This place was purchased for one reason - to host AirBnb guests like yourself! It is designed with you in mind! We don't just rent our place out when it's convenient. This is our business. Let us prove it to you!

We know Chicago and we know what you want! Location was the #1 factor in our decision to purchase this property so that we could provide our guests the best experience possible!

The Space:
BRAND NEW beds and mattress's (and of course linens)

BRAND NEW leather couches (pull out queen size sofa sleeper), kitchen table, TV etc. You name it, it's new!

You will be staying in the famous Lincoln Park neighborhood which is the hottest neighborhood in Chicago right now and for good reason. It's bustling with business which means there are literally over 100 bars, restaurants, breakfast spots, coffee shops, pizza joints (Chicago knows it's pizza) and late night places to grub all RIGHT OUTSIDE YOUR DOOR!

You'll have access to all of Chicago with the Brown Line EL (train system) stop less than 1 block away and it only costs $2.25!

If Uber is your thing, you're not far from anything in the city so most rides are less than $10.

The place was clean and spacious. Other reviews of this place said it was bare bones and it is that. Some more decor would make it look more homey but if you’re sleeping here it’s perfect. If you have issues with stairs this could be an issue for some. Obviously the host has had some issues with prior renters. Check in was a little involved but once we got the codes for the doors everything went smoothly. Parking is a small issue but if you’re not worried about a small walk to the unit it is okay. Parking map provided could be better it was hard to read on the pdf file provided. Couple of things the tub should be replaced got a small rust spot near the drain and surround should be replaced. I read in other reviews there was not a toaster thought by now that it should have been replaced. Plenty of towels for bathing but there are not any dish towels and dish wash cloths provided if you wanted to wash by hand. It’s a nice location and beds were awesome. We had an awesome stay all in all.

We really enjoy staying at this unit. It was very clean and comfortable overall. Great location. Many restaurants and cafes nearby. Dan, the host, is very attentive and super nice. Originally, we booked for 8 nights but needed to extend 2 more nights, and he accommodated our request quickly. We will definitely stay again!

Great location, unit was very clean, spacious and just what we needed. My only suggestion would be having a handrail up the entire staircase as it was difficult when carrying luggage up.

We absolutely loved our stay here! From the moment we booked, the host was incredibly friendly and helpful every step of the way, always quick to respond and full of great local tips. The apartment itself was spotless, spacious, and had such a welcoming feel. The kitchen was fully stocked, which made it easy to cook a few meals at home, and having a washer and dryer right in the unit was a huge plus. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the CTA which made it super convenient to explore the city without needing a car. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we could not have asked for a better experience. We would happily stay here again the next time we are in Chicago!

I stayed here for a work trip so wasn’t looking for much outside of a comfortable bed and hot shower in the morning. Check in/out was easy. Upon arrival I notified the host that one of the closet doors was off the track. Not anything that would impact my stay but wanted them to be aware. The unit was very bare. The bed was fine, but the water temperature was luke warm at best. The towels were not bath towels, rather oversized hand towels that were thin and rough. The bathtub was damaged and probably had been damaged for awhile because there was a rust stain on the tub floor. There also was mold/black stains on the tile. There was not much storage room in the bathroom either. The location was convenient for my needs, but I would not stay at this location again due to bathroom.

Great find in Chicago. Clean, well maintained (the skylights are fab) and in a good location. We highly recommend this flat and would stay again ourselves in the future.

The location of this property is definitely the star. It is ideally located in the center of Lincoln Park. About a 1/2 mile south of Wrigley and a few blocks from an el stop. And then some great restaurants, bars and shops within a couple of blocks (make sure to hit Delilah's and Broad Shoulders Coffee!) Street parking wasn't too difficult. The apartment is clean, quiet, and basic. As noted from earlier posts, the stairs to the 3rd floor might be a struggle for those with mobility issues. Other posts mentioned the cleanliness of the stairs which has been remedied and looked nice. Great communication from the host. Apartment was easy to find and check-in/check-out was seamless.

Our stay was excellent! Comfy beds, good water pressure and heat, full kitchen, well lit. Only two things of note: the provided towels mentioned in the listing were not shower-size, they were sized for drying hands. Second thing is that the TV box seems outdated and couldn't get a lot of channels, but we barely used it. Would stay here again!

Great location and great communication! The beds and bedclothes and towels were great and the bathroom fine. I would love to see a bit more decor and a more self-explanatory lock from the inside, but I would be very happy to stay here again.

Great place! Very much enjoyed our stay! The host is quick to reply to messages. Check-in instructions were easy to follow and arrived on time. Also received a reminder on the check-out instructions the day before, which I greatly appreciated. Good location to the brown line. Would definitely recommend to others and look forward to staying again!

Good and Nice

Overall the place is nice and the actual apartment is clean. It is also very barebones - and isn’t very comfortable overall. The building itself is a bit rundown. The check-in process was smooth and I received the lock codes exactly as had been communicated.

Good location

My daughter and I stayed here. It is an older building and so is the unit. The furniture, rug, kitchen etc. are fine but older and well used. It was very convenient for visiting family who lives nearby. We did walk about 10 minutes in the snow to get to the building from a free street spot. The unit was clean but the stairs to the door and the next set of stairs up into the unit were not. It looks like the pictures online.

We needed a place to sleep with our 3 young adult sons over the Christmas holiday and this place was perfect for that. It is very basic, but also much less expensive than most other places in this area, and in an excellent location. There are 2 coffee shops just around the corner and plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. The rooms are clean and spacious. The bedroom has blackout curtains and comfortable beds. Seeing that it is located on a fairly busy street, the apartment was very quiet. There are 2 (pretty dirty) flights of stairs with the second one landing directly into the apartment without a safety gate or anything like that, so this may not be a suitable place if you have small children. I communicated with the owner a couple of times during our stay and always received a very prompt and courteous response, even on Christmas day! Would definitely recommend!

Chicago stay

The bath sink was slow draining. This was solved promptly. Another issue we had was the temperature was cold. For two nights we needed extra bedding to stay warm. This problem was not solved for us.

Simple and what we needed

This is a very basic property, nothing fancy, but was exactly what we wanted- a clean, safe, basic place to stay while visiting Lincoln Park and Wrigleyville. There was a handrail on the stairs that needed securing, and some stairs to climb, but other than that, th linens and bedding were all clean and the accommodations were fine.

It has it's upside and downsides.

First, this is a two story walk up with 2 flights of tricky stairs. If you have mobility issues or small children, this is not the place for you. Both stair wells look like something out of public housing. The carpet on the stairs is old and very dirty. The stairways are dirty and full of spiderwebs. The unit itself is large and roomy. Not very well stocked with what you would expect with a VRBO, no toaster, no ice cube sheets or ice maker. Beds are very comfortable. Location is outstanding!! Five minute walk to the Brown L station and a bus stop right outside the front door. You can pay for parking on the street out front or look for free parking in the surrounding side streets. 10-15 minutes on the brown line to the loop and about a mile to Wrigley Field. Very nice, quiet and safe neighborhood. Price is outstanding for the location. Couple small improvements and this could be a 5 star location.
