Kick'n K Farmhouse is located in the scenic Missouri Ozarks just 70 miles southwest of St. Louis. The Farmhouse was built in 1899, and has been renovated for your enjoyment. A covered outdoor living area connects the front yard patio to the back yard patio and horseshoe pits. This is a great area to kick back, relax, barbecue, visit. We also have Meramac river access available with a located across from a bluff that is very popular with floaters. We provide floating options, rafts and kayaks. Please ask for pricing and reservations. Half a mile downstream you can explore the Fishing Springs Cave.

Very nice farmhouse with beautiful views of hillside down to the river.

The property is very nice. The kitchen was large and the grill outside worked great. Plenty of room to relax. The girls enjoyed the rides. Our only disappointment was that there was no hot tub. We had read the reviews but didn't realize that they were from last year.

Omigosh Amazing

The river access isnt touted enough as a huge plus to this place. The house is nice and spacious enough for 12 people a mix of singles and couples. The hot tub is top notch. The hospitality of the hosts and their awesome dogs horses and even a donkey are stellar. I will be back and a thousand times would recommend this spot.

Great Get-away!

The Farmhouse is a fantastic weekend escape! Especially if you want to do a river float. Tracey, the owner, is really great to work with and very accommodating. We will definitely be coming back in the future!

Outstanding scenery, hosts and experience! We’ll be back!

Sweeping views of the Ozarks with plenty of room to stretch out! Tracey and Jeff were the most gracious hosts, and really made our stay outstanding. Loved the farm and would recommend it to anyone!

Wow!

My expectations were exceeded with this lovely farmhouse. Beautiful scenery, seclusion, plus all the modern conveniences of home (AND a hot tub)! Just an overall fantastic experience. Tracey and Jeff were the very best of hosts, and we will most definitely be returning to the farm. If you have a chance, please book a trip here - you won't be disappointed.

There are lots of farms in Missouri but none quite like this...

Found the Kick'n K Ranch and Farmhouse after an extensive Google search and am so glad I did. Was looking for the perfect outdoor getaway for a group of 12 guys seeking rafting and nature and couldn't be happier with my experience.The acreage and seclusion of the Kick'n K Ranch is incredible. Surrounded by rolling hills, trees, cattle and horses, the scenery in every direction was incredible. The proprietors, Tracey and Jeff, were awesome hosts, constantly exceeding expectations to make our stay a once in a lifetime event. Have already told my wife that we'll be going back as a family very soon.

Great Place!

This was our second time to stay at the Farmhouse. The place is clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Both times, there was 4 of us staying the night so we just rented the bottom floor. The beds are comfy and the kitchen is well equipped for anything you would want to cook. The hot tub is awesome. We will definitely return!

Farmhouse Weekend +

We had 9 people at the Farmhouse for a fantastic weekend. Plenty of room for all in the 4 bedroom home. The setting and the people that own/run this place is what we loved the most. First the people. They are extremely helpful, very accomadating, and just down right nice folks that want to make you stay as pleasant as possible. The Farmhouse it's self is older, with updated bathrooms on the main floor. Bedrooms are decent size and comfortable. Kitchen is good size with a table that can fit 8-9 folks around it. The yard is great for nightly firepit action (wood included), horseshoes, playing catch with a baseball or frizbee. The home sits on top of a hill overlooking a beautiful range. At the bottom of the hill is a very nice river with boat access (canoes, kayak......). You have your private access to the river, along with a great piece of land for more firepits, BBQ, shelter, picnic table. Fishing is pretty good at that location and swimming is great. The scenery at the river is top notch. Only draw back is no upstairs bathroom, but that is a very minor issue. We'd highly recommend the Farmhouse.

Pleasant Surprises await

There was the mystique of an older 'farm house'. The owners were extremely accomodating; the house was clean and well maintained; the amenities were perfect (fire pit, with wood, hot tub, shade, view, access to river; All was almost too good to be true. But it was true. What a precious find. We will not only return to this place, but are telling everyone we know what a terrific place this is to stay.

Wonderful Get Away

I can not say enough good thinks about Kick'n K Farmhouse, and Jeff and Tracey. We stayed for a girls weekend. They accommodated and helped us plan a trip to the wineries as well as a float on the Meramec River during our stay. The house was comfortable for our large group. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the beds were for a rental. The house was clean and well maintained. Tracey answered all of our questions and concerns and was great to work with. The hot tub was a lot of fun, and would be very nice in cooler weather as it was warm the weekend we were there (we were happy to have the air conditioning). The farm is beautiful and secluded, offering plenty of scenery and animals to observe. I would recommend this property, especially if you have a large group. Tracey and Jeff made it easy to enjoy the nearby attractions but we also enjoyed our time relaxing at the house. I hope my travels will allow me to stay again.

Excellent time on the farm

My girlfriends and I enjoyed a weekend at the farmhouse and loved our time there. This is a more rustic vacation than, say, a beach trip. Floating on the river, the opportunity to ride horses (which we did not do), living in a large and comfortable farmhouse--particular kinds of pleasures. If you live in St. Louis, the farmhouse is only 90 minutes from town--far enough to feel away from home, but close enough to be convenient. Tracey is a laidback owner and easy to work with. Contract was clear, house was as promised, no surprises. There are horses roaming, picnic tables outside for casual dining, a well tended hot tub, and picturesque views. There were seven women and enough beds for all (including a pull-out bed in the couch), which is pretty terrific (six beds in four rooms. One bed is a king). The two full bathrooms are beautifully renovated, and there's a laundry room if needed. We would have loved a second couch in the living room, but we pulled some comfy rocking chairs in so everyone could visit in there when it was too hot to be outside. We did a float trip, which was affordable and easy, with KicknK transporting us to and from the river for $25 each. Do be sure to bring your own bottled (or bottles for) water, especially if you plan to spend many hours being lazy on the river. The kitchen offered enough supplies (plates, pots & pans, etc) for us to make a nice breakfast and we used the grill outside for a great dinner. There is a dish washer in the kitchen. We visited in summer, and it was hot, but large trees in front provide ample shade on the side of the house where are the picnic tables. Harder to sit out back since there's no covering behind the house. The house had enough window AC units to keep cool, even at night, which was a relief. Wifi was included and was strong enough to allow some of the ladies to video chat with their children back home (very important and therefore appreciated). TV was an older CRT model, but we never even turned it on (I spotted a DirecTV satellite, so I presume it has the basic set of channels). We didn't get to visit the winery just down the road, which is too bad. KicknK seems to have their base of operation next door, so people will come and go--the farmhouse is less private than the cabin, in other words--but folks left us to ourselves. All in all, we were pretty pleased. Affordable, enough stuff to do, comfortable home, lovely rural setting.

Great place, with great people.

My group and I, 11 people in total, recently rented the Kick'n K farm house in Steelville, MO. We booked the home as part of a winery hopping tour, but the farmhouse was awesome. Even with 11 people in the house we all had plenty of room, sleep arrangements were great, and very comfortable! The farmhouse also come equipped with a 10 person hot tub, BBQ grill, bags (like washers), and wonderful scenery! As if having a great place to stay wasn't enough, the owners, Jeff and Tracey, were a pleasure to work with! They made sure we had everything we needed and made them selves available for whatever else may have been requested! Not only would I highly recommend the Kick'n K farmhouse, but my group will be back again in the spring!

Great Vacation Spot or Weekend Getaway

What a beautiful place to stay. We were on a girl's trip with 12 women and we were so comfortable in the farmhouse. The scenery is just awesome. Can't wait to stay there in the fall to see the foliage. Jeff and Tracey were such gracious hosts. The farmhouse is ultra clean and you don't want for a thing. Kick'n K is close to Steelville and all the activities around it. We love the place and can't wait to come back. We recommend this place 100%. Thank you again Tracey and Jeff for the wonderful weekend.

best bachelor patty ever!

Better than advertised! My friends and i spent two nights at the kickin k and it was wonderful. The house is nicer than advertised and the owners are great down to earth people. All twelve people in our party said that they would be willing to come back and stay again!

Women's weekend

As 6 friends who like to get away together, we enjoy a clean comfy place where we can stay together. The Kick'N K was a perfect spot for us with its big kitchen table for us to play games on and its wonderfully stocked kitchen as an added surprise. Oh, and of course the lovely hot tub to relax in! The listing photos show exactly what the house is like. We enjoyed a Christmas (Elvis tribute) show at the Cedar Street Playhouse in Rolla and the Christmas parade in Cuba. Ate at the Spare Rib Inn in Steelville for a small town down home meal and at Sybill's in St. James for a more upscale meal in a beautiful setting. We checked out The Basement just up the road for gifts and yummy baked goods and enjoyed Peaceful Bend Winery nearby. A hike at Maramec Spring Park was definitely a highlight! We ran out of time on our weekend to do all the things we hoped in the area. A return trip is anticipated. Great place to stay and get away!

GREAT PLACE! GREAT OWNERS

We stayed at the KicknK Farmhouse and it was just great. The owners Jeff and Tracey are the ultimate host. They made you feel right at home and like you have known them for years. The house is VERY clean and comfortable. (really great AC) also the hot tub was great for relaxing after a long day of riding motorcylces. The house is great for a large group. WE LOVE THE FARMHOUSE AND WE LOVED JEFF & TRACY AS WELL!!! THEY ARE A TRUE COWBOY& COWGIRL!! Loved the Kick n K Farmhouse

Jeff and Tracey are wonderful hosts and very accomodating. Thanks to them we had a great getaway at the Kick n K with our family! The house is nicely remodeled, clean, and well maintained. Plus, eight adults and four kids in our group and we had plenty of room for everyone in this charming old farmhouse. Also enjoyed the big yard with great view of the countryside, the backyard fire pit and the huge hot tub was awesome! At nearby Steelville we enjoyed a beautiful park in the middle of town where ducks swim with Rainbow Trout in the spring waters. It's the perfect spot for a peaceful, romantic picnic lunch or a family outing with small kids. Our grandkids loved the playground and especially enjoyed feeding the fish & ducks. Also right down the road from the farmhouse is the Peaceful Bend Winery which we loved visiting, all three times :-). Simply must sample the Grapes of Raft there. Next time hope to visit the antique shops and The Fountain in Steelville. Ran out of time this trip. We'll definitely be back again soon!

Great Place to Stay

Great Weekend!
