Beautiful house in a very nice neighborhood and setting. Beautiful view of the water. House was spacious and many features for entertainment. We only stayed one night but would definitely return.

Everything was great. Definitely recommend to anyone for a trip to Lake Cumberland. Beautiful view and nice set up for family or friend trip. Close to a lot of fun places and marina.

This was a beautiful home with a gorgeous view of the lake. Very clean and well kept and decorated so nice. We docked our boat at Lee's Ford and it was super convenient to go back and forth to the house and boat. We couldn't have asked for better! Very much enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

Family 4th of July weekend trip

House is awesome. This is our second time staying at this property. Rented boat for two days and the house was perfect for relaxing after being on water. Owners are very nice and easy to get in touch with. Although there was no need to reach out. My daughters already want us to rebook.

Family and friends lake trip

This house was beautiful and the owner was very responsive before, during& after our trip. Beautiful view of lake Cumberland. I would definitely recommend staying there.

Wonderful experience

Positive experience from beginning to end. This beautiful home was clean and able to accommodate multiple families. Great location, fantastic view of Lake Cumberland! Definitely recommend.

Family get together

This home and the owners are fantastic! It was perfect for our whole family to get together. Everyone had their own rooms and bathrooms. Everything was well stocked from towels to soap to kitchen items. We hope to come back sometime!

Volleyball Tournament Stay

This worked perfectly for our volleyball team to stay for a weekend tournament. There were plenty of rooms and space for everyone. The property was very clean and easy to access. The host responded quickly whenever I had a question. Definitely want to stay here again!

Lovely modern home with a great view

We had a great time at this property. Everything was clean, nice welcome basket and great view. The parking passes and slip at Lee's Ford is a nice value add if you're going to bring a boat or otherwise spend time on the water. We cooked most meals but there are a couple nice restaurants close by as well if you want that.

This Christmas we decided to get a place big enough for us and spending time together instead of presents. The anchor down was perfect lots of room, cozy and so beautiful!

The perfect family get away!

We had 20 people in this house (12 adults and 8 kids), for a big family get together. This was the absolute perfect house! There is so much space and we loved the enclosed porch for the littles to run and play on. The house is close to the marina and grocery stores/restaurants. The host has great communication! Highly recommend!

Only the Lake View Can Compete With This Superb Home!

Home is one of the nicest, best decorated, best kept and best stocked rentals possible! Owners have done a wonderful job and attended to the smallest details to make their guests comfortable. All the comforts of home are included in this property and owners communicate well. It is close to dock where they provide a boat slip and the experience of sitting is the ample furnishings on porch or in the living room to see one of the best lake views simply cannot be beat!

Amazing Lake Cumberland Weekend Trip

Family and friends all met in Lake Cumberland for the weekend. The house was gorgeous and super clean! Very modern amenities had areas where kids could unwind, and parents could also enjoy space. The owner was very responsive to an issue we had and fixed it quickly on a holiday weekend!! Great communication, and great time! Can't wait to come back!

Beautiful home

Beautiful home. There were 12 of us and there was plenty of room. We were supposed to have 15 and I think that would have been a little tight. The couch is counted as “beds”, so I don’t think that would have worked since it was all adults. So we were slightly thankful we didn’t have that many! Only negatives were there being no dish towels, hand towels, or extra blankets in the home. We found ourselves using the larger towels for hand towels and washing them. Other than that, the home is amazing! Outdoor living space was our favorite to just sit and chat! Would absolutely recommend and stay again!
Girls weekend! Perfect meeting place since we were coming from Montana, Kentucky, Missouri, and Illinois!

There was no functioning air conditioning from the day we got there despite this being an ongoing issue told to us by the maintenance person. We had to purchase fans ourselves to maintain airflow.Dirty floors. Garbage was left both in the house and garage. The trash collector only took what was inside the provided bin, so when raccoons got into the overflow trash, we had to clean it up ourselves.Insufficient garbage capacity — a home that sleeps 22 should have more than one small garbage bin.Uncleaned basement bathroom with visible bugs and an unsanitary bath rug.No dish towels, dish rags, or kitchen scrubbers provided. Overall cleanliness and supplies were unacceptable. Would not recommend this house.

July 4th Family Vacation

We booked this property much later than usual family trips. The property was very nice and we only had a few hiccups regarding our boat. The evening we checked in, we were contacted by the property owner in regards to our boat. I’m pride myself on being very detail oriented and when I was contacted about the boat being in the driveway and I was able to talk privately with the owner, I was a little caught off guard about the approach. I apologized multiple times and let her know I would rectify the situation immediately, which we did. Later that night I went back thru all my emails to see if I had missed something like an email etc about the do’s and dont’s. The only thing I found was the original listing that stated”Please note the driveway isn’t quite big enough to fit a boat, trailer and truck”. I took that as a cautionary advisement not an indication that no boats are allowed in the driveway. We also had an issue at the marina when we went to dock the first day on the lake but the marina quickly took action. I sent a message to the owner to make them aware of what happened at the marina as well as a few notes when we left and haven’t heard back regarding either. That’s a little disappointing but overall the property was clean, large enough for my family and close to the marina/town.

Anchor Down is located right off the shore of the beautiful Lake Cumberland! This estate is towards the back of a safe neighborhood labeled, The Vue. All of the neighbors in this neighborhood are kind and respectful and we ask of our guests to do the same. Of course, what we love most about our beautiful home is the view. We believe that our home has the most valuable sight right in the back yard. Winter, Spring, Summer, or Fall, Anchor Down has yet to fail us with the outstanding landscape!
