Lake Koocanusa Beach-C/W dock

Beautiful secondary suite on a Lake front property lot. House has a large deck with stunning views. Definitely a must see. Cottage has full access to beach that is on property, has a spot for your boat, on the dock located right on the property. Bring the family to enjoy the vast amount of amenities in this beautiful Oasis. Property is brand new and completed June 15, 2023.
Sunshine Houseboats waterpark is only10-15 minutes up the road.
Lots of Hiking and Mountain Biking
Ride right out of house on your dirt bikes, quads and side-by Sides. (Please stay on side of road-follow rules closely)
House is located in a marina, so very protected from wind and waves. Perfect spot to get your swimming training in. Also great for kids. Just a reminder though that our house is on lake Koocanusa, water levels fluctuate throughout the year. Dock is useable from middle to end of June to December. Great for fishing in the fall, and it’s super quiet here. Park your fishing boat right on dock.

Our host was responsive, kind, and wanted to ensure our stay was comfortable. If we needed help or had questions, they were answered promptly. The host accommodated our needs and requirements and was respectful in their communication. The rental was exceptionally clean, let in ample sunlight, and was very spacious. The kitchen had the basics for any morning routine, including a coffee maker, microwave, and cooking and cleaning supplies.The beds were very comfortable, and blackout curtains were ideal for sleep. Complimenting the sleep setup was a fast-reacting thermostat so we could have warmth in the morning and cool as we settled in for sleep.We felt at home, and I loved the high chairs and the counter facing out the window to plug in and work on my laptop in the morning. We would definitely stay there again in future.

Beautiful property ! Perfect location in Koocanusa Village on water. Home has all the amenities you need for a vacation with friends and family. Owners house is just in front of being right on the water, but you can still see the marina from the patio. Turf grass, sandy beach and dock lead right onto water. Kove is the ideal place to paddle board, swim, and even fish. Highly recommend this property

Koocanusa Village

Great 3 bed, 2 bath, separate from owners house. Clean, tidy, well equipped with utensils, towels, linens, toiletries, ample parking, own deck with BBQ, nice partial views of the lake and dock for your boat. Very good experience with owners.

Excellent property. Great family fun

Family and I wanted a lakefront stay and this property fit the bill perfectly. Right by the water but in protected from the open lake by the marina area. Kids and I SUP'd and played in the water. Lots of room within the property, kids loved the bunk beds. The marina store had some provisions if you forgot any (bread, liquor, etc). Host was readily available and checkin/out was a breeze. I would definitely stay here again. Great first experience at Koocanusa

The Dock With No Water

The property was wonderful and the interior was modern, had air-conditioning which was definitely needed, was clean and fully stocked with pots/pans, utensils, small appliances, etc. you would need to make meals. The furniture and the beds were extremely comfortable. Our host answered my emails promptly and the directions she gave us to get there was spot on.We had brought a small boat with to be on the water fishing and what drew me into this particular rental was the photo of the dock in the water. Little did I know that the water is only there mid June at the earliest so we did not have a dock in the water for the boat ... instead it was a dock in the sand. Lake Koocanusa is drained throughout the summer and autumn months as the dam on the US side uses the water for electricity and for their own downstream uses. It takes until mid to late June for the spring runoff on the Canadian side to refill the lake. Fortunately we did find a spot where we could launch the boat from the trailer into the lake and we were able to enjoy fishing and exploring along the shore. The only improvement that I can think of would be to interject one word into the title of the photo and that would be"seasonal" dock.
