New studio apartment with king bed and full kitchen located in desirable Placer Valley subdivision in Alma, 12 miles to Breckenridge. Apartment is above the detached garage with private entrance. Relax with the Babbling brook right outside your door, amazing views, and quiet neighborhood. Great access to skiing, hiking, fishing, biking, 4x4, or simply take a walk along the south platte river that flows through the middle of the neighborhood in the valley.
Within 25 minutes of world-class skiing, hiking, fishing, off-roading, mountain biking, and restaurants. Located on a large property with a babbling stream right next to it, this property offers an escape into nature. Dip your feet in the creek, spot wildlife, rest below fourteen-thousand-foot peaks; Mt Lincoln and Mt Bross, and truly get away from it all while being so close to many amenities.
Private entrance, up the stairs to a stylish new studio. 1 king bed, table with 2 chairs, couch, tv with roku, washer/dryer, full kitchen and bathroom. We enjoy keeping the studio well stocked with plenty of paper towels, spices, olive oil & vinegar, coffee, cream & sugar, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. There is a dog bed, pack n play, and a baby gate in the unit.

IMPORTANT NOTES PLEASE READ: Four wheel drive or all wheel drive is HIGHLY recommended in November through May. The driveway and roads are plowed, but our high elevation valley gets a lot of snow. You will take a dirt road to get to the house. We strongly advise against coming to the Colorado mountains in the winter without a four wheel drive vehicle.
During the winter, it is likely that there will be snow and ice on the roads. The roads are well-maintained, but this is just a part of driving in the Colorado mountains.
The kitchen does not have a dishwasher. Our wifi is the best in the area (starlink), but only satellite internet is available in the entire county. The connection might not be what you are used to. Cell service can be spotty. The area is so beautiful you'll want to disconnect anyway.
This studio is in one of the highest elevation towns in Colorado, and altitude sickness is possible. Please be cautious, acclimate if necessary, and stay hydrated. The stars are incredible here, this is because the neighborhood is very dark. Please anticipate that there will not be street lamps in our neighborhood.
