this condo. It’s a lovely location on the Harbor and near one of my favorite restaurants- Ichabod’s, but if you want a good sleep, pick another spot. The bed is extremely hard, the air mattress deflates and the sleeper sofa was uncomfortable. Also, the bathroom tub drain needs a good clean out as water ends up above your ankles when showering. There was no screen on the sliding door so if you wanted to leave it open, you dealt with bugs. The windows could not easily be opened as they were newer and had “childproof” mechanisms so if you have arthritis, forget about that. It really was a shame there were these issues because the property is a cute spot! Hope they read these comments and make some changes.

Very nice condo. Beautiful view, so convenient to old Melbourne, places to eat and things to do.

We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the ability to bring our fur baby. Was a lovely condo with a wonderful location and would definitely love to stay there again. Owners and management were so easy to communicate with. And now we can say we experienced a hurricane.

Air conditioning could not keep the unit below 80 degrees at one point at 3AM we found the thermostat on 85. Very disappointed. This was our second stay at this complex with the same issues in two different units

Great location with park & harbor in view!

We’re a retired couple looking to move to Florida.. The unit is very sufficient, but needs a little TLC. Carpets could use replacing, kitchen table wobbles and outdoor table needs replacing. This constructive criticism was left with manager. If those things were corrected we would give 5 stars!

An affordable escape!

This property met our expectations for a winter getaway. It's a ground floor unit that ideally looks out onto the yacht harbor and park, adjacent to Historic Downtown Melbourne (shops, restaurants & services) and is a short 1.5 mi drive across the causeway to beach communities. The causeway offered a spectacular setting for daily early morning walks (3-4 mile loop) with sunrise views of dolphins, diving pelicans and other fish & birds. There is a manatee cove steps away. Take our advice and drive 9 min north to Paradise Beach to enjoy the sunny Atlantic (there's a great food truck offering Philly Cheese Steaks permanently on site). The unit is well appointed in every basic respect. We spent seven weeks and got to know it well. Three on vacation. Four remote working. We made it home away for us as a couple traveling. We cooked in three or four nights a week shopping at a well run and stocked Publix near the beach. There are laundry machines in the complex yet we took ours to a same day laundry service near Publix. The internet and cable work well supporting many video calls. We brought our Chromecast to instantly access all our streaming services and playlists. An internet outage was handled within one day by Spectrum. Air conditioning and heat are in good working order. Lights and ceiling fans operate. Water pressure is good and hot water supply is generous. Given our length of stay we drove down. There is ample parking. We brought our own bedding, pillows, bath towels (though they are on offer); as well as our own beach gear. There is an unheated pool which we didn't and it seems is rarely used. The condo complex was well occupied and we found no noise coming from friendly neighbors. There is the persistent sound of unmuffled vehicles traveling on US highway 1 and the audible horns from the Florida East Coast Railroad freight line which are adjacent. We are not light sleepers so it wasn't a concern. A large ABC wine & liquors and one of the most efficient Starbucks you've ever been to are nearby in Indiatlantic. Melbourne's restaurants offer a variety of cuisines at all price points many with outdoor seating. (Don't miss Drew's Brews and Grill or El Ambia Cubano just a stroll under Highway 1). Our special occasion pick is Oak & Ember (signature steakhouse board experience). All in, given the rate we enjoyed, this is a rare find. We'd recommend Cheryl M's place in Melbourne.

We have been residents of the Melbourne area for 40 years. We love the water and are avid sailors and members of Melbourne Yacht Club. We are currently retired and are enjoying traveling the world on a part-time basis. We spend the fall months in our condo, and rent it to others the rest of the year. It is our home, and we hope it will become your home away from home.
When we are travelling, we have a locally resident property manager to attend to guest needs.

Melbourne Harbor Condominium is located right on Melbourne Harbor--across from Melbourne Yacht Club and next to Melbourne Harbor Marina. (Visitor privileges to Melbourne Yacht Club may be possible to arrange). We have 3 parks within walking distance, and Historical Downtown Melbourne. Besides the proximity to the harbor, the beach, and the Hospital, we are also located within 10 minutes of major employers like Holmes Hospital, Harris, Northrop Grumman, Globe Wireless, Intersil, and Authentec.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Walk out on the rear patio and watch sailboats coming in the harbor. Stroll the waterfront. Walk just down the street and see manatees and other protected Florida wildlife. A 5 minute walk will take you to the shops and restaurants in Historic Downtown Melbourne. A short drive or bicycle ride will take you out to the beach. A short drive in the other direction will take you to a nice reasonably-priced golf course or tennis courts. Or, if you prefer, just hang out and enjoy our pool.
