Cozy Vacation Cottage on the Lake with Hot Tub!

Relax and enjoy our completely updated home on crystal clear Viola Lake. Your family will enjoy our spacious, yet cozy cottage with gorgeous lake views and an expansive lakeside porch with gas grill, outdoor sofa, and fire pit. In the summer, enjoy swimming and fishing off the dock in the sandy bottomed lake, rent a boat or enjoy the included paddle boat or kayak. In the winter, use the snowmobile trails nearby, take a moonlit snowshoe hike across the lake, or go ice fishing with your buddies! *Please note - our home is located at the top of an incline down to the lake. While this creates incredible views from the home, it does take some work to climb up the stairs on the way up. Please refer to pictures to make sure this home will work for you.

Property was clean, well cared for, comfortable, and had all that we needed. We enjoyed the lake, but underestimated the stairs. Having to climb the stairs to access the lake got to be tiring, but should have been expected from the pictures.

The property was awesome! The house was nicely decorated and had everything that was needed for cooking and entertainment onsite. The back patio area of the property was amazing with beautiful views of the lake! The lake itself was crystal clear and fishing was amazing right off the dock. Besides swimming lots of fun using the kayaks and paddle boat. This place was perfect for our family. It's also centrally located between two towns with lots of grocery and dining options.

Overall Summary:Really big place with lots of amenities. The beds are large and comfy. Easy parking. Very private and peaceful. All the things you’d need at home from cookware to comfort to recreation. Host was responsive and helpful. Bonus Room:There’s a cute sitting room with huge windows that look out into the lake. We saw plenty of bald eagles and loons. The sitting room even has a bird book and binoculars. Lakeside:Relaxing. Bring a picnic blanket or something down to the dock because it can get toasty. There is no dry, flat ground past the back porch. The water is about a foot deep at the lowest entry point. The increase in depth is very reasonable. A very tall man can just about walk to the floating dock. You’ll see a lot of neighbors boating around throughout the day. Bonus Water:The hot tub is lovely! Includes lights if you want to use it at night. If you accidentally turn the jets on high they will definitely perk you up.Caution:One thing to be aware of is that the stairs down to the lake are somewhat difficult for anyone with mobility or cardiovascular issues. Coming back up the last 10 stairs feels like summiting Mt. Everest (probably?) WiFi password is slightly different than what’s in the instructions. If you are terrified of spiders be warned there are honestly quite a few hanging around in the corners and crevices. I think it’s just from vacancy.Nearby:Siren is only 10-15 minutes away and had everything we needed (including dog life jackets.)

Great cabin! Super clean, comfy and cute. We enjoyed the privacy of the hot tub over looking the lake. Played some foosball. Caught a ton of fish right from the dock. The lake is clear and the neighbors were friendly. There are a few flights of stairs down to the lake, which we didn’t mind. The road out front is busy, but you could not hear in the cabin or down by the lake. We would love to stay again!

Lovely home with easy access to local establishments. The staircase to take down to the dock and lake is long and steep so not ideal for anyone with really young kids or mobility issues. Loved the hot tub and scenic views.

Thanks to Margi for the nice stay! Beautiful home and backyard landscape. Hot tub, dock & kitchen were some of our favorite places to gather & hang out. And Webster has the coolest places to grab a bite to eat! Would recommend. The paddle boat didn’t work, but Margi kindly worked with me & I appreciated it.

Great location and decor in the cottage. Very quiet and relaxing surroundings. The water was great and the hot tub was wonderful at the end of each day. Allowed to bring our dogs as well. The kitchen had the latest in digital and wi-fi enabled appliances.

Great place!

We have a cabin a few miles away and needed extra room for a family weekend and it worked out great! They were comfortable and happy with the beautiful cabin!

Valentine's Get away

My wife and I enjoyed a great weekend away from the kids. The cabin was perfect, the view was amazing and as a chef, I want that kitchen in my house!

Great south facing view of the lake through the trees!! Enjoyed coffee in the living room each morning. Beds were comfortable and having easy access to the laundry room and hot tub!

Relaxing and comfortable

We enjoyed the home which was very clean and comfortable. We moved lamps around for more light but let the host know that some lamps weren’t functioning and she plans to correct this. The lake was fantastic, but the steps were no joke, the description was accurate and visitors should make sure they can do them before booking. Thanks for sharing your home.

Besutiful and Spacious

This property is beautiful with lots of tree coverage for privacy. It is on a busy road but the lake and all areas one would spend time are on the lake side. If going down to the doc, i suggest bring what you'll want in one trip. (Cooler with beverages/snacks) as the stairs up are rather steep. The lovely clear lake is great for swimming and worth the stairs. (If physically able) Any and all cooking items are available. The home is clean, with beautiful views. The lower level allows for your group to spread out, if you wish. There is a large bedroom suite on that level. We would definitely visit again!!

Beautiful property with gorgeous views

Getting to wake up and have coffee out on the patio or in the beautiful nook off of the living room/dining room was a great way to start the day. The property itself was well kept and was presented as described. The lake was crystal clear and the dock was beautiful.

Very nice stay!

My wife and I recently enjoyed a four night stay at this property. It was very clean and well appointed. The entire house is well stocked and the kitchen provides everything you need. The walk down the stairs is a bit long, but worth it. I caught several fish right off the dock. We enjoyed watching a young Bald Eagle hanging out on his chosen branch not far from the window of the house. The hot tub provides for a nice place to relax and enjoy the scenery! The owners were very communicative. We would recommend this property!
