Unmatched quality, style, and craftsmanship, this home is perfect for large families or corporate retreats. The home features a large living room, media room and a dining area that seats 8, plus breakfast table that seats 4, and TV Room with 65″ Smart TV. The King master bedroom on Main Floor with master Bath including: walk in shower, jetted tub, 2 large walk-in closets, double vanities, toilet, makeup mirror and more. Upstairs King Bedroom shares bath with a second bedroom that has a twin bed. On the Terrace Level, we have (2) Queen Bedrooms with Tub/Shower Bathroom in the hallway, and a bedroom with 3 Single beds and a Tub/Shower Bathroom. Additional Bathroom on Terrace with extra-large shower. There is also 1 Full Swing bed. This home has many custom finishes with large picture windows and 3 decks with outdoor seating for everyone.

Everything was just perfect from the check-in process to check out. The kitchen was well appointed and all facilities such as hot tub etc. were in wonderful working order.

Beautiful and comfortable home. The views from the back porch were amazing. Kitchen is well stocked. We had so much fun at the pools, beach club, pickleball courts, golf course and hiking trails. Patti was a wonderful host and took care of everything we needed.

Dear Patti,Thank you so much for sharing the beautiful Big Canoe home with us! From the moment we walked in, we were struck by how clean, welcoming, and thoughtfully prepared everything was. The view was absolutely stunning, and we spent so much time just soaking it in together as a family.The kitchen was a dream—well-equipped, spacious, and perfect for our big group of 11. The coffee kitchen was an unexpected bonus. We cooked, laughed, and made wonderful memories that we’ll carry with us for a long time. Every room was comfortable and beautifully decorated, and the whole house truly felt like a home away from home. We loved that there was actually a big canoe inside the house. This house is over the top, wonderful. The view is incredible. Every little detail in the interior is amazing. Patti is an Excellent host to help plan your stay. It’s hard to leave The Lodge is

An incredible stay at The Highlanf Lodge.Perfect for large family gathering Extremely friendly layout and the Butler Kitchen if fabulous from coffee breakfast bar to the extra frig space The lower level with the jacuzzi and dart board offered fun moments for all The rental managers timely communication was friendly and supportive So enjoyable that no one wanted to leave to property for the lake or pool area.We hope to plan another visit in the future

We rented Highland Lodge for our family that were traveling from out of state for our daughter's wedding. The wedding was at the Big Canoe Chapel. The Highland Lodge was a perfect place to host many family members and we all loved the cabin atmos

Great place for our Creative Conference

Place was everything we hoped for and Patti made sure that the few minor bumps we hit were taken care of quickly. If you need a place for a creative retreat, look no where else, this place has it all.We will definitely return again!!!

Fantastic house, fabulous host!

The house is beautiful, really well equipped, splendid view. Patti, our host was incredibly fast to respond to questions and super helpful. Just be aware, the property is pretty remote, so do your grocery shopping before you arrive!

Fantastic

We were all in town for a wedding. There was so much room for all of us at this house. We used to have a vacation house in Big Canoe and o had no idea there were views this stunning g there! Every window had a magnificent view. Felt like we were at the top of the mountain! I had to contact host a couple times for things and she was always quick to respond and so helpful!! Can’t wait to go back to this house

Incredible view!!

Our book club has stayed at several N Ga properties and this one has the best view. Pictures do not do it justice. The house is beautiful with a nicely stocked kitchen. The owner was easy to work with. We will definitely return.

Fall Beauty in Highland Lodge

Highland Lodge is the perfect location for celebrating family while experiencing the VERY BEST of Big Canoe and perfect cool fall days with magical colors of leaves, sky, the Forrest and lakes. This home was a delight for all, with the expertly designed kitchens, decor, and overall design of the home. A BEAUTIFUL log cabin with all of the modern conveniences. Gourmet kitchen- fully stocked with pots, pans, herbs, 2 refrigerators, all of the coffee pots, beautiful decks, fire pit, rocking chairs to soak up the fall sunshine and listen to the wildlife and see the incredible beauty of the North Georgia Mountains. This home is situated so that you enjoy privacy on the back porch with nothing but beauty surrounding your every sense. Fire places, and a hot tub on the terrace level of the home. Our grandchildren loved exploring the house and many places to discover. Just a few miles down the road are apple orchards where we went apple picking one day and hiking to expand our minds and lungs! We will be back! This is by far the best home we have rented in our 40 years of finding the perfect place for creating memories of a lifetime! Thank you for your attention to detail, and the generous supply of towels, blankets, and anything we would need! Highly recommend. Only down side is I didn’t secure this incredible home for our Thanksgiving gathering this year! Next year for sure! Also looking forward to coming back in the summer when we can enjoy summer activities!

Beautiful Home for a Large Group

Loved the craftsmanship and cozy interiors of the home! The vrbo host was great about quick responses. Wish we knew that the house was very far into Big Canoe- takes about 20 minutes to get to once you get in Big Canoe.

Great Stay

We had a fantastic experience at the Lodge during a last minute Labor Day trip to Big Canoe. The highlight was the views, which are spectacular. The house is nearly as pleasing and the most well-equipped vacation rental we have stayed in. Patti was very responsive, patient, and accommodating of with our requests to add guests not on the original reservation. We would stay here again without reservation.

Paradise

The property and the location is a paradise. We had our entire family of 14 stay at the property and it is large enough to accommodate everyone and allow them to have their own space as well. The views are spectacular and quiet nights are indescribable. Great large gathering space for everyone to congregate to plays games and enjoy each other. The double decks allow for enough space for corn hole, darts, or sitting by a nice fire while grilling. The communication with property manager was excellent prior to and during our trip. Thank you for allowing our family to experience such a great property and location. We will definitely visit again!

2024 Lambka Family Vacation in Big Canoe

The lodge is fantastic and we all had a great time! Loved the waterfall in the front yard and the magnificent view from the back porch. Only suggestion is to replace the single bed on the upper floor; very uncomfortable and hard to get into and out of for older adults plus it looks like a coffin! We purchased a single blow-up bed and sheets from Walmart for Ms. Libby to use during our stay - she is 84 years old!

An Idyllic Executive Retreat Space!

Our Executive Leadership Teams break away throughout the year to focus on strategic planning for the company and to enjoy time together as colleagues. We've stayed in some outstanding properties over the years, and Patti's is top of the list (and top of the mountain!). We loved that every participant had a private bedroom and bathroom, that there were several comfortable meeting spaces (indoors and out), that the kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, and that there was ample casual space for us to relax in the evenings. The view from the deck is incredible, and we spent hours enjoying it (we even took in a sunrise in the company of a beautiful resident deer one morning). The Big Canoe grounds gave us access to fun things to do on our breaks. We especially loved the hiking trails (we did the Lower Falls hike multiple times) and rented a pontoon boat from the marina one evening (be sure to call ahead to reserve). Patti was highly communicative, kind, and thoughtful, and it was a pleasure to stay in her lovingly-curated home. I hope we get to return!
