Majestic Sun 509A -

Soft pleasing colors accent the comfortable and contemporary furnishing at this one bedroom beach view condo. Guests will enjoy ample accommodations and bedding for up to 6 guests. This includes a private master bedroom, a convenient bunk nook in the hall, and a pull out sleeper sofa in the living room.

Wake up to magnificent sunrises over the Gulf of Mexico as you sip your morning coffee sitting on the balcony. Spend a day of fun in the sun, swimming in the pool, the ocean, or just relaxing on the beach. Golf is only minutes away at many excellent courses and if fishing is your pleasure, piers and charter boats are close by. You’ll enjoy the amenities at this top of the line complex that features an indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub. All units have unobstructed views of the Beautiful Gulf of Mexico. Majestic Sun is just a short walk to Whales Tale beachside Bar and Grill. Also enjoy the water activates offered on the beach (only during season). The Destin area is filled with so many things to do! After your busy day, return to watch the sunset over the beautiful Gulf of Mexico.

Fifth Floor:

All One Level: Living Room with Full Sleeper Sofa and Balcony Access, Kitchen, Dining, King Bedroom with Tub/Shower Combo, Twin Bunk Nook, Hall Bath with Walk-In Shower and Laundry.

*Two complimentary parking passes are provided. Additional passes may be purchased for $15.00 each. Monthly winter guests must purchase a parking decal for $25.00 once the complimentary parking pass expires after 15 days.

*Majestic Sun is a smoke free environment with smoking and chewing tobacco prohibited in all common areas, including the garage, walkways, pools spa, and pool decks, as well as on the balconies.

*Based on the daily temperature and at the HOA's discretion, the onsite community pool for Majestic Sun is seasonally heated. The Seascape Tennis Village community pool is typically heated November - March 1st, while the Seascape Boardwalk community pool is typically heated October - April.

*Note – This property may have date restrictions that apply. All reservations submitted online are a request until receiving an email confirmation from Ocean Reef Resorts. I’ll start with the Pros. The Majestic sun is in a great location to the beach. The view from the room was wonderful. Cons The unit had a very bad musty smell as soon as you open the door. Definitely could use a dehumidifier. The living room couch is completely uncomfortable. Could not imagine a larger family trying to sit at it. It was just 3 of us. The outdoor patio furniture is uncomfortable. The master bedroom mattress should have been replaced 10 years ago. The unit is right next to elevators and trash shoot…constant noise. The entire condo is in need of a major update and make over. I would stay at majestic sun again. Just not this unit.

Simple, clean, and comfortable

We enjoyed our shorter stay in 509A. Condo was clean, King bed was comfortable, great oceanview. Our children enjoyed the bunk beds. Furniture and decorations was simple. There were plenty of kitchen utensils and supplies as well as two towels per guest. We also enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools.

The location of this condo is great, but the unit itself is heavily outdated and needs a major upgrade. It looks like the listing pictures were taken a long time ago, as the current wear and tear does not match the photos online.Furthermore, the building amenities have very inconvenient and frustrating rules. While the pool stays open until 10:00 PM, the pool restrooms are locked up early at 8:30 PM, leaving swimmers stranded. To make matters worse, there is no place to wash your sandy feet when coming back from the beach before 8:00 AM or after 10:00 PM. Managing beach sand and restroom breaks here was a constant hassle. I would not stay here again.
