Enjoy our gorgeous studio guest house adjoining a large pool on a quiet tree-lined street. The house is centrally located in West Los Angeles where the entire city is within easy reach. Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Westwood/UCLA, Hollywood, Universal Studios are all within a few minutes' drive. In addition, a golf course and tennis center are a short walk away as are West LA's first-class restaurants and theaters.

The newly built studio is modern and luxurious with french doors that open out to a large shared swimming pool and beautifully landscaped garden that has won several high profile awards. Visit the city's many attractions or just sit outdoors by the pool sipping a margarita while soaking up the warm Los Angeles sunshine. The studio has a beautiful spa-like bathroom with a rain shower and also includes a fully equipped kitchen, cable TV, internet, dining table and more.

Finally, we also travel a lot and know what a difference it makes when you have hosts that go the extra yard to make you feel at home. We really enjoy having guests stay in our studio and we'll always do our best to make sure that your stay in Los Angeles is comfortable, enjoyable and truly memorable.

A wonderful stay!!!

We had a wonderful stay here. The property is exactly as advertised and was spotless when we arrived. Sam and his wife were amazing hosts, helping when needed and giving us privacy during our stay. We had an awesome time!

A real gem!

Beautiful studio in a great location. The host was friendly and the little dog was adorable. I’ve stayed at numerous locations in LA and this was by far the best spot. I hope to book again.

This studio is well laid out and exactly as the photos represent. Debbie and Sam were very nice and accommodating. We will definitely return often.

Really cute flat with a nice shower, lovely pool and garden, great location, very nice host

My boyfriend and I stayed here for his birthday weekend and I also had a short professional conference to attend on UCLA campus. It was conveniently located to a lot of things we wanted to do and Sam was a wonderful host, providing everything we could possibly need. The flat was really cute, with plenty of closet space, living room, kitchen, bed, bathroom, and a really nice shower. I cannot emphasize enough how nice the shower was!!! I will definitely be coming back.

SUPERB!!!!!

Debbie and Sam are marvelous hosts. They showed us around the cottage, gave us some tips on how things worked and then let us be. They are kind, thoughtful and completely left us alone. The cottage is much nicer than shown on the VRBO. It is extremely comfortable and the shower is unbelievable. Everything works and the unit is well stocked. We have stayed in 100s of VRBOs and this is one of our favorites. Thank you Debbie and Sam.

Just lovely...nice hosts & great location

We loved our week long stay. Very clean, beautiful and spacious bathroom, well equipped kitchen and was all we needed. The hosts Sam and Debbie are very accommodating and gracious. The off street, free parking is a big plus for LA and the location was great. Upscale neighborhood with beautiful homes all around Very easy and quick access to the 405 and 10 so we were able to get to Santa Monica in less than 15 minutes and also very close to Beverly Hills, Westwood, Culver City. The backyard is a beautiful oasis with lovely plants, fountains with great sitting areas to just relax and enjoy yourself. We will definitely come back when we are in LA.

Enjoyed Our Stay

Hello Sam and Debbie, Our time there at your "hide-away" was just what we needed. Your back yard was an oasis of quiet and calm for a relaxing time there in the very busy city of LA. The location was perfect for our visit with our daughter and son-in-law, not to far from them, yet separate from them. Overall we had a wonderful time and we enjoyed our visits with both of you, and of course Toby. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in your studio apartment. Ron and Gail Graeser

Pleasant place in a residential neighborhood

The property is visually quite pretty, set back in a walled courtyard surrounded by succulents. With the pool just outside the door and the fountain burbling, it (mostly) felt very private. Visitors should know there's a home office upstairs from the studio that is occupied during the day, but we seldom heard the occupant (one of the owners). Location: The residential neighborhood was lovely and we enjoyed a few walks. Pico Blvd. (closest shopping street) is walkable for stores, coffee, and buses -- about 10 mins -- and it never took us more than a 10-12 mins to Westwood Village, even during morning commute. It's about the same by Uber to Trader Joes on National Blvd. or to Sprouts Market and restaurants on Westwood. Amenities: We found the bed lovely but it's worth knowing that it's not super firm -- it's a medium-soft futon-style mattress. The shower had good pressure. We appreciated having a full-size range for cooking! Below the range is a powerful microwave. We didn't use the pool or sit by the fire pit, though they were offered to us -- Sam did warn us that the pool is very cold. Communication: Sam and his wife were exceptional -- available but not intrusive, and responded to requests almost immediately. Overall we found our stay very satisfying and were very grateful for a quiet and homey place to land after our daily excursions.

Great location

Sam's place is ideally located for anywhere you'd like to go. Sam was friendly and helpful but not intrusive. The studio was the perfect size for me and my husband. Laundry facilities were a huge help for our 10 day vacation!! Would definitely recommend and stay again of we're ever back in the area. Thanks!!

Great location and quiet

This'll be a brief review as I wasn't the one to stay there. I booked this for my parents. First, I really appreciated how great Sam was about all of my questions about the place. He's really great that way. Seriously, I asked him a TON of questions. The photos that are posted are very accurate. Some of the highlights that my parents pointed out are: Quiet, secure, very nice host couple, and the washer/dryer was a very good feature.

Pleasant Stay - Clean and nice place!

Sehr netter Aufenthalt !

Wir haben das Poolside Studio so vorgefunden wie beschrieben. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden wir jederzeit wieder buchen. Das Studio liegt sehr zentral . Viele Ziele sind von hieraus gut erreichbar. Danke :-)

Schöne Wohnung/Studio/Apartment .... liegt zentral in einem sehr schönen Wohngebiet in LA ... Es hat uns sehr gefallen! ... Das Studio liegt im EG. ... separater Eingang mit Parkplatz .... Das Studio besteht aus einem Raum plus Badezimmer ... Küche, Sofaecke , Raumtrenner mit Fernseher und Doppelbett sind vorhanden! Die Fotos entsprechen ganz der Realität .... In der Nähe (1-2 Hausblocks,) 5 min. Fußweg durch das schöne Wohngebiet findet man Restaurants.... Es waren Stühle und Sitzecke am Pool ...

lovely

Sam and Deb are the perfect hosts... there if you have a question, engaging yet give you privacy. The location is great, feels rural and safe. The apartment has everything one needs, is nicely appointed and the bed sleeps very comfortably. Nice to sit outside by the pool and catch some sun while relaxing. Highly recommend.

Amazing location, perfect host

Sam's studio apartment was just as it was advertised -- modern, clean, convenient, with all of the amenities you need for a vacation or work stay. The location is ideal -- just a 10 minute walk to the new Westwood train, which will have you in Santa Monica in 15 minutes. You can also walk to Westside Pavilion, and to the best breakfast spot in Los Angeles -- John O Groats.

absolutely delightful and beautiful.

This is the most beautiful studio apartment situated off the main house . It is in a beautiful upscale part of Los Angeles ..easy access to every area and literally 10/15 minutes ride to any main Los Angeles area. The Studio has well equipped Kitchen ,tons of wardrobe space ..a living area and double bed and a huge walk in shower /bathroom there is laundry facilities right next to the studio. The owners are the most lovely people and made me so welcome and were very helpful if you needed help ..otherwise you have complete privacy . I just loved this place and will definately stay again ..it was wonderful .

Lovely spacious studio in a great location with fantastic hosts

I spend 4 days here over a long weekend and absolutely loved it! The studio was clean, spacious and had everything I needed. Sam was a delightful host and I would highly recommend staying here!

Rancho Park Studio

The property was exactly as shown in the photos. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The owner, Sam, could not have been more gracious or helpful. The only suggestion we would make is to have bedside reading lamps in place of the recessed overhead spot lights which would make it more conducive for individuals to read in bed. Otherwise, it was a most pleasant stay.

Comfortable, good location, owners were great.

This is a cute little studio apartment, in back of a home in west Los Angeles near Pico and Overland. It is well located, well accommodated, and the owners were great. Easy to get into, easy to check out of, and I will stay again.

We're a family with 3 children and have lived in Los Angeles for 20 years, having come here via Canada (Debbie) and Australia (Sam). We have a large lot and recently built the studio guest house at the other end of our property. We've thoroughly enjoyed hosting visitors and helping them enjoy their stay in the city as much as we enjoy living here.

The location is great. It's a short 10 minute drive to the beautiful beaches in Santa Monica and Venice where you can swim, surf or just watch all the interesting people walk by. Go to a concert at the world famous Hollywood Bowl, hike in one of the many canyons, attend a baseball game at Dodger Stadium or watch the Los Angeles Lakers play basketball. If golfing or tennis is your thing then you're just a short 5 minute walk away from the beautiful Ranch Park golf course and tennis center. Beverly Hills, Westwood, UCLA, Universal Studios and Hollywood are all also just a short drive away.

Into shopping? We have a very large malls within a short walk of the house and the open, famous Century City mall is a 5 minute drive away. Movies? The newly built Landmark Theater complex is a leisurely 10 minute stroll from your studio. One cinema even features 'lounges' where you can sit in luxurious leather sofas with tables where you can enjoy dinner and wine while you watch your movie!

The studio itself is very modern and luxurious ... there's a lovely fountain right next to the French doors that open out to the beautifully landscaped garden and shared pool. You're in the middle of bustling city loaded with attractions and yet the peaceful setting creates a little oasis of serenity.
