The Blue Crab at the Water is a luxury camp located in a quiet neighborhood! 3 Bedrooms and 2 full baths. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and is fully equipped. The living room has comfortable seating and a large screen TV for streaming your most recent binge series. You can also enjoy sitting on the balcony watching the ships go by or go down to the shared fishing pier and catch a few trout, redfish or go crabbing. The bedrooms are configured with a king bed in the main bedroom with its own private bath and flat screen TV. The 2nd bedroom offers a full bed, a day bed with a trundle and the 3rd bedroom offers 2 full beds. The second bath is down the hallway from these bedrooms.
Just a short walk from the house, you have access to a shared boat dock with a lighted fishing pier. You will be able to use one of the boat lifts for your boat. The boat dock is located between House 1 and House 2 on the aerial photo.
There are 4 cameras located outside.

Family Vacation

Camp was clean and plenty of room for everyone. Fishing dock had six slips and three of them have boat lifts, which was a plus for me. I highly recommend your check this camp out your your next vacation.

Best place to stay in Hackberry!

U will not find a better place to stay in Hackberry! House is beautiful and has everything you need for a stay. The dock is just a short walk away and the fish cleaning table is nice and the lights work and the water to wash down everything was nice. Also, you wonā€™t find a better host than Mr. Bruce. He helped us out with anything we needed. Could not recommend the Blue Crab enough for anyone looking to stay in Hackberry. Our second time staying, and already planning our third !

Blue Crab - Valentine 2024

We thoroughly enjoyed the property and location, house was very clean and well kept. The Gumbo left for us in the Frig was a nice welcoming gift. Planning to return and enjoy some fishing. Bruce was very responsive to all of our inquiries - would definitely endorse this property to others desiring this area. Fuel was available very close by and grocery provisions were a few miles back up the road. Loved the seclusion as well as the opportunities in nearby Lake Charles along with the Gulf Beaches.

Fishermanā€™s Wifeā€™s Dream Camp

This camp has everything you need for a great fishing trip. Very close to Calcasieu Lake, Intracoastal ship channel & the gulf coast. The camp is new, clean & has all the amenities you will need. Your boat is protected in the boat house and has its own electric lift. If you like you can fish off the lighted dock at night. Thereā€™s a very nice cleaning station to clean all of your fish. The camp is in a very nice neighborhood. Bruce, the host of this camp was excellent. Any concerns or questions we had were answered & met immediately by text, email, or personal phone calls. He is very attentive to the least little detail. He even left us some of his delicious Gumbo! What a way to give us a Louisiana welcome!

Fantastic Experience in Hackberry

I had an awesome experience staying at the Blue Crab at the Water. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood and offers luxury accommodations. As we parked in the driveway, the homeā€™s impressive appearance caught our attention. Upon entering, we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and the modern appliances. The kitchen, equipped with stainless steel appliances, made meal preparation a breeze. The living room provided comfortable seating and a large screen TV for streaming our favorite shows. We especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony, watching ships pass by. For fishing enthusiasts, the shared fishing pier was a highlightā€”we caught trout, redfish, and even went crabbing. The three bedrooms were thoughtfully configured: a king bed in the main bedroom with a private bath, a second bedroom with a full bed and a day bed with a trundle, and a third bedroom with two full beds. There was a Jack- and-Jill bathroom between the 21 bedrooms. The thrid bath was conveniently located down the hallway. Additionally, the shared boat dock allowed us to use one of the boat lifts or our boat. The location between House 1 and House 2 on the aerial photo made it easy to access. Overall, the Blue Crab at the Water is a fantastic choice for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Hackberry. šŸŒŸšŸŒŸšŸŒŸšŸŒŸšŸŒŸ
