Enjoy a good old fashioned summer in this classic 1930's four-bedroom beachfront cottage. It is all about LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. Front door is 15 feet from one of New England's best soft-sand beaches - Long Beach! Wake up to breathtaking ocean views every morning.

This spacious home boasts 4 bedrooms, each with comfortable beds and plenty of storage space for your belongings. Enjoy cool ocean breezes or take advantage of the AC in each bedroom. The open floor plan of the living room, dining room, and kitchen makes it easy to spend time with friends and family all while enjoying the sunset views over the ocean.

The cottage still has many of the 1950ā€™s charm which we are updating over time but we have also made some recent renovations like new flooring throughout!

You're unlikely to want to leave this prime oceanfront spot but we are only minutes away from Rockport's Bearskin Neck, Whale Watching in Gloucester, and so much more!

My family, friends, dogs, and I loved our vacation at this lovely beach home. Very clean and accommodating. Excellent location. Excellent communication with the host, very helpful and attentive. We all had a fantastic time and tons of fun!! The children and dogs had a blast and made several friends. We definitely plan to book our vacation here next year!

Cute house, great location

We loved this cute little beach house with fabulous ocean views. Had everything we needed for our off season (November) beach vacation. My favorite feature was the large kitchen table in front of a wall of windows with an ocean view. The beach here is great for walks and there were plenty of rocks for the kids to climb on. A short drive into town for shopping and eating.

Salem vacation

It was real nice and quiet. Just a 25 minute ride to Salem. And a five minute ride to the stores and shops in rockport. The view of the ocean was amazing.

Beach house

We had a wonderful time. The house had everything we needed. Beautiful view. Close to Shaws supermarket and Common Crow which is a small market that has already prepared healthy meals. I loved shopping at Common Crow. Short drive to the wharf where all the really cute shops are. If you are a knitter like me go check out Hooked which carries so many wonderful yarns and the owner is great. I would definitely come back to stay At this property

Absolutely wonderful view and space and cleanliness. Dog friendly, great social atmosphere, would highly recommend to any family looking for a beautiful ocean front property. I have stayed here more than once and have plans to stay again next year. Host is extremely helpful, and available for any needs that may arise...(I got lost on my way there, totally my fault, and she was very helpful), my friends and family thoroughly enjoyed our vacation, I highly recommend this destination.

Wonderful Long Beach vacation

My family visits Long Beach every summer. This was the first time we stayed oceanfront and we could not have been happier. The location is PERFECT; falling asleep to the sound of the waves was amazing, the views were breathtaking, and the access to the beach was incredible. It's hard to find a 4-bedroom house that feels spacious; this home was just what we needed. Rachel was an extremely communicative host. Check in was simple and the handbook for the home came in very handy. (perhaps a printed copy left at the house would be helpful for those of us trying to stay off our devices :) Dishwasher and laundry were very helpful, as was the outdoor shower and the shed with tons of beach gear! Neighbors were all very kind. A note that you do have to pay for parking for the week (per car), which is an added expense. We would have loved three things: (1) recycling - we are very conscious of global footprint and know that Rockport has a wonderful recycling facility, (2) a little more love to the outdoor space - the neighboring yards are lovely and it wouldn't take much to add some color to this space, (3) a fire pit or solo stove for outside - we would have enjoyed sitting around a fire when the sun went down as many do on this stretch. Thanks for everything and we hope to be back next summer!

I have been coming to this beach for the last 15 summers. This is the first time we booked Rachel's house. It was perfect. It was spacious enough to accommodate 4 of us. We had everything we needed. Check in and communication was efficient and easy. The kitchen was well stocked, even coffee. The best part was sitting on the deck and watching the world go by, listening to the ocean waves while you sleep. We will be back.......

We absolutely loved our accommodations! The cottage was very comfortable and met 4 women's needs perfectly. Bedrooms were comfortable, kitchen was sufficient, bathrooms and showers had plenty of hot water . We loved sitting on the deck overlooking the ocean every day. Communication with hosts was seamless and respone immediate. We needed 2 screens fixed and this was dealt with right away, Alex was terrific! At this moment, we are all missing being there.

Great location and amazing views!

My family had a blast here, despite it being fall in New England (I can only imagine how great this would be during the summer). The house was great, the views were amazing, and the beach was only steps away. We fell asleep to the sound of the waves and woke up every day to watch the sunrise. This is a perfect spot for families/groups.

Beach delight

We had a wonderful time! The cottage is bright and spacious and very homey and well appointed. Each bedroom was equipped with individual air conditioners. The beds were very comfy There are awesome beach views with lots of windows and very easy access to the beach and ocean. There was plenty of free parking. Close enough to either Rockport or Gloucester. The cottage met all of our requirements- single story , 4 bedrooms, 1 1/2 bath, inside laundry, well equipped kitchen, on the beach, ample parking !! A must to visit !

Great location

This is a very comfortable home in a great location. Host provided great directions, communicated perfectly and quickly took care of a small issue with the code on the door. Spacious with a great view. The beds are comfortable and everything you need is provided. We hope to come back again!

I would suggest to have a few fans for the common areas for the hot days, but no problem, there was a ceiling fan. AC in all bedrooms, lovely. We love to enjoy Gloucester beaches, or adventure to local coffeeshops and breweries. When I'm not managing vacation rentals I am working for a local nonprofit mentoring middle and high school students or chasing around our growing toddler! We love traveling as a guest and getting to experience new places in unique homes. Some of our favorite spots have been in Sarasota, Santa Barbara, and Montreal. Or get as close as possible just by stepping down the stairs and pulling up one of our beach chairs right onto the water.
