Walk to Giants baseball & Old Town - golf next door, heated pool, gym; dogs ok

Come enjoy all that Scottsdale has to offer from the comforts of our 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo located at Sunscape (also called Sunrise Villas). We have furnished the condo with all of the comforts from home including a 50" TV with free Netflix movies, Pandora Internet Radio & Wi-Fi. Enjoy our well equipped kitchen for preparing dinner at home or walk just a block to find some fabulous restaurants.

One bedroom has a king bed, large built in closet system and an ensuite bathroom with a walk in showers, that was remodeled in 2023. This bedroom has a TV.

The 2nd bedroom has a queen bedroom and shares the full bathroom in the hallway. That bathroom was just remodeled in Dec 2025 and has a shower/tub combo.

Our favorite thing about the condo is the wonderful amenities at Sunscape Villas. There are two outdoor heated pools with hot tubs nearby, a state of the art exercise facility and an exercise/yoga room for your enjoyment.

We are located within a mile from Old Town so you have easy access to shopping, nightlife and the wonderful art galleries close by. If you come for Spring Training, you are just a few blocks from the San Francisco Giants and within a few miles of the Salt River Fields that host the Arizona Diamondbacks & Colorado Rockies.

Nice, clean, and comfortable.

The condo was clean, spacious, and nicely furnished. Nice to have two bedrooms and two baths. The location is very good with easy access to Old Town Scottsdale and other Scottsdale attractions. The area and surrounding units were quiet, which we like. Nice to have a dedicated parking space nearby. A big plus to have a washer and dryer in the unit, though it took a little doing to operate them. The owners were extremely responsive to our questions, which we greatly appreciate.

Winter stay

Convenient location to groceries, parks, shopping and restaurants. This condo was the best stocked unit that we have ever rented. From the kitchen having nice dinnerware, good pots/pans, lots of small appliances, new dish towels and cleaning supplies. The bathrooms were well stocked with new towels, rugs, toilet paper & cleaning supplies. The beds were very comfortable. The bedding was plentiful and clean. Enjoyed the gym & pool. And having a designated covered parking spot was nice. The owners were available if needed, and responded quickly to my texts/emails. Definitely enjoyed our stay!

The best place to stay in Scottsdale!

Look no further! I have been all over the world and across the U.S. Stayed at the Aria suites in Vegas, the Waldorf in Hawaii and the Kensington in London. Nothing compares to this cozy,private condo in the great old town of Scottsdale. What makes this different are two things; The hospitality of the owners ,and the gym and two pools with hot tubs and clubhouse. O.k that's 5 things 😁 So if you want to have a vacation that is exactly what you deserve..this is it. I honestly had that great of a stay that when i went to my next condo ,it was depressing. Thanks again Patti and Paul! Oh also close to the fashion mall,food and basically anything..now I'm up to 8

Great hosts and location

We stayed two months. The unit's location is ideal, a mile from Old Scottsdale and close to the 101 Loop, so access to the entire valley is easy. The unit is comfortable and well supplied. Paul and Patti are extremely congenial and reachable for questions and concerns. We also appreciate that the property is pet friendly and mostly quiet. The complex has a lovely pool and nice fitness center. There were the occasional minor headaches, with problems with a leak in the refrigerator, an inoperable door keypad, spent batteries in the thermostat and modem problems with the TV and Internet. Half the complex was without water for about 18 hours because of vandalism. All were overcome, though. We love the area and consider the Valley of the Sun our second home.

Great month stayed

We stayed at this property for a month and it was everything that we could of wanted. The location was great. The condo had everything that we needed for the month. We only had one issue with the locks, but the owners were very responsive with resetting the codes. I would stay there again.

Everything we needed

Loved our stay at this condo- it had everything we needed including a great location. We could walk to most places and were centrally located for all other activities. Pool area was great and the gym was well equipped. Was perfect for our needs.

Very nice but a few Problems

On arrival, could not get in. The traffic was light wand we got there two hours early. We knocked, no one was inside (cleaning or other wise). Texted owner and she thinks cleaner set lock to not being active before 4pm.. So finally got in. Noticed smoke detector was taken down from MBR and was in a bowl in living room???? No one fixed it or gave us advice. Also noticed a couple days later, side of refrrigerator was very hot. Handy man came that evening to clean coils and it was find there after. Complex was very nicely maintained. Signs to find pools would be nice. Bu we wandered and found them. nice map by mailboxes. We did not know about that. The guest book was very minimal. it was hard to figure out the internet password as it was crossed out one the one-page long guest book and it was hard to read the new entry. We kept guessing and eventually figured it out. Would be nice to have it on small info poster on wall in liviing room or kitchen. Heating/AC system stopped working. at the mid point of our stay. Paul was helful and we both agreed (Guessed) it might need new batteries in thermostat so gave that a try although he had just put in new batteries. . But that completely reset the system and after that, we could only turn it off by raising the thermostat set to a really high number like 89. We got several nice days in March with nice temps and no need for AC. All in all, we loved the pools but had to leave a few days early due to family illness that could not be addressed in Scottsdale (surprisingly). ER at Honor Healtlh was fast, good,, and a pleasure to work with. The pools were clean and well maintained. Some lounges are threadbare and ripped (not like in the cover photo on many websites). The HOA needs to do a better job taking care of furniture in common areas from normal wear and tear. J&D

Comfortable escape

We had a wonderful week at this property, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the community in which the condo is located has hostile signs posted everywhere about weekly rentals being against the community policy, which made us uneasy. The policy may be new, or our hosts may have graciously made an exception. No one said anything to us during our stay, and it turned out fine; but I think renters should know this is a community policy, not merely the preference of the hosts. (Next time, I'll plan to stay a whole month ; )!

awesome place!

The place was in a great location and was very well maintained. The owners were quick to respond when there was an unscheduled emergency water shut off. I loved the proximity to the golf range as I was able to walk to hit balls. Great experience!

Nice and quiet. Short drive to Old Town.

Great condo. Everything was as described and reviewed. Beds were comfortable and it was really nice to have 2 bathrooms. Nice community gym and pool. We liked the covered parking and the walking distance to the adjacent Executive par 60 golf course. There's also a grocery store two blocks away. We would definitely stay there again.

Very Confortable

We really enjoyed our stay. Very convenient location, we spent time at the many golf courses in the area and then played at the pool. The King Bed in the master was extremely comfortable. I look forward to a return to the property in the future.

Convenient Scottsdale condo

Great stay in Scottsdale! Condo was close to everything, 15 minute walk to old town, very playable golf course just around the corner, great restaurants nearby, (thai, mexican, Italian, etc.). Great pool and workout facility and an endless trail to work out any overindulgence. We'll be coming back next year. Thanks Paul and Patti

Excellent!

This condo rental was great! It was conveniently located and within walking distance to Old Town Scottsdale. The condo itself was clean and very nice. The pool area was also exceptionally clean and the lounging pool chairs were very comfy. If you work out, the workout area was exceptional!!The owners of the condo were very easy to work with. Sunny time in Sundance

Patti and Paul take pride in their property. Any questions or issues were answered and addressed quickly and this helped make our stay great! I found the condo presented well, and is well looked after. This unit had a lot of quality art, furnishings and high end linens and housewares.The location of the unit were great. It has a nice courtyard view and is quiet, and you could walk and bike everywhere. I would definitely say there again. My only suggestions: It would be nice if three were bikes available for use - just a suggestion.

Excellent value, cleanliness and tastefully decorated

We stayed at this condo from Paul and Patti during spring vacation of 2013. We were pleasantly surprised with the value and cleanliness of the property. We shared this condo with our friends to explore the area and see the desert and golf. There were some problems we encountered with getting our baseball tickets in time before leaving at home and Patti was right on that and came up with some solutions even though our tickets did arrive in time before leaving. We couldn't understand the TV system and called Paul during our trip and he was right there with some answers after contacting the cable company. We had our TV fixed in no time. It seemed that they had recently switched to a different cable company and our TV wasn't responding to changing the channels but just took a switch over of a button. They had some travel books for us to look at in our condo which gave us some good ideas of what to see and do. Paul even suggested some more golf options for one of us. There are golf clubs in the closet available to use and even pool towels and tennis racquets. The pool was very clean and inviting. Even though we didn't barbeque we wanted to because that looked very inviting but our limited time there didn't allow up for that. We didn't use the exercise room but looked nice but got plenty of walking time to Old Town and to the Waterfront shops and restaurants. I don't understand the poor review listed below because we got such great service with these people. There were plenty of condiments left from the owners and previous guests that we barely had to buy anything. Whoever stays there next can enjoy our pop, a nice cold beer, and orange juice. We also enjoyed the coupon savings card that they had in the drawer to the left of the stove for use at the nearby grocery stores. We drew straws for the extra large bedroom as a couple and we got the master bedroom with the king sized bed and it was perfect! However, our friends thought the 2nd bedroom bed was a bit soft. But for those folks who like a soft bed, you will like it here! I would highly recommend this condo and location for those people who want to golf and visit the desert! Thanks Patti and Paul for going the extra mile to make our vacation a successful one! A suggestion to you would be to get a couple folding chairs for use on the outside deck since we were two chairs shy with four of us staying in the condo. For those who want security and a very quiet location -- this is the place!

Condo is in a great spot with everything you need close by yet very quiet. Very clean unit with great restaurants and golf courses all around. We've stayed all around the Phoenix area and I must say this place is in the best location of all. We got real lucky with the weather (70-75 every day in mid January). Real surprised with all the outdoor activities in the area, from hiking Camelback, to running the extensive trail system that runs behind the units all the way into downtown, not to mention the great golf courses everywhere. Only regret is having to leave to soon!! Hope we can make it next year.

Less than advertised

We were very disappointed in this condo for the following reasons: No internet service available Oven was covered in dried grease and rust The burner pans were covered in foil to conceal burned on grease and rust. The clothes washer controls were difficult to access because they were located in the rear of the washer, buttons were broken. The floor to the second bath had no threshhold, leaving a gap between the hall floor and bathroom floor. Photos were provided to the owner with other issues regarding cleanliness.

The condo that we rented for 8 days in February 2011 lived up to all expectations. The description on the website matched exactly what we found. The condo was very clean, nicely furnished, and close to all amenities, The owners were also very helpful in making restaurant and golf course recommendations. The communication with them throughout the whole process (booking to check out) was also excellent. We will be coming back.
