We had the best time in Florida. This place was so safe, clean, easy to find, contact with the host was easy with fast replies! It was a wonderful location! Overall it was a first rate!!!

Excellent location

We really enjoyed our time together at Storey Lake. The location was perfect and an added bonus, we could travel everywhere we needed without sitting in the I-4 car park!!

Short stay for cheer comp

This was a great place to stay with the private pool and all of the community areas a available as we didn’t have time to go to the parks or any other extra activities so it was nice to be able to at least enjoy the pool areas. The only small issue was not having any of the basic needs like trash bags, dish soap, toilet paper, etc. if we would have known we needed to bring those items with us we would have. But the kitchen had all the other items we needed to make meals.

Lovely home

We had such a wonderful stay at this property. Everything was very clean. The floorplan was perfect for privacy and plenty of bathrooms to accommodate 3 women. The pool was wonderful place to relax. The community amenities were fantastic. I highly recommend this property.

Overall it was ok. Place really needs updating. Stove top wasn’t working some plugs didn’t work, tv in living room didn’t work, draining was horrible. Pool is a lot smaller then picture looks for sure and it wasn’t exactly what I was expecting as I thought it would have been more of a private home but it’s almost like a town house. The community waterslide/lazy River area isn’t the easiest to get to as you have to exit the gate and go around to another gate. Make sure you have washing powder we stayed 6 nights total of 7 people and had each 1 towel had to wash daily so kind of a pain when your on vacation.

Excellent amenities

Clean and easy check in process and amazing property with fantastic pool. Owner was terrific and worked hard through an unfortunate and uncontrollable situation. Despite that minor hiccup the owner took care of it and us as guest. Would definitely book the property again.

Great Location and Property

The location and house was great! Perfect for a short Disney vacation with the family. The pool outside stayed miraculously cool and didn't heat in the scortching sun. The only negative comment was we were missing top sheets from the 2 twin beds. Everything else was perfect!

Lovely house, great location!

We had a great time at this property. Our group was not so big (5 adults and 1 child - 7 years old), but the house is big enough to accomodate more people. It´s exactly as the pictures shows. It´s quite close to Disney Parks, specially if we consider other properties we have stayed in the past. There are also several supermarkets and shops very close by. I think the best way to summarize my experience is to say that I have plans to stay again at this same property in the future.

Everything was good, there are no kitchen towels and not enough wash cloths for each guest that the house can sleep. There are not 2 double beds in two rooms as listed, but one double bed and one twin. Thank you for sharing your place!

We visit Florida at least once a year and enjoy staying at this resort because of the amenities and location. The house looked even better in person than it did in the photos. My teenagers hung out at the pool most of the time and enjoyed swimming at night. The villa was nicely decorated and most importantly clean. Some areas of the villa could use some minor updating. But even with that we enjoyed our stay and plan to return. If you are looking for clean spacious beautiful villa than look no further. Book it before it’s gone.

Lovely Villa

A great villa in a superb location, close to Disney. There were excellent facilities nearby including a pool and gym which are included. My daughter loved the Mickey themed bedroom. The kitchen needs to be better equipment, for example there wasn’t any scissors, cheese shredder and most of the pans were scratched. There was also only one trash bag left which we thought was ridiculous for a two week stay. There were lots of ants in the house too and it needed a deep clean as the doors and walls had lots of dirty marks on them, plus our socks turned black from walking on the carpet. Overall the cleanliness needs to improve.

Made our reservations months ago, but I must admit I was nervous about this rental after reading some of the recent reviews. I communicated with the host before we arrived & all was good when we arrived. He took care of my concerns. Yes, the unit is a bit worn, but it is a rental after all. Things we noticed -- unit was very clean; beds were comfy; kitchen lacks supplies & dish towels; only 3 beach towels for the 9 of us; listing says sleeps 12 with the 2 extra bedrooms having 2 double beds each - in fact, those bedrooms have a double bed & a twin bed. The community pool & amenities were nice and walking distance from the unit. Overall a nice place to stay!! Close to everything Disney!!

Worked for What We Needed

Nice enough property but there things we wished we knew. A book or information about property and location of clubhouse/community pool would have been helpful. Couch was peeling and had to use carpet coverings to sit on so you weren’t covered in a bunch of white shredded leather. For the price we paid seems like furniture would have been in better condition. No pool towels provided. Needed to buy at clubhouse for $13.

Heartbreaking

Property is tired and needs freshening up! However I expect the property to be used, and to show wear and tear! I I didn’t expect a dishonest host on pool heating ability , ran me around with excuses for four days ! Seven year old granddaughter talked all year about swimming in the HEATED pool ! VRBO is just as greedy as my host! Y all got my money as promised, but you didn’t give me what I thought I paid for, sham on you !!!!!!

Family Disney Trip

We stayed at the rental for 5 days in March 2024, with 4 adults and 2 children (3,6). Communication with host was slow in response through Vrbo. House had clean bathrooms and towels, bedrooms and sheets, and kitchen. However the house is run down and could use some updating. The leather couch was shedding white pieces, dining chairs had rips in them, upstairs bedroom furniture was cheap, and kitchen was lacking in some basic essentials like sufficient number of drinkwear, cooking utensils and pans. Overall house needs a fresh coat of paint and carpets cleaned as our feet were dirty when walking around barefoot. We weren’t informed about the pool heater being down until we inquired the day before check in for heating the pool which we identified at time of booking months in advance. We were offered a small refund which was appreciated, and the community pool made up for it. House was sufficient for our time period as we spent majority of the time at Disney.

Neighbors were a nightmare

First 2 nights were hell and then we left. Neighbors had a huge party with extremely loud noise and smoked pot so much we could not go outside. First night till 1am. Second night till 4am even after the police were called. They threatened my 76 y/o father when he complained. Third we could not take it anymore and booked ANOTHER rental somewhere else to feel safe. I’m not going to say this is a common occurrence at this location but we had no help from the host other than telling us to call the police and well after I needed the help. The neighbors were thugs. Running around in the street with booze and yelling at each other. I get like we were in Detroit! The complete lack of help or even knowledge of common procedures of the community by the host was unacceptable. I had to contact the community and find out that they are able to send someone to use a decibel meter to assess the party and evict the renters next door. How do we known this, our situation would’ve ended much better. Bottom line, Poor communication and nightmare neighbors ruined this rental. I would not come back to this community, not this rental or any other in this community. We will only be renting full houses from here on out. I would never put my family through that nightmare again. I have tried to communicate with the host about some sort of compromise for our payment, but I have yet to hear back.
