This little gem met all our needs. The only thing I could fault was the lack of instructions regarding the operation of the tankless hot water heater. A quick online search led me to everything I needed to know, but it would have been nice to have the info handy!Would definitely re-book this unit again.

Stayed for Golden Sky Festival!

This place was very convenient when going to and from Discovery Park, where the music festival was. It is only street parking but we had no issues. The place was clean, just had some damage to a few of the blinds. Communicating with the owner was easy and we received fast reply’s.

Spotless!

Spotless and uncluttered. Very nice VRBO and only 20 minutes from UC Davis campus. Pictures portray interior exactly. Try to arrive before dark as it is difficult to find in the dark! Has inspired me to declutter my house upon my return :)

Cute,clean updated duplex. Easy to check in. Very disappointed in not being able to check in a little earlier and leave our luggage a little later. Had an early arrival and a later departure with no where to leave our luggage. It was 50 dollars an hour to stay later. A few items needed some attention

Not worthy of being listed as a vacation rental

I used to own a home under vacation rental permit and this property clearly did not meet requirements. It was obvious they are trying to fix up the place, but there was still alot of old damage and unfinished work: there was no bbq, no hair dryer, the smoke detectors were in drawers, no CO2 monitor, no ice maker/trays, no water glasses, weeds 4’ tall and cobwebs, beds were uncomfortable, linens were old & dingy. We didn’t have any hot water so had to call the property mgr. Found out where the thermostat was, but no instructions. Requested a hairdryer from both mgr & host, 3 days later and still didn’t get one. The list goes on …

Inaccurate On line Description

The apartment was mostly as described, except that it only had one full bathroom as opposed to the one and one half bathroom in the description. Since we were four adults, only having one bathroom was a challenge. We really needed the additional half bathroom in the description. Last, the kitchen was equipped with all you needed to make meals but, the living room did not seat 4 adults, and the washing machine was very old and temperamental, stopping in the middle of the cycle and sometimes not spinning the cloths all the way. On a positive note, the check-in was seamless and they provide you with a number to call, and that was helpful.

Spacious and Reasonably Priced, Responsive Host

Nice location, handy to downtown, quiet neighborhood. Note: unit letter is not visible from the street. You enter through a gate and then find it.This needs to be in welcome message.Good kitchen overall. Kitchen wish list: spatula, dishrag, ice cube trays, mixing bowl, measuring spoons. Oven had white residue all over the inside, perhaps from a recent cleaning? An extra garbage bag would have been nice.Washer and dryer were handy and worked just fine--very nice feature for our 5-night stay.Problems that were fixed, once reported: 4 overflowing garbage cans out front, entry gate off its hinge, 2 shades in one bedroom had multiple missing slats (no privacy for one night) Problem fixed ourselves--2 of 4 bathroom lights were out. Fortunately spares were in the unit!Problem not reported -- toilet seat is loose, screws on the seat do not seem to be anchored well. Moves when you sit down.Problem reported and still to be addressed: hot water cuts in and out throughout the unit. Shave and halfway through, water goes cold. Wash dishes, and after a couple of minutes the water goes cold. Most importantly, attempt to shower in 2 minutes or less; water goes from scalding to freezing without warning. Turn it off and in a couple of minutes it will heat back up...briefly. Again, overall we were pleased with the spaciousness of the unit, the proximity to downtown, and the reasonable price compared to a downtown hotel. We would return.

I got a email saying not to have the AC under 72 because the coils would freeze. When I walked in the AC was set to 62. When I walked into the room I would be using, I noticed the blinds were broken. Broken to the point someone could stand outside the window and look in. I immediately emailed the host and let him know about the AC, blinds and also that I couldn't find the tv remote. The host asked if I lookwd everywhere. I looked again and went into the bedroom to look under the bed. When I looked under the bed, all the bedframe legs were broke in the middle. I let the host know I couldn't find the remote and the bed was broke. The host said he was contacting his team. About an hour later I sent another message to the hist about a status uodaye.
