This classic 2400 sf house was built in 1966 and is conveniently located in a popular SW Reno neighborhood with easy access to restaurants, bars, parks, and walking trails. The one-level home sits on a 1/3 landscaped acre and is very private, featuring three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a pool, and city views. The primary bedroom has an en suite bathroom with a sliding glass door to a private patio with city and mountain views. Bedroom 2 is adjacent to the second full bath and opens onto the pool. Bedroom 3 has a pool view. A bonus room with its own private patio and city views offers a queen-size sleeper sofa that is adjacent to the powder room. The large backyard offers great entertaining and lounging space with a 2-level deck that provides beautiful views and a vintage fireplace. Only 10 minutes to Reno's downtown and midtown districts, one hour to Lake Tahoe, and 10 min to airport, this is your perfect vacation getaway! Well-behaved dogs welcome upon approval.

A Dream Property!

This home and its owner are just amazing. The pool is so nice, my kids practically lived in it. This home is completely equipt with everything you could need and in the best neighborhood in Reno. We will absolutely be back!

A wonderful choice! It is relaxing, comfortable, clean, quiet, safe, has beautiful grounds, inviting pool, views, a welcoming home! Awesome home. Felt like home.

Rocky's home is so beautiful. So peaceful, and his beds are so comfy. We love his backyard and front of his home. We would stay here again when we go back to Reno. Communication was awesome with Rocky and Launie. Thank you for opening your home Rocky for our vacation.

Reno get away

Nice home on the ridge. Views are partially hidden by the surrounding area, but that also makes for a nice private setting. Backyard is very private & comfortable. We had a group of baby quail hatch while we were there making for great entertainment as Mom & Dad paraded them around.

Comfortable & beautiful home getaway

Our family was in town for my father in law celebration of life. It was so great to have this beautiful home to retreat to when after completing the preparation for the service. The interior decorating and furniture of the home are absolutely amazing! So comfortable and welcoming. The views from the home over looking the majority of the City of Reno - beautiful! Thank you Rocky, our family loved your home!

Amazing Property

What a beautiful home, and fantastic location. The pool was awesome to have during the warm weather. The home is located in a really nice neighborhood of SW Reno. The Steamboat Ditch Trail is just up the road, so you have 15 miles of trail to run/walk. There is also a nice park just up the road, and really close to town. My parents and I would totally rent this place again.

Great house for my family

We came to Reno for my nephew's wedding. This was the perfect house to stay in with my kids and grandkids. The pool was warm and a great depth for my 4 year old granddaughter. There was a lot of space for all of us. We used the barbeque and really enjoyed hanging out at the house. There are so many fun things about this house. It's great for entertaining. I highly recommend this rental!

Very clean and comfortable!

My family and I stayed at this property to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from UNR. The property was very clean, well maintained and it came stocked with everything you would have in your own home. All three of the nights we had plans for dinner out, but everyone opted to stay in and take advantage of the pool and the amazing outdoor space. With the owners consent we brought along our 2 small pups. The master bedroom had a doggy door connected to a dog run that was incredibly convenient. The home decor was inline with the mid century theme and it was interesting to see all the pieces of art displayed. Communication with Rocky, the owner was very responsive. We made some great memories at this property and we are grateful we chose Rocky’s place over all the other options in Reno. If you’re looking for a quiet place away from downtown and in the hills surrounding Reno, this is an excellent choice. Finally, the sunrise view from the master patio was breathtaking as the weather was perfect while we visited Reno!!

Perfect home and perfect host for the best stay in Reno.

My husband doesn't get to go on trips with us as often as we'd like, due to his work schedule. This time, he was able to and we decided while we visit family in town that we needed a family home with a built in pool to relax and unwind. From the pictures online, the home looked relaxing. The home in real life was WAY better than expected. There really weren't any pictures on VRBO of the amazing city view from the backyard; especially at night. We had multiple thunderstorms happened during our stay at night and they were amazing to watch from the back yard sitting area(s), yes that's plural... The home is impeccably decorated. I love the owner's personal touches and style reminiscent of the 60's. The home is so clean. Everything worked and all appliances were very easy to figure out how to use (microwave, toaster oven, convection stove and 2 ovens). Nothing broke while staying in the home for 10ish days. This host had thought of and executed on every detail, including toothpicks for our charcuterie board and nail polish remover for my teen girls and my nails. The towels were quality brand and cute. The bedding and sheets were impeccably comfy. The Master Bed. 🙌 my husband and I both usually get some sort of strain or back hurt that happens while sleeping away from our own bed. Not in this bed! It was magical! It is a zero gravity, with a remote for massage and moving head and feet up and down. (Rocky, I would like more info on the bed please, to get one for my home.)
