Lakefront Cabin

Come enjoy the lakefront of Central Maine. Located steps from the shore of China Lake, is this 2 bedroom, 1 bath seasonal cabin. Listen to the sounds of the loons and watch the eagles. Fish and swim off the dock. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the enclosed porch only 10 feet from the water's edge.

Bedrooms are furnished with a full size bed in one room and twin bunkbeds in the other. Queen size sleeper sofa in the living room. Additional space is available for tenting on the property.

Heating is provided by a newly added gas stove to take the nighttime chill out of the air.

Electric range and gas grill provides ample cooking opportunity.

Come enjoy the morning sunrise over China Lake.

Overall experience was good. Would have rated it Excellent, but for the following: 1. The instructions for access are lacking in details, especially for folks who have never used these types of lock boxes and door handles, tricky to get to the key and unlock and lock the door. 2. I contacted Ken and never got a response and found that disappointing. 3. For 2,000 a week I expected more regarding the bed mattresses, very uncomfortable. Not anything can be done of course, but for a big person, the shower is very tight. Again, the overall stay was good, but will look for another place in the future.

"We had an absolute blast at this lake house! The location was perfect for our family, with plenty of opportunities for boating, fishing, and swimming. The house itself was cozy and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing vacation. The views of the lake from the deck were stunning, and we spent hours just sitting there, watching the sunset. The kids loved all the outdoor activities, and my wife and I enjoyed some much-needed R&R. We can't wait to come back and experience it all again. Highly recommend!"

Perfect little getaway

My family and I attended a concert at the Bowl in the Pines and wanted to make a weekend out of it and found this perfect little cabin right on the lake! Kids absolutely loved swimming, fishing and canoeing! Great spot for family bonding! Thank you!

Lovely little cottage on the water

We loved our long weekend here, used the stand up paddle board (itā€™s not on the listing but they have a standup paddle board, a canoe, and cornhole available for use!), fished off the dock, and went canoeing around the lake. The views are simply beautiful. Great place for a family, we were four adult adults so the bunkbeds were not quite our style, but the pullout sofa worked and was pretty comfortable. If we ever make it back to this part of the country we would definitely rent it again! Make sure to bring your own drinking water because the water for the house is from the lake.

We didn't want to leave!

This lakeview camp was absolutely perfect for my wife, our daughter, granddaughter and I. Thankfully, they were able to join us from Wisconsin and there was no fees nor additional charges. (We could have had 2 more grand children). The dock has protection for the boat, tie downs and cushioning as the waves came in. It is well kept and convenient to fish from. We caught so many fish and nobody bothered us the 4 nights we were there. My next vacations I would book again!

Great Home Base for Our Annual Fishing Trip

This was a great spot for our group of 4 guys to enjoy our annual fishing trip. China Lake is one of our favorite bass fishing lakes in Maine and this cottage served as an ideal location from which to operate from. Ken was a gracious host and we had no issues with the property or communicating before our arrival. The brand-new dock with boat bumpers was the cherry on top.

Very clean small place on the lake. Ken was great to deal with. Parking area isnā€™t paved or graveled so off road vehicle would be good for wetter days. Fun fire pit area and wood all prechopped. Great stay will do again!

Bass fishing China Lake

Had a good time, everything went well, spent three nights there. Nice view out over the lake from the dining table. Cabin was well equipped. Had a great stay and looking forward to possibly staying again next year.

Peaceful & Relaxing

My daughter, sister and I had a wonderful time! I really enjoyed listening to the loons throughout the day & night. I just loved sitting out on the dock having my morning coffees. I also really enjoyed the lanai area for looking out over the water. I had plans to get out more while up, but was quite content with just staying in and enjoying this lovely camp.

Perfect spot for a getaway

The kids kept saying it was one of our best vacations ever. They loved jumping off the dock into the water and going out a little deeper on the paddle board. They ate smore after smore next to the campfire at night. The interior of the house was clearly recently updated and looks fantastic. This place is great for families, couples, or a friends trip.
