Hear Dolly’s train from the cabin’s relaxing porch! Sunset Bear Hideaway is located in the peace and beauty of The Great Smoky Mountains, yet close to everything!

Refresh in the brand new hot tub, or destress in the rocking chairs or at the cozy fire pit. For your convenience and entertainment, the cabin has a full kitchen, outdoor grill, dining tables inside and out, washer and dryer, plus a 400-game Arcade console (favorite is Galaga or PacMan!), foosball table, corn hole, board games, and book nook.

Peaceful Smoky Mountain Cabin:
3 bedrooms (King, Queen, Twins, & Comfy Sofa Bed) with 2 full baths.
Sleeps 8.

CONVENIENT LOCATION with backroad options.

So much to do to make memories at Dollywood, Smoky Mountain National Park, Cades Cove, Pigeon Forge Strip, Dixie Stampede, The Island, Legacy Mountain Ziplines, the Titanic Museum, Ripley's Aquarium, Flavor Town, Rain Forest Adventures Zoo, NASCAR Speed Park, and more! Awesome restaurants, shopping, putt-putt, hiking, fishing nearby, too!

TIP for Dollywood: The Pigeon Forge trolley leaves from nearby Patriot Park and travels directly to the side entrance of Dollywood and brings you back to your car! You can also take the Trolly to other places in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg on the day pass.

Wonderful stay for our family at Christmas! Everything was decorated for the holiday very nicely. Water pressure and temperatures were great, beds were comfy and we had everything we needed for a week in the Smokies! Thankful to have found something that we could take my mom too as well. She was able to get around and access everything she needed on one level.

Really is close to everything!

This cozy cabin is located just 10 minutes from everything you want to do in Pigeon Forge, including shop for groceries. It's an easy drive to the Parkway that goes to Gatlinburg, too. The cabin has plenty of space. The hot tub was nice and we ended our stay using the fire pit and roasted marshmallows.

Family time in the Smokies

Great location! We were in the woods, but not too far away from everything. We even got to see a bear towards the end of the week. Jen was very helpful & quick to reply, if we had a question. Cabin was spacious & had everything we needed. We would stay here again!

Fabulous stay at the Sunset Bear Hideaway! Host Jen was helpful, sweet, and quick to respond to messages as well as proactive in sending information about the rental. Decor was beautiful and already up for Christmas! Felt like home away from home.A great place for our teens to spread out and have space. Close to everything but far enough to feel like you are truly on vacation. The hot tub was a nice touch as well.Love the shower in the master bathroom, nice and roomy! Bed was comfortable and the curtains kept out the light so sleeping in was easy! Ceiling fan and plenty of light in the master.Upstairs is a queen bedroom with an A-frame ceiling, so if you are tall, be aware of that, but it really wasn't an issue. No ceiling fan, but a standing fan was provided. Plenty of games and a lovely book nook brought you to the twin bedroom with another standing fan. Just note there is not a door, but it is tucked away so it feels like a bedroom.All in all a very comfortable, lovely rental with plenty to do!

Wondering getaway!

This was our 2nd time staying and love it! Very spacious and clean. Conveniently located to enjoy the peacefulness of the mountains but can enjoy the city within a few minutes! Owner is great and easy to contact!

Spring away from home

Place was amazing. Very beautiful inside and out and ton of room for a large family. Place was secluded but close enough to everything. You could even hear the train from Dollywood while enjoying the rocking chairs on the porch. Owner was great to work with. Definitely will be coming back when we return to the area.

Family vacation

This cabin is a perfect place to stay. After a day of seeing the sites it was so nice to come back to the quiet of the cabin. It is so well stocked and has clear labeled instructions on how to use certain things. The cabin is so comfortable and the beds were so comfy. We have older kids and they loved the gaming area, and hottub.We made some wonderful memories around the campfire.Jennifer was a great host she gave us clear instructions before arriving. During our stay I messaged asking where we could buy wood and she responded quickly saying she would have the wood guy bring some.If you are looking for a place to stay Sunset Bear is the place to go.
Our family favorite spot at the cabin. The chairs around the fire where comfortable.
I have never seen a kitchen in a rental so well stocked. My son found a waffle maker, so we made waffles for breakfast.

Perfect getaway

This was a great getaway for my kids and I! The cabin decorated for Christmas made it all the better! The cabin was extremely clean and cozy! The owner was easy to contact and helped with any questions we had before going and while there. I would definitely recommend and look forward to staying again!

The cabin was not as clean as it should be. The kitchen was not fully equipped. We went to cook breakfast and there was only one 6-inch skillet, as far as anything to fry in. It was outdated. The pictures were deceiving. The toilets ran all night. The hot water heater went out on us. Be aware this is a 2 story with a bedroom on the second floor but the 2 bathrooms are on the first floor. The only good thing I can say. Is that the property manager responded quickly. She had the plumber there first thing in the morning to replace the hot water heater.

I grew up coming to the Great Smoky Mountains with my family. The mountains were calling my name, and Sunset Bear Hideaway is a gem! Peaceful, relaxing, just the sound of nature and Dolly's train whistle when I'm outside on the porch rocking! We love being in the mountains, yet close to everything!

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

Our home away from home is nestled in the beautiful, quiet, peaceful Great Smoky Mountains! Located on close to an acre less than five miles to Dollywood, The Island, Gatlinburg Golf course, restaurants, and more! We also have a large, private deck with an awesome fire pit area and fully equipped kitchen. We've added a 400+ game arcade console (my favorites are Galaga and PacMan!) and foosball table in the loft. Restaurants and grocery stores are conveniently located nearby. We love our cozy home in the mountains!
