Julia – We checked our records and never received any messages to our after-hours number, which we provided to you a minimum of five times before and during your stay. We make ourselves available 24/7, so we wish you would have reached out to see if we could resolve some of these issues. Once we did receive your complaints on the day of your checkout, the Rental Manager placed a call to you right away via phone but did not receive a callback. Regarding the debris found outside – our housekeepers and Rental Manager were at the home hours before you arrived, and we can assure you these items were not there. This home is in an area that frequently sees wildlife, so we believe some critters are responsible for the items in the landscaping. Regardless of how it happened, we do understand your frustration. We apologize for anything you had issues with and are glad you could appreciate the décor and beauty of the rental! It really is a great place! We just wish you would have called so that we had the opportunity to correct anything you felt necessary to enjoy your stay more. - Vacation Properties of Northern Michigan
