Escape to a tranquil and rejuvenating stay at Gentle Breeze Cabins. Our peaceful retreat is nestled in one of the highest altitude points in SE Ohio, offering breathtaking views all around. This year, we have big plans to expand and update our cabin business, so come be one of the first to experience our newly improved accommodations.

Our cozy single room cabin is perfect for a romantic couples retreat or a solo traveler looking for a quiet getaway. You`ll find everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a luxurious king bed, a relaxing soaking tub, a refreshing shower, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private back deck with a hot tub overlooking our stunning views of Hocking Hills.

Recently remodeled, our cabin boasts a charming electric fireplace, a rejuvenating soaking tub, a modern kitchen and bath, a cozy memory foam mattress, and a TV for your entertainment. The property also features 4 cabins, each with its own private deck and hot tub, as well as a public shelter house and gathering area with a fire pit. As a small cabin, we have a cook top, microwave, toaster and full sized fridge for meals.

Whether you`re seeking adventure or relaxation, our central location in the Hocking Hills area has something for everyone. Enjoy easy access to nearby attractions such as Clear Creek Metro Park, Hocking Hills State Park, Neville Billie Adventure Park, Old Man`s Cave, Rock Stall Waterfall, Cedar Falls, and Lake Logan.

For your convenience, we offer firewood for purchase at $5 per bundle. Late check out (12:30pm) and early check in (2pm) are also available upon request for an additional fee of $55.

We welcome furry friends to join in on the vacation fun, with a $75 cleaning fee for pets. Book your stay at Gentle Breeze Cabins and treat yourself to a serene and unforgettable experience in beautiful Hocking Hills.

It was magnificent! The option to have the air conditioning on with the fan blowing constantly was a plus. The bed is very comfortable and the couch is a bonus. Space was not an issue lots of room for us and our fur babies! In the hot tub was amazing just the right temperature! Walk-in shower is a bonus.

This was my first solo trip and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The house was perfect and after a long day of hiking the hot tub hit the spot. The host was wonderful, checking in on my stay and all. I will definitely return.

Lovely cabin in the woods, off the beaten path so none of the typical park traffic is nearby, easy to find with GPS and the host's directions. Kitchenette was great for us to reheat meals we brought from home and make breakfast each morning.

Amazing place we really enjoyed our stay there. Everything we need towels plates etc one down fall is no vent for the stove top so it got a little smoky in there but other than that would recommend it to others and possibly stay there again in the future.

Our first ever barndomunium

We had a fantastic couple of nights in this spacious cabin. It was supplied with everything we could need. And the decor was amazing, right down to the perfect Christmas tree in the living room. Thank you for an amazing stay!!

A weekend to remember

Everything about this property, from the cleanliness to the care of amenities, was absolutely wonderful. The Blue Spruce will forever be a core memory for my fiance (I proposed here) and me. We absolutely cannot wait to return for another weekend of R&R!

Amazing Stay

Everything was clean and the pictures matched everything in person. Great communication with host and I would recommend this place to anyone coming to see Hocking Hills or anyone that wants a small getaway. We were about 15 minutes from town and about 25 minutes from the Hocking Hills park. My only thing that I would mention to anyone staying here is that the cabins are kinda close together and our hot tub did not have the most privacy as the others.

Overall, our stay was okay, but a number of smaller issues added up and took away from the experience, especially given the price for a short stay. The cabin itself was spacious and comfortable for the two of us, with enough room to relax. We especially enjoyed the fireplace it added a nice touch, and being able to change the flame color made it a fun feature. The location was also a strong point, with convenient access to several nearby hiking trails.However, several details throughout the stay could use improvement. Cleanliness could have been better, with dust and debris under the bed and an unpleasant odor in the refrigerator. Outside, the area felt neglected, with trash scattered in the woods behind the cabin, a muddy walkway to the front door, and random items around the dumpster area.There were also maintenance concerns. The cooktop had a large crack and felt unsafe to use. The hot tub jets were very weak. The shower lacked a shelf, making it inconvenient to store toiletries.The exterior condition also stood out, with portions of the back siding appearing worn and chewed up. The listing showed a privacy screen on the porch, but it was missing, even though nearby cabins had them. With another cabin about 30 feet away, this reduced privacy. The driveway layout leads to a dead end with no clear turnaround. Checkout expectations also felt excessive, requiring guests to separate linens, take out trash, and still asked to tip the cleaning staff.

We appreciate the feedback and will certainly review our cleanliness expectations. A few things I'd like to clarify with future guests; we do have privacy blinds outside. Like most blinds they can be pulled up or brought down. You do need to pull the string to pull them down. Our hot tub jet speeds are adjustable. This is a high end hot tub that is less than 2 years old and has 6 different settings available. We pick up and regularly maintain our grounds. We do not own the property before us when you pull in. The cooktop has a superficial crack on the far corner that happened shortly after we remodeled. It is nowhere near any of the functioning parts of the stove top and as the top is built in to our custom granite cabinets is not an easy "fix" nor is it needed for functionality or safety. We do have wood siding which is painted and maintained by pest control year round. In addition; we do NOT ask our guests to sort linens; or even strip beds. I'm not sure where this came from but our check out message explicitly states we do not expect guests to clean up and only ask that they take their trash out on the way. I am always available for questions or concerns or to help if a guest is having trouble locating or using something; such as the hot tub or blinds. I would've been happy to help or explain any of these.
