About our home.... :)
In the heart of the Napa Valley!
The house is a modern ranch style home situated on 1 acre with a private gated entry. There is a sparkling pool and hot tub, a wrap around porch, 2 outdoor fire pits, bocce ball court, and plush landscaping! A cozy cabana bed, lounge chairs for all, rocking chairs surrounding the fire pit, and outdoor couches offer comfort and variety for all of your backyard fun! With spectacular mountain views, surrounded by vineyards, it’s easy to not want to leave!
The 1000+ sq.' great room opens up to the wrap around porch, both front and back. The pool is just steps away! There is a gourmet kitchen with a 6 burner Viking range, concrete counter tops, and rustic hickory hardwood flooring throughout. There are 3 bedrooms uniquely and simply decorated, all with queen beds and plush linens. Wi-fi, and a Niles sound system throughout the inside and the entire backyard, firepit area and bocce area!
The house sits on the Valley floor nestled among vineyards on a crossroad in between Highway 29 and Silverado Trail. It is just 5 minutes north of downtown Napa and just 5 minutes south of Yountville. This central location is perfect for quick access to everything food, wine, and fun... but far enough away to be AWAY!

The house was incredible, from its location to the finishes within the home. The neuter set up of the yard was perfect. The host was 5 stars and couldn’t do enough for us. Highly recommend!

Great Outdoor Space

We celebrated my husband's 50th Birthday with two other couples. This house was perfect for 6 people. The outdoor space w/ the pool, bocce ball and fire pits is the perfect combo for a relaxing weekend. That combined w/ the access to downtown make for the perfect spot. Gina was wonderful at answering all of our questions quickly and assisting with anything we needed!

Fantastic house!

The house was perfect for our visit to Napa. It was very clean and location was convenient , just a short Uber ride to Oxbow Market and downtown Napa. The outdoor living space is absolutely beautiful. A great place to sip our early morning coffee before heading out to the wineries. We took advantage of the pool/hot tub and had a great time playing bocce ball. Gina was a pleasure to interact with and was always prompt with her responses whenever we had any questions prior to arriving as well as while we were at the house. Thank you for making our visit special!

Nice house , great owners !

Nice house in South end of the valley. Near the city of Napa. Big lot, nice big living room with views over vineyards. Big tv with lots of pay per view movies choices and super comfortable couches. Comfortable beds, towels and amenities. We loved the fire pit and bocce court. The master bedroom wing is locked off and the remaining 3 bedrooms are small. Two of the three bedrooms face a surprisingly busy street for a rural home, but a set of earplugs all around solved that problem. It is near Dariouch, Trefethen, Biale wineries. The restaurants in the of city of of napa and Yountville are less than a 10 minute drive. Auberge, meadowwood and the restaurants and wineries in the north end of the valley are not convenient. Overall a great experience thank you Gina !

Great Location with Perfect Outdoor Living Space

We really enjoyed our stay. The outdoor living space is amazing. We spent most of our time outside enjoying the views of the nearby vineyards and fire pit. One of the bathrooms is located outside by the pool which made it very convenient when spending time outside.

Beautiful Property, Nicely Furnished, and a Great Owner

The property is very beautiful and the finishings are even nicer in person than they appear in photos. The house has a stunning outdoor space, very well equipped kitchen, and is well situated in the middle of the valley so it is close to everything. They had really nice touches, including a personalized welcome, great linens, and nice bathrobes for everyone. We stayed here as a group of three couples. The property was great for us as there were queen beds in all three rooms. Gina, the owner, was very helpful and accommodating to all our questions and requests. We would definitely stay here on our next trip and have already suggested the property to friends who are planning a trip.

Fabulous stay in Napa

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ranch House in Napa Valley! The house exceeded our expectations as did the host, Gina. Very centrally located, beautiful decor and the kitchen was well stocked. Spacious and comfortable living room to relax in after a long day of wine tasting!!! No need to look further!

Beautiful home. Lives bigger than it shows!

This property is beautiful with fantastic views of the mountain side. The outdoor entertaining area cannot be beat and the location is central to many of the best wineries in the valley. The property is private and provides the ability to stay and enjoy or hit up a top restaurant/winery in minutes. The only downside is the rooster that lives next door. He tends to start his morning at 4am, which can dampen the stay. Not a huge issue year round but during the summer/fall when the temperatures can reach high 80’s-90’s the AC does not circulate through the House very well. Certain rooms will run very hot and can be unpleasant. It’s easy to open the window on cool nights, but this only makes the rooster even more prevalent. For the price the owner needs to fix the AC along with making renters aware of the rooster before deciding to stay.

Such a beautiful and peaceful home

My family and I decided to take a quick trip to Napa for the weekend to spend some time together since it's been seven years since just the four of us hung out (sans kids and spouses). We had such a wonderful and relaxing time enjoying this beautiful home. We sat outside one evening for an in-home catered dinner, and it was so lovely and peaceful to stare out at the beautiful backyard and vineyard while enjoying a wonderful meal with my family. Gina (owner) was so nice and helpful. Their house and her customer service made our stay unforgettable for all. Thank you, Gina and family!

Great host. Easy access and directions for stay. Gina is a great host and provides clear and helpful information. House has so many amenities and is very comfortable. We would recommend this house if you are planning to visit wineries in and around Napa. Location is perfect for access to all wineries.

Great location.. but..

Overall the property is very nice and in a great location . Gina is awesome to work with and very accessible. She was even kind enough to let us keep the fresh eggs from the chickens a couple of days. There are total of 5 bedrooms in the house but only three rented out. None of those bedrooms have An attached bathroom. While practicing yoga my wife noticed a lot of dust and dog hair under the living room sofa. One of the bedroom closet has this huge safe which limits space for clothes . The gate to the property is a bit tricky but again Gina’s instructions are very helpful. The views from the back yard are spectacular.. The furniture cushions in the back yard have seen their better days and need to be replaced or cleaned .. Hope this helps ...

Thank you for the kind words. I am sorry our home didn't meet your standards. This is a first for us. Given the timing with the devastating fires, I wish you could have sent me a text to handle the issues rather than put this out for the world to see. We are doing what we can to get visitors back to our beloved Napa and this less than perfect review could potentially do the opposite. So, rather than keeping my reply private, I too have nothing to hide by addressing your issues: Yes we have a dog, our beloved white labrador Frankie girl, who brings so much joy to our country property! Our home is impeccably clean - I apologize their was hair under the couch. And yes we have dust from the vineyards and tractors which make our view so spectacular - we try our best to stay on top of this. Regarding the safe, we will look into moving it to another room. The home is listed as a 3 bedroom, so I'm a bit confused at the relevance of mentioning the locked additional storage areas/room. We feel blessed to share our home with many friends and visitors who spend hours on the cushions so many refer to as "comfortable." Napa has many beautiful Hotels, Rental Properties, Bed and Breakfasts, and other wonderful accommodation options. Perhaps a modern accommodation in the city rather than a ranch home nestled in the vineyards may suit you better on your next visit. For the record, our home survived the wildfires. We are very lucky!! Thank you to all of our past guests for the outpouring of love and concern! For anyone reading this review, we would love for you to come enjoy our special piece of the Napa Valley... our home is waiting!

Excellent stay in Napa!

We had a lovely time with friends enjoying the beautiful outdoors at this house. The house is very comfortable and inviting. Wonderful Napa Home

We just returned from a 4 day stay in Napa with 2 other couples. This home is PERFECT! The location is great, so convenient to everything with wineries just down the road (we loved Biale!). The home is well furnished and had everything we needed to feel at home. The pool, hot tub, firepit and bocce court made for fun afternoons and evenings after a day at the wineries! We hope to return to Napa again soon and will definitely check here first to rent again!

We rented this home in the summer of 2010. It is the perfect place to stay for a Napa getaway. The owners' attention to detail and concern for your great vacation show in every detail. We would gladly rent again!

A little about us...
My husband and I are 30's/40somethings. I have lived here my entire life, and him almost 15 years. We both absolutely love wine and food and travel and fun! We love to share our little piece of Napa with guests from all over the world. Helping to plan your trip is something I am happy to do as much or as little as you'd like. I can give you ideas, suggestions or my opinion on wineries, restaurants, transportation options, etc. Or, I can simply give you the key and walk away! Either way... Be assured the home will be your own private retreat throughout your entire stay!!

Because it is SPOTLESS, light and bright, cozy yet spacious, packed with amenities if you forget anything, and in the HEART of the Napa Valley Wine Country!
Each bedroom is completely empty of any personal items. Crisp white linens with extra pillows, blankets, and hangers... That's it. The fridge is also empty and spotless. We do everything possible to make the home feel like it's yours!
The location is also very ideal while visiting the Napa Valley. Less than one mile to 6 amazing wineries! And very close to so many more. 5 minutes north of downtown Napa and just 5 minutes south of Yountville. Easily accessible for private transportation. And if Uber is your choice, usually no more than a 5 minute wait.

Lots of play time here... we've found that many end up skipping a day out just to stay in! Pool, Spa, Bocce Ball, CornHole, 3 Fire Areas! And our latest addition... MS. PAC MAN! ;)
