This quaint, sunlit home is stylishly furnished and has everything you'll need: new and very comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen & AC! Alpine Park across the street is a full city block of grassy space, basketball courts, playgrounds, and the summer Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings. On the edge of downtown Salida, literally around the corner from shops, galleries, restaurants and 4 blocks from the river! Ask about renting it with neighboring house "Turn of the Century Gem"! Newly installed central AC--though we doubt you'll need it except for a week or so in the summer when we get our "heat wave."
If you want to stay in and cook, youā€™ll enjoy the well-equipped kitchen or grilling out in the backyard. Or order curbside pick-up or delivery from one of Salida's many nearby restaurants.
Our cleaning standards have always been very high (as you can tell by our reviews), but with the advent of the COVID 19 threat, we've doubled-down our already high disinfecting standards to ensure the safety of our employees, guests, and our entire community.

Beautiful place to stay

This house was a perfect place for the 3 of us to stay for part of a week. Beautiful house, easy walking to anything in Salida, and easy access to points up and down the valley. The hosts were terrific and the entire experience could not have been better.

Fabulous location across from the park and next to downtown. Totally equipped kitchen, even had an instant pot. Climate control was very pleasant.

Stayed for a 3 day weekend over spring break and had an amazing time. Host was friendly and accommodating The house was clean and stocked with linens, all kitchen utensils, some board games, etc. I will definitely be staying again next time we come.

A perfect holiday home away from home

My family stayed at this sweet Alpine Park home for Thanksgiving and the holiday weekend, and we couldn't have been happier! It was beautiful, cozy, and had everything we needed. Cozy, Clean and Cute

My friend and I had the best weekend in Salida! The house was perfect for our stay. It was super clean and it felt very cozy! We loved the proximity to the town and especially loved watching the deer from the cute front porch in the morning! I hope to go back with my family next time.

This is a very cute historic type home with everything we needed for a ski trip to Monarch. We LOVED the location - could walk to shops - coffee - and all that downtown Salida offers. Definitely recommend! Itā€™s comfortable and very cute!!

Great Stay in Salida

We stayed here for a weekend and the property was perfect. Check in and communication with the hosts was easy. The property is in a great location. It is located at the park where a local farmers market takes place Saturday morning. It is just a short walk to shops and restaurants in downtown Salida- no need to drive and look for parking! Convenient street parking at the house.

This property is comfortable, clean, and in a fabulous location. Parking included and easy walk into the heart of downtown salida to access all shops and restaurants without needing to move the car or worry about parking in town. Across from park with farmers park. Grocery store only a few minutes walk away.

Perfect location downtown on the park. We picked up breakfast at the farmers market-right out the front door. My son was able to work from the bnb- good connection. We appreciated the AC. We would certainly return.

Summer vacation

We had a great stay in the Quaint Home on Alpine Park mid to late summer. The house was just as described and Jessica was very communicative. Getting into the house was easy and everything was clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. It is an easy walk to downtown and access to a lot of restaurants and shops. The grocery store is walkable, but we took the car based on carrying bags back. There was a nice farmers market the Saturday we were there. The house was great and Jessica checked on us a few times during the stay just to make sure we had everything we needed.
