This fabulous property boasts all of the luxurious amenities you desire including spacious living areas, shared lake access to Crooked Lake, a boat launch five minutes down the road, and quick trips to all of your favorite resort towns: Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Boyne City, Mackinac City/Island, and more. Plenty of space to grill out, play yard games, and enjoy your friends and family!

You will be welcomed through the front door with new hardwood flooring and a neutral palette. A nice size kitchen with granite counter tops – perfect for cooking instead of always going out to eat. Enjoy your meals at the dining table that seats eight or continue the summer and fall nights at the outside dining. The main level of the home also offers a half bath and the spacious primary suite – complete with heated bathroom floors and a large walk-in shower. Heading up the stairs, you will find a nice landing area to sit and read or for kids to play games. There are two large bedrooms and one full bath on this level as well. If the landing area is not enough for kids to relax, they can also enjoy the second “living” arrangement in the bedroom to watch TV. This home offers the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience!

Overall happy with our stay. Our check in was 2 hours later than what was expected so we started our vacation a little late because the cleaners were not complete with the home, but the property management group was keeping us updated and offered a credit for the 2 hours or later check out. We chose the later check out option. The kids LOVED the pac-man station and toys offered! I would stay here again in the future.

First we want to thank the mgt team for accommodating our late check out request. They also assisted with some cleaning that needed to be done to the deck as well as locating an umbrella for the outdoor dining table. Overall the house was clean and nice. The home does need some updating in terms of paint and carpet. Kit was well equipped. Beds were comfortable. Overall a nice stay. Not a luxury experience but a nice experience.

Relaxing and Fun

Beautiful house with very nice decor and top notch amenities. Owner gave thorough information leading up to our stay and was quick to respond to any questions we had. This was a great place for our kids and grandkids to hangout for the week and had many great things to do within close vicinity.

Modern, clean, family friendly house and garage was a good home base for winter skiing at Nubs Nob and Boyne Highlands. Well stocked and well equipped kitchen made meal prep easy and quick. Thoughtful touches for kids like games and night lights and multiple TVs with hotel-like streaming experience. beach towels provided for summer fun. Location is very near Petoskey food and fun. Very quiet rural setting.

We had a great time Up North. This was a good location, close to Petoskey and Mackinac Island. House was very clean and well equipped. Back door to deck was hard to lock but we figured it out after a few minutes!

Great stay on near the Lake

We had a total of 6 people renting the house for a wedding at Petosega Camp. It was about a 10 minute drive, so location was great! All the bedrooms were super nice for our adult kids and spouses. They loved the Pac-Man game! Throwback for sure!! The library had a super good choice of books per my daughter-in-law.. I personally liked the heated bar in the master bathroom. Cute little house! I will stay there again if we get up in that area again!

Precious Moments with Family

Alanson was a perfect location between Petoskey and Indian River where my family has established residence after coming here every summer for many years. Despite cold, rainy weather, there were plenty of games, toys and room to enjoy ourselves. I loved the landscape and the kitchen was well supplied with cooking and eating needs. The only thing that was difficult was taking the garbage on the last day to a place that was probably more than a mile away.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We recently traveled to Michigan for a family wedding.... six adults and two children ( age 2 and age 6months ). The rental was perfect for us. The location and neighborhood were beautiful. Almost everything we needed for our stay was there for us. Any time we requested information or assistance, someone contacted us quickly. Instructions for checking in and out were clear. The one thing that could have made our trip easier was the communication regarding a pack-n-play for our grandson. We asked if there was one and told we would need to rent one from a local company. We decided to bring one which was cumbersome at best. When we arrived, there was one upstairs in the bedroom closet. It could have saved us transporting ours. We enjoyed the games and books left for everyone in the cute upstairs area. We would recommend this rental highly.

We divided into teams and split breakfast duties in a well stocked with tools and small appliances. Although it is VERY quiet, it is not isolated, there are other houses around. The location is about nine miles north of Petoskey, so a great home base for daily excursions. It was very clean. I might recommend bringing an extra blanket. Heated bathroom floor was nice.

We traveled to Alanson to visit family and friends and wanted a location that would make all of our travels easy to get to. This property was just that! Easy trips to Mackinaw City, Mackinac Island, Petoskey, Boyne City, Harbor Springs and so many others. The house was very clean with so many little perks that made it easy. Spices, laundry detergent, dishwasher tablets, and extra paper towels! Plenty of beach towels! We loved the bathroom towel warmers and heated floors in the primary bedroom on the first floor. Comfortable beds and soft linens. We took full advantage of the new propane grill too! Thank you for the great communication for arrival and all the updates on weather links etc.We found this location to exactly fit what we needs for our two couples and 2 small children under 3. If we are in the area again, we will definitely look to stay here again. Cheers to a great job Summerside Drive!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a great spot for our family with 3 adult kids. We golfed 3 beautiful courses, tubed and kayaked down the Sturgeon River, biked from Harbor Springs to Petoskey, and day tripped for golf and dinner in Charlevoix. Pick a lake and you can swim a different one all week within a 30 minute drive in any direction. Got a State Park Pass? You can go 15 minutes west to the Petoskey State Park or east to the Burt Lake State Park.The house is on a peaceful natural area (former golf course) with a pond full of bird houses, heron habitat, and deer crossing through the backyard. It is well stocked with all your needs. The rental managers are very responsive and maintenance person, Adam, was friendly, knowledgeable, and a great resource for local spots to see.Only reason I didn’t rate a 5 on cleanliness is because I don’t belive it’s possible for any home to be spotless.Would rent again when we need a week of disconnected relaxation and fun!

Harbor/Alanson home

This home is absolutely beautifully decorated. The designers didn't think with the the master shower. Its extremely slippery and i took a fall. Our chore list led us way out of the way to take out the trash as they had to leave a map to get to the can. Tried to put the tv on for the kids while we got ready for our day trip out and it didn't work properly. No biggie we moved on and one of us entertained them. They're sticklers for cleanliness yet there is diapers in the landscaping and something unidentifiable as well. Beautiful home as i said but definitely not as welcoming as some we have stayed at. We chose to just be there to sleep sadly would likely not rent in the future or for extended stay. ESPECIALLY since we got zero response when we messaged them directly while there. To be clear we searched for rentals in Harbor springs this on popped up. Check in process was actually the worst, as far as the MANY emails and texts plus the difficult online paperwork. I hope they work on this a little so families can relax when visiting.
