Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space after an adventurous day in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. Highland Creek is a recently built modern farmhouse surrounded by natural beauty and outdoor adventure. A mountain bikers dream just minutes away from Dupont State Forest and Pisgah National Forest. An ideal location for exploring World class trails, along with the many attractions Western North Carolina has to offer. Conveniently located 10 miles from the Asheville airport, just a short drive to Brevard, historic downtown Hendersonville, and Asheville. Nearby attractions include several local Breweries, Farmers Markets, hiking/ biking trails,, Sliding Rock, several Waterfalls, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and the World famous Biltmore Estate and Winery.
The open main floor features the kitchen, living areas, along with guest bathroom and laundry room. The sofa in the living room converts to a full size sleeper sofa. French doors open up to a large inviting living porch which provides ample comfortable seating and a large dining table. Enjoy cool mornings and evenings on the porch, surrounded by the sounds of nature. Turn porch heaters on if needed or cuddle up with a cozy blanket. You can enjoy a hillside view where our mini donkey Sunshine and her best goat friend Mason will sure to be roaming. The second floor has 2 bedrooms/2 full bathrooms with King size beds in each. TV's located in bedrooms and living room offer Roku TV.
You will have full access to the entire house during your stay. There is a gravel driveway with plenty of room for 2 vehicles to park. Keyless entry makes check in and check out very easy. Prior to check in, you will receive important check in information along with an access code for the electronic deadbolt.

Wonderful stay

The property and house were really nice. We found ourselves sitting on the screened in porch every morning and evening. It was quite peaceful. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Great and Quiet getaway

For our winter retreat: loved the wood fireplace. Rooms were so comfy and cozy. Takes some driving to get places but that was ok. Loved our getaway!

weekend get away

We loved everything about our stay here. The house feels brand new yet very comfortable. Its located perfectly in the middle of Brevard, Hendersonville and Asheville. Will definitely return.

The house was immaculate and exactly like the pictures. We loved the screened porch with the daybed. The furniture was very comfortable and the home is stylish.

Modern farmhouse in a perfect location!

Clean, modern and cozy! We spent most of our time on the screened in porch in morning and evening and went hiking and apple picking during the day! Close to Pisgah, Brevard and Hendersonville. It was the perfect getaway and house for us.

A lovely farmhouse in a great location

My wife and I couldn't have been happier with our stay. The house is located on a quiet piece of property (at one point we just lay on the bed and enjoyed the silence), but it's also a short drive to anywhere we wanted to go. We visited several waterfalls, a couple of breweries, and even made the 35-minute drive into Asheville on day. The farmhouse was immaculate, and we will definitely visit again.

Tucked away gem

This property was even more incredible than the pictures. From the moment we pulled up we were amazed. Every little detail was thought through, the house was organized, clean, and we truly felt at home. We will definitely be returning!

Outstanding farmhouse!

This farmhouse is fantastic! The place is new, clean, and very well appointed. The screened in porch is a major attracting feature, and includes plenty of seating, fans, and even heaters for cold weather months. The host is very responsive, helpful, and obviously puts great care into the property. We would be very excited to book this place again, next time we vacation in the area.

BEAUTIFUL HOME

This home is so beautiful, quiet, and serene. It looks just like the pictures describe it. The screened in porch was an amazing place for relaxing and good conversation. Also appreciated how clean everything was. As someone who has rented many properties for our vacations this home is most certainly at the top of the list. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and highly recommend this property.

Perfect Farmhouse, Perfect Getaway!

Loved our stay at this beautifully designed & immaculate farmhouse! Every detail is perfect and guests’ comfort and happiness is clearly a priority. My husband and I commented that Carey should have a show on HGTV. The screened porch is what dreams are made of. Thank you for sharing this amazing home with us! We look forward to coming back!

Beautiful Home

The house is nestled not to far in the woods and it is absolutely gorgeous. The owners thought of everything to make this house a home away from home. Forgot something? It’s probably in the house. It’s very clean and comfortable with beautiful furnishings. Excellent choice for our weekend getaway.

Beautiful Home and Close to all the Places we wanted to visit

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property near Mills River, NC, and I cannot speak highly enough about our experience! The owners clearly paid great attention to detail, as every aspect of the property was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. The interior was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay. The amenities provided were top-notch. The host was very gracious and replied quickly to any questions we had. Will be back! Thanks!!

Best wedding weekend ever!

My now spouse and I just returned from this wonderful place today, I just couldn’t wait to tell you all how amazing of a time we had. The owners were kind enough to let me have hair and makeup people to come to the property, and we even did our first look on the property (since we were doing an intimate mountaintop elopement). The entire house is to die for and I especially love the futon on the screened in back porch. So relaxing! So well maintained, the easiest check out process. We will definitely be back!

Best one yet

The farmhouse is beautiful And super clean. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by a Doggo that I believe goes by the name of digger. He was very friendly and cool. Gave us a warm welcome and disappeared lol. The following morning we were greeted by a doe that seems to hang around, which was extremely pleasant. The location is perfect, Brevard breakfast diner was close by and so was Ingles supermarket which was a super plus for us. We loved it, and therefore we will Going back to the same farmhouse again. The owner of the farmhouse is just a text away, responds quickly and politely. I highly recommend this farmhouse, it was a wonderful stay.

Amazing mountain getaway

We had a wonderful stay. As beautiful as the property looks in the pictures, it somehow felt even better in person. The place feels modern and comfortable. We had 4 adults, 1 3yr old and 1 10 month old - and everyone felt comfortable together in the house. We had great communication from the owner - the main question we had prior to the stay was the possibility of an early check-in. The host was kind enough to work with us on that. The porch has heaters, which was neat, one of us even took a nap outside in November. The internet and appliances were excellent. The beds were king size and cozy. We had a few deer and white squirrel visitors. It was good vibes the entire time.

Favorite Rental Ever

Book it ASAP! This VRBO is hands down my favorite rental we have ever stayed in! It is exactly as the pictures depict, except better! There is not one speck of dust anywhere. Absolutely everything is pristine and incredibly well appointed. I never walk barefoot anywhere we stay, and yet in this home I was as comfortable as in my own home. The beds are cozy, bathrooms spa-like, living room comfortable, kitchen darling and incredibly well stocked, and the porch daybed and sofa are the perfect respite for private downtime. The location was a surprise gift of convenience to Brevard, Asheville, Hendersonville Flat Rock, and Saluda. There are tons of restaurants, breweries, mountain biking, hiking, kayaking nearby that we enjoyed. The host went out of her way to welcome us for our 20th anniversary. She was incredibly thoughtful and communicative. Thank you so very much for sharing your absolutely perfect home with us. We had an unforgettable 20th anniversary and can’t wait to come back.
