Waterfront house on the upper most portion of the West Branch Delaware.

Enjoy 150 feet of riverfront access to some of the best dry fly water on the river. Just walk down the gentle slope into the river and cast away! Only a mile downriver from the bottom release reservoir the water temperatures stay favorable all summer long. The backdrop is a mountain called "Round Top" surrounded by sprawling fields and soaring eagles.
Come and relax at this newly renovated 3 bedroom riverfront house. Have coffee or drinks on the spacious deck and watch trout feed casually on dry flies. The house also features a covered deck, gas grill, large TV, washer/dryer, full kitchen, dishwasher and open concept living room and dinning room area.

Family Visit

We stayed for a long weekend and the place was great. It was clean and the location was perfect. Close to town and very relaxing by the river. Ron was a great host, communication was top notch, easy to work with. Highly recommend staying here.

We used this place when our son played baseball in Cooperstown. Though it was an hour away from Cooperstown, it was an easy drive and a great property. Seeing the cows in the front yard one day was a funny surprise - they had gotten out from the nearby farm :). The fly fishing was fun to watch. The A/C units in the upstairs worked great. I would have liked more wash cloths for the shower, but there were plenty of towels. The laundry was excellent to have. It was a wonderful place for 4 adults and 2 kids.

Great wedding weedkend

We were in town for a wedding at the Chestnut Inn. We needed a place that was close to the Inn because our 9 month old granddaughter was staying behind with her grandpa. That way her parents could get back to her quickly if needed. Also, other family members who hadnā€™t met her yet could come to the VRBO and hang out with us for the afternoon in a homey setting. We loved the proximity to the river, the porch and deck, the clean kitchen and the washer/dryer. The only drawback was the very steep stairs to the bedrooms, especially at night since the only bathroom was downstairs.

BEAUTIFUL RIVER GET AWAY!

Ron's house is beautiful! We loved the screened porch and river view. The house is well stocked with all the necessities (dishes, linen, towels) and is beautifully furnished and Ron is a wonderful, responsive host with a great sense of humor!

A few friends and I came for a fishing trip/ short getaway. I would have definitely stayed longer, had we all had more time. This is a great little house, clean and nice. Enjoyed the screened in porch and the proximity to the water. No issues, comfortable and everything you need!

Fly fishing perfection

I stayed over MDW with my dad and 2 kids. The house is perfect in every way. Itā€™s clean, spacious and the view along with the access to one of the most beautiful spots on the deleware river. The fly fishing was incredible ! We will definitely stay again.

Riverfront home

The property was directly across the street from fishable water. The Home included all things described in the listing the structure was close to fly shops, gas stations, pizza, Chinese, and other restaurants.

Place was great. Only shortcomings were the steep stairs to second floor and the pull out sofa/bed was very uncomfortable to sleep on. Other than these it was a great experience

Spent a few days with friends fishish the Delaware system. The cabin is in a great location, itā€™s spacious and itā€™s clean. Everything about the process was smooth and seamless. Iā€™ll definitely be back!

Paradise on the Upper West Branch of the Delaware River

My son and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend at this clean, newly renovated home with expansive river views from the covered porch leading to the sun-drenched deck. We started each day with coffee on the deck, continued to amazing fishing and ended after the evening hatch by returning to the deck with a cigar. We plan to be back soon and often. Great house, great views.

Deposit fly fishing house

Great area, very quiet except for public access to fly fishing area next door. They weren't noisy but were in the water across road and all over , actually. House was beautiful, beds very comfortable, very quiet at night. Porch has terrible musty smell which I suggest could be cleaned with Clorox to kill growth.
